So recently I tried to install a rom on my SCH-R530X galaxy s3. Unfortunately I managed to hard brick the device, there for and obviously i need to unbrick it.
Now i know i could Jtag it, but if i could find a less...money involved method that would be great! I also know of the method to use a class 10 micro sd card and write a debrick file on it...but to my knowledge it needs to be carrier specific and I could not find a ntelos debrick file. If anyone could please provide one or another method of unbricking my device it would we greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased from china a Galaxy S3 i9300 replica, just like the one in the attached pictures, with MTK6575 processor, 4.8 inch screen and so on...
I was already able to root it, however I want to install CWM recovery but don't know how. I tried a guide I found on this forum using SP Flash Tool, but had no success. Actually I didn't understand very well the guide so probably that's why I couldn't get to install CWM on my phone.
Do you have any idea of how can I do this? I would really appreciate if you could give me simple steps to do it, I'm kind of new in this hehe

Hi, I did my best searching guide on how to root my phone, I even take the risks on bricking it by trying those guides that I found, but still I can't root my phone, so I decided to post here and ask for help, please teach me, guide me on rooting my phone, I really want to root it. If you want more information about the phone, I am willing to give all the information that you want. Thank you.

is there a way to root my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Wifi (model: SM-T210).. i can't find anything in google on how to root this tablet. If you happen to know one, please share it with me. A link of the guide will do. Thank you so much! :cyclops:

Does anyone know how to get root on the Samsung Replenish using a Mac? My Replenish is on the Gingerbread update.(2.3.6) I did find a rooting guide here on XDA but its Windows-only. The only tool like Odin is Heimdall, but it only works with Galaxy S devices. I've tried pretty much all the rooting tools out there I think but if anyone can help me please do. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I could not find a sub-forum for the Replenish.

I don't know if anyone has made a post about it yet, but I've been searching how to root my phone and I've only seen how to unlock it, people using KingRoot (just bricks it and I've successfully un-softbricked it), or rooting it for another version thats not the one I have. I haven't seen anything on rooting this version so for future references I hope this post will help people with the same question. Dunno if that effects it but just in case you needed to know I have metro-pcs and after unbricking it I used a t-mobile firmware so it has all the animations and t-mobile apps. All I need to know is if its even possible to root it.
