Guys, I am in deep worry for putting my Xperia Neo L into a bucket full of water. But I instantly took it removed the battery and made it dry for a day. Also I used hair dryer for it.
But still I cannot get it back alive. But when I press and hold the power button, the led light blinks white & turns to red and is stuck at that. nothing seems to be going on in the lcd screen. But when i press the power button again a small vibration happens and the phone gets turned off.
Please help guys. Is there any way I can do to bring it back, Will the Sony service center aid me in repairing a drowned phone ?

Hi i was replacing LED lights and ear piece of my galaxy S2 and when I finish the only thing that happend was the LED lights came on but the screen didnt not even the galaxy s2 logo I can also feel at the back of the phone it gets hot around when the screen connects to the motherboard and the CPU. The only thing that happend now is the LED comes on some times and i can hear all the normal sounds when the phone boots normally also the phone vibrates.
Any help plz.

You did a nice short circuit in your phone. What leds you changed? Try to clean the flex cable connectors or simply go to the near repair center.
Xperia u display problem
Will anyone help me? my little xperia u display dead due to sweat.The phone connecting in flashboot and fastboot and i also used ics official firmware via flashtool but again displaying only black.phone vibrates when i start my phone but sony logo doesn't come.there is only black screen.i kept in sun due to this white form made up on half of the screen.

If there is water in the display which has damaged something then no amount of flashing is going to help. Leave it a bowl of rice over night and if still doesn't power on then you'll need a service centre.

The phone is power on and everything fine even i can connect it to my pc led light also working illumination strip also very fine only display is showing nothing just black when touch the screen the sounds are hearable i dono wat happened since touch screen and everything working fine and i dont have warranty also bootloader unlocked
The LCD / LCD flex cable has been damaged or the part of the motherboard that controls the LCD. You would need to take it apart and look for corrosion on the motherboard and flex cable. It's possible leaving it open and letting it dry out might help. Liquid damage is unpredictable. If you don't see any signs of corrosion then you could buy a new LCD and give it a shot.
Hi, I think i have a unique problem with my phone. I dropped my Sony xperia Z2 from knee height and now it will not turn on. The battery was on 70% when i dropped it.
If i try to boot it into recovery or download mode, it doesn't work either, it just doesn't power on.
Now the odd thing is, when i connect a charger to the phone, the notification light turns on and flashes a red color. The phone turns on very briefly displaying the Sony Xperia Logo before turning back off again and this happens repeatedly. This leads me to believe that the issue is to do with the software and not the hardware. If this is the case then i feel as though the problem can be fixed without having to open the phone.
Do you guys have any idea what the problem is? or what can be done/tried to fix it?
Just to add, i tried to push the red reset button down which is located next to the sim card holder. This achieved nothing.

If this fails then you have done some damage to your device hardware and you need to contact a repair centre
hello! sorry, i'm completely new with this kind of stuff so please bare with me ;_;
i've recently dropped my xperia z2 phone into water and it won't turn on. charging the phone only shows a red LED and disappears once disconnected. the battery shouldn't be flat since it was 80-90% when dropped. i've tried holding the power button + volume up, which made the phone vibrate (three times i think?), but no longer does anything when power+volume up is pressed. when plugged into a computer, it says the usb device has been installed correctly, but it still does not read.
i feel there's not much that can be done, but i've put the phone in some rice for several hours now praying. is there still hope for me? ;__;

So after a year of a broken screen, I fixed my Z2, after like 5 months of using it, she decide to broke again... It fall on the floor from like a meter height.
I do have a glass protection screen which is a bit cracked (thank god the screen itself is fine..) after it fall and also phone does have a rubber cover on it.
So it fall, at first I thought that my phone died cause it wasn't reacting to power button at all. So I thought why not try turning off the Z2 to see if its still alive by pressing the red button where the sim card is.
And here we are now, can't turn on my Z2 at all. Even if the power button was broken but I knew that phone is still alive I would unlock it by pressing the camera button (ups.. too late..).
So any idea if its the button itself broken like a plastic thing under the button that touches the connector on the flex or is it the entire flex that is broken ? I've no idea if the rest of the buttons are working as turn off my Z2 and can't test it.
Any idea what might be broken and is there an option to turn on the Z2 without the power button ? It does react to charging for sure as the LED lights up red for a sec and then its orange as the battery is 75% charged and screen is working too cause it does show the Xperia logo with an Android one and it does show battery charging level etc.
I don't know how to fix it but if you have recovery, you can boot to system normally.
