You can hide it using Immersive Full-Screen Mode.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.ppareit.immersivemode&hl=en_GB

Copy your systemui.apk and rename apk to zip then extract then find every airplane icon and delete it!
Get back and put all the files and folders you extracted in zip file and choose store/none compressing mode then rename it to apk and set the same as old one name
Then sign it with zipsigner (get it in play store) and push it to the place you copied the systemui.apk and set rw-r-r

Undo metamorph

How do I undo something that I did using metamorph
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
You will need to either restore your Nandroid backup or flash the Rom you were on before you morphed. Most metamorphs don't come with a revert option.
Here are the stock vibrant files. make yourself a metamorph or just ninjamorph the stuff you want.

As much as like my new notification bar I also like knowing I can put it back to normal. I don't go to crazy with stuff like that. If its real simple I will do some things as long as its as simple to undo.

To make your own reverts use this method:
Dl ninjamorph(nm) from the market.. Thanks stericson
Open nm and choose new..
The apps are in the system.
For the status bar and icons choose system/framework/framework-res.apk
The pull down is twframework-res.apk
The applications are in system/app
After you choose the apk(s) you want to back up (they are stored on the internal sdcard in android themes/workspace) now you can apply your morph..
Whenever you want to revert just open nm and choose finish and choose your backed up apk.
Framework edits need a reboot.. all apps on froyo need a reboot...

Thank you I knew there was a way
I do like my new black graphite notification bar but sometimes the old is good to.

Hide files in android

Hello guys. I was nokia user since 6 years & I'm new on android. I just want to take information there are many file managers which have attribute option to modified any file.... i.e to hide files simply on their original path whatever the files stored anywhere but in android, there are also many file browser but these don't have attribute option to hide, mean there is only every separate application to hide files. It does not matter but the issue is that these applications hide the applications as well as it also moves the the files from its original path which i don't like. Can any kind man tell me the any file browser with attribute option to hide files or any hide application without moving the files. Thanx a lot for reading & suggestions.
Use root explorer...to hide a file in android simply put a (.) Before the file name..without the brackets..itll hide itself without changing its location but in root explorer ull havta go into the preference and uncheck show hidden files also!

if you're using touchwiz launcher if you press menu there is a 'hide applications' option where you choose which ones you'd like to hide from the app drawer (if that's what you're talking about - not sure when you say hide 'files')

Hide files, make them invisible from a normal directory listing. The answer is correctly given above.

I use Power Toggles, it is good to, and if you move the APK into /system/app it can also enable/disable GPS directly without showing parameter menu.

Thank's Orphée !
I'm twisted, I like my (old) system as widgets, lol
I use extended Controls. They are customisable, and I use only the toggles I need.
Here I am using 2 rows because the buttons are larger.

If your rooted just take the apk copy it into /system/apps/ and then change the permissions to match the other files...

Deleted apps still on settings menu

Hi, i deleted nearby devices apk, and all allshare apks but i still get the allshare cast and nearby devices option in the more settings menu.
if i select them, they force close the settings menu because they are not installed, can't this apps be removed from the menu so i cant select them after i delete them?
The same happens for the stock and weather widgets, even if i delete them the option to select them on the lockscreen settings appear.
im on stock ICS rom
Anyone?

You can do it only on JB and need root. You have to copy UniMessagebin.apk to your computer and unpack it with winrar. Then go to UniMessagebin\res\drawable-hdpi and find there background theme that you want to chance, for example message_bg_rain.jpg, open it with paint or other picture editor and change it or simply just replace it with your image. Than do the same thing with skin u chose in UniMessagebin\res\drawable-land-hdpi. Then images that you edited put to the proper folders in UniMessagebin.apk via winrar but with no compression and put modded UniMessagebin.apk to system/app on your phone and restart device.
You can do the same with message balloons.
