you can try to disable the google keyboard straight from application manager. but this setting is permanent as far as i know

could pass the application to know which to remove?

Or you could disable it directly from the apps manager.

Download Google keyboard from playstore, make it default keyboard and try to disable it again

Can't disable all the ASUS apps :(

One of the main reasons I was looking forward to ICS on the Prime was the ability to disable apps without having to install TiBa, etc... turns out only some of the ASUS apps you can disable... others like "App Backup", "App Locker", MyLibrary" etc, won't let you.
Anyone else experiencing this as well?
are you rooted?

No, but that's what I was hoping ICS would let me do... not have to root to disable the ASUS apps. Wonder why some you're able to and some you aren't.

sounds like you cant disable a "system" app
try to disable google maps, or the other google apps

Apps like Google Talk are baked into the ROM and that you can disable... also some things you'd consider a system app from ASUS, you can disable... I can't determine the criteria for what makes one be able to be disabled or not.

The asus apps are "baked" in as well. google apps are no more protected than any integrated apps, its standard "you need root to remove me" software

[Q] Forced Shutdown??

settings/applications/ click the ALL tab.....scroll to the bottom and click it and unistall it. or use Tibu to manage your apps. you can remove them that way as well.
That did not work - I even cleared the cache and it updated it all right back.

Hi All.. I have a question.. I have installed adb plus.. But some apps don't start because of it.. An error appears saying "you have to disable adblock to run the app".. I cannot each time to uninstall adblock and reinstall it after I've used that app.. Do you have any idea? Thank you all

Just do a left click on the ad block icon on the top right (on google chrome) and then untick "enabled for this site" option.

Well any solution would need root access including AutoStarts.
JB Moonbreaker is custom ROM, can't be found in Google PlayStore.
What version is your firmware?

If viber is nor srarted it won't start by no event as it needs to be running to get them, you can always exit viber after startup.
Did you check running apps and didn't see it there?

I recommend Disable Service app(also needs root). It's way better than greeify in my opinion. U can disable/enable any services from any app at any time, doesn't matter if its system or installed app
basically app shows up running services in background, by disabling them they won t launch until you enable them.
Also be careful wich services u disable!
Ya disabling is the best idea

Built in apps(bloatware)

Hi! So I recently got a Samsung Galaxy A20e and I got some apps that I don't want to use but can't uninstall so I have to disable them. Is it safe to disable apps in general? Also is it safe to disable those specific apps:
Netflix
Google Chrome(I prefer Samsung browser)
Samsung Pass
One Drive
Facebook
Dictionary
Android Auto

Yep, since they're not really useful to the system you can disable them. But before doing this for "Dictionary", are you sure this is a bloatware ? If it doesn't appear in your app drawer it means this app is your keyboard's dictionary, used to "remember" the way you write.
Otherwise you can disable the other ones
Ok thanks!
