That screenshot shows that you may be using a stock kernel, and using an Xposed module to fake SELinux permissive status. To actually edit using SQLite, you shouldn't be on a stock kernel, but a modified kernel such as beast kernel...
The tutorial to which I originally linked is for adding a flashlight toggle, though a few posts afterwards shows the steps you wanted (a toggle for mobile data).
I've modified the tutorial to give you that which you desire, mobile data.
The 3 records must edited in a similar fashion to that which is displayed below, adding the MobileData text and semicolon in between each edit.
Your edited fields should be in the identical order sequence for each of the 3 records in the database.
The first 3 screenshots show the highlighted rows, while the last shows the edited record. All you will be doing is adding the text MobileData to each of the 3. Put them wherever you wish for the toggle to appear in your drop-down notification panel..
Good luck!

Do you know how many taps you need to do to get there? Why is it I can slide down the notification tray and easily toggle on and off Bluetooth and Wifi and GPS, etc. but to toggle on and off Mobile Data I have to tap 4 times?!?

OK this is what I found. Get the Wanam Xposed app from the market and download the exposed downlader.
Open Xposed Downloader and update framework until all the red text is gone. Then go to Downloads and look for
ADVANCED POWER MENU +
You can have a custom recovery reboot power menu with data toggle and anything you can think of

App request for network

Dear friends, does anybody know about an application that adds toggles for networks in the curtain for task manager? It is really annoying if you go to an app that uses wifi or phone network and you forgot to turn either of them on first so you have to go to the home screen and turn on the wifi.
Widgetsoid will let you put toggles in the notification drop down.

Is this for stock RAZRs or rooted?
Or use "quick settings". It allows to change settings, still when the notification bar is not displayed.

Notification Toggle is a free app that does this nicely. You can even add other apps - like a flashlight - if you want.

[Q] Email preview in notification pull down?

Does anyone know if the One has the option to see a preview of an email message in the notification pull down menu? I just bought this phone today and have not been able to find this setting? I thought it was a standard Jelly Bean option, but I could be mistaken.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

I think you could just the 4.2.2 gmail apk and should work
Do you mean like this? I just sent myself a message. and that's how it looks in my notification bar. I do know that if it's a single line like WiFi TetherMod is, you drag it down using 2 fingers. So You'd drag WiFi Tether Mod down using 2 fingers and it would expand. (If the notification is capable)
EDIT: BTW, I'm using the stock Gmail app that comes out the market.

Does it look like this normally? If so, try dragging it with 2 fingers. I'm on Renovate. I don't think a ROM can add this feature. This feature is a JellyBean feature. I've had this feature on my Epic 4G Touch (GS2), as well.
The notification itself, if you drag it down with 2 fingers, it should expand. And you'd have more options and viewability. Like in my previous post.
I've also upload 2 more screenshots showing you a before and after of Google Music. It's a single bar, but if you drag it with 2 fingers it expands.
EDIT: Also it is not an option your turn on and off. By dragging, I mean the actual notification itself.

As you say, it might be in the next version. Getting this stuff early is a big reason folks root and use a custom Rom. I usually do, but just haven't felt the need with the One. It is meeting my needs right out of the box.

Any link for that? I'm not sure it would work over a stock rom, non rooted, but it is worth a try...
I'm interested. Do you have expandable notifications? I mean can you expand other notifications? I've always thought this was just a JellyBean feature and not something that could be taken out and added, or something of the sort.
I discovered that I won't get notifications unless auto sync is turned on. However, even with that on, I can't preview the notification.
I turned it back off because it also lights off the LED, which uses battery, and there is no way to turn that off separately.
I'd really rather save the battery than have constant notification of gmail messages.
The reason its not working for most of you is the battery saver notification. It is listed as a high priority/ongoing notification and essentially kills the auto expand. Expandable notifications have been in Android since 4.1 not 4.2

I'm still bone stock, no root, no mods, and I can expand my notifications (if they're expandable.) I have the notification for Power Saver, and this works whether it's toggled on or off.
You have to press and drag with TWO FINGERS to expand them. Not just one.

Sorry, you didn't say anything about "top notification" for "auto expand," what you said (or how it read) was that having the power saver notification in the notifications area was what was stopping folks from being able to expand notifications (with a two-finger swipe wasn't said, but seemed to be implied.) And I didn't think we were talking about "auto expand," but about being able to make them expand if they could...
I just did it on my stock ROM using the two finger method on the notification. I still have my Power saver notification showing also. I wish it would allow me to delete instead of archive.

What does this icon signify?

The first one in the notification bar area...
E911 gps icon.

I'm curious about deleting this icon on stock ROM; I have been using the xposed installer framework and have had great success with my battery icon and a couple other personal "annoyances". Anybody have some cool suggestions or links? This is low on my priority list next to enabling the built-in hotspot app aside from the widgetsoid toggle.
If your rooted, all you have to do is delete the SystemUI.odex file and then flash one of the mods and it will remove that icon on a stock rom.

The waves go away, but the rest of the icon stays. I think you would have to turn off E911 services for it all to go away.
I always have GPS off but the waves are still there.
EDIT: Oh, you mean location services. Now I see.
The idea is to leave the services on; we know they are, but we don't want the icon. Minimalist UI, etc.
They actually have an icon glossary built into the software. If you go to Settings>More>About phone, the icon glossary is in there.

I'm not sure if this is posted anywhere or if I'm placing it in the right section. Sorry if not...
To enable the hidden menu on Verizon Note 2:
- Install apk here: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/38150-enable-hidden-menu-and-dialer-codes/
- Open the app
- Press the menu button
- Press the black text at the bottom of the screen that pops up
- Select enable
- Do one of two things: 1) press the Launch Hidden Settings button or 2) exit out and use the codes through the dialer...such as *#0*# http://www.androidcentral.com/how-uncover-and-use-hidden-service-menu-galaxy-s3

It is good for forcing your phone into lte only mode. The only time it works for me thoigh is with the dialers. The apk never would. Now I have the hidden menu stored as a contact number. I just dial myy contact name, and jump right into hidden menus. It saves me havong to remember it all the time.

Dialer Codes
Could you post some dialer codes that would be useful for the VZW Note 2?
3G/4G/Hidden menu without root
no need for any app,
just use *#22745927 on dialer, then enable hidden menu from the next screen and then use the following codes to change whatever u wish
*#197328640# Service Mode
*#0228# BatteryStatus
*#0*# Screen/Sensor/Vibration/Touch/Speaker/LED/etc testing -- even gives out raw values for light sensor, barometer, etc in real time
*#2263 RF Band Selection
*#66336 MDM Randump Mode (defaults to OFF)
for LTE only or 3G only Edge only without rebooting device, download the app phoneutil .....http://mirror20.downloadandroidrom.com/download/apk/utility/phoneutil.apk?token=662111735
works like charm

Secret Code / Hidden Menu tester needed

Hi,
As you may know, you cannot enter the secret codes (e.g. *#0*#, *#0011#, *#27663368378#...) on a device that has not been enabled the HiddenMenu.
I need someone to help me to test if these codes work on your device by using my app: Shortcut Master.
Here is how:
- Install Shortcut Master app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite
- Go to menu 'Secret Code Explorer', select your desire code (e.g. 0*, 0011, 27663368378, 0228, etc...) and tap to launch it.
- You can select 'Launch 0' or 'Launch 1' to test if it work. 'Launch 0' requires ROOT access.
Please kindly test and feedback. Thanks.

I enabled it by going to efs/carrier/Hiddenmenu and changed OFF to On. You might want to add that to the OP along with making sure that ones ROM has the Hiddenmenu.apk in. As far as i know without this apk you can't access the menu.
Tried all 3 codes and they work.
Edit: Would you like me to change it back to OFF so you can see if your app works without enabling HiddenMenu?
Edit#2: Disable HiddenMenu by changing ON to Off and it worked. Came across some options that didn't. #2 and the last 3. I didn't run through all of them yet just at random. I'll update later on
