I DAMAGED MY SYSTEMUI.APK WHILE MODIFYING MY NAV KEYS.
I AM LOTS OF PROBLEMS
1.I HAVE NO STATUS BAR
2.NO NAVIGATION BAR
3.CANNOT CHANGE WALLPAPER.
4.CANNOT TAKE SCREENSHOT BY VOL UP AND LOCK KEY
IT HAS BEEN REALLY IRRITATING and ANNOYING TO NAVIGATE BY SUBSTITUTE APPS.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME KARBONN TITANIUM S5 PLUS/COOLPAD 7925C SYSTEMUI.APK URGENTLY.

P.S : I TRIED FLASHING STOCK ROM BUT IT SEEMS YGDP TOOL SEEMS INCOMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 8 EVEN IN COMPATIBILITY MODE WITH ADMIN RIGHTS.IT KEEPS ON CRASHING AS SOON AS THE .CPB FILE GETS UNZIPPED

Many users here are helpful and I have learned a lot..
To thank these good people I've modded a couple of Lollipop apk's and will upload them here for others as a thank you.
These two have been modded for my personal use.
SystemUI.apk mod:
After upgrading my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910G) to Android Loillipop 5.0.1 I was again facing the much disliked "S Finder" and "Quick Connect" buttons in the notification tray.
As I dislike the S Finder and Quick Connect being in the notification tray, they have been removed.
Settings.apk mod:
Since I have disabled/removed a lot of apps I have no use for the following items, they have been removed from the Settings menu
Accessibility
Easy mode
Private mode
Safety assistance
These apk's need to be copied into their original locations (will need root access)
Please back up your original files before doing any of this as I am not responsible if you stuff something up :crying:
SystemUI.apk is located in /system/priv-app/SystemUI
SecSettings.apk is located in /system/priv-app/SecSettings
You will need to set the permissions to these files once you copy them over to rw-r-r--

I am not sure. I can only suggest that you "back up" your files and then try each one and see how you go. If the SystemUI.apk doesn't work for you the worst that will happen is a crash and no notification menu/pull-down. You will be able to copy over your old file and go back. I would assume the same thing for SecSettings.apk. It will either work or just simply crash when you try to access it. If it crashes just copy the old one back. If you decide to try these files don't forget to set the permissions once you copy the files over.

i have an asus memo pad 8 me180a K00L
i root this tablet by kingo,and successfully root . but without any recovery
i dont know there is no recovery . install "DPI changer" to edit "Build.prob" file.
i edit this file and change DPI of my tablet . and now when turn on device , boot up successfully but when UI like(icons , notification bar and ...) show up give me error and UI disappear , after a while ui show up again and repeat erorr.
if you have any way to re alive this tablet,please say here.
ways such as :
replace "build.prob" file.
access to "build.prob" file and edit by my self.
back up rom from alive tablet and flash.
or any other ways.

Sorry if I am posting my question in the wrong thread. I am having a bit of problem with the Statusbar icons in my tab. There is an ugly space between the WiFi and Airplane Mode icons in my Statusbar. I want to move them (if possible) or remove the space so that it looks better. I can I searched nearly everywhere but cannot find a solution.
I Tried Flat Style Icons, but it removes the stock icons and messes up the Statusbar, , also tried Xstana but the space does not go. Also tried copying SystemUI using file manager and tried opening it with WinRar but gives error and none of the SystemUi files exist in it.
Tried extracting SystemUI using adb, but it gave error regarding root access it says the following:
"remount of system failed permission denied", or "device not found", even when the device is connected
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Screenshot attached below.

Hi everyone i need your help in special for a people who knows for edit apk for lollipop the problem is this i like to add a white circle to my toogles i decompress with winrar and extract the res and eddit my toogles but when i compress and remplace the systemUI on my cell phone and give permissions and restar my phone a message its appear "systemUI is stoped" and broke my rom.
I tried with apktool and it doesn´t work. The original image and the modified image is the same look the screenshot.

today i've instal edited icon png framework-res.apk and have problem..
my statusbar (signal, battery) and panel control not appear, when swipe down my screen .just show nothing..
lately i found icon volume control not appear when i press the button too..
if i reboot it, it says systemui stop working and the button just ask to poweroff/reboot again
i think my backup unusaable, when i restore via twrp it's still happen.
please someone help me the solution, or upload default files of systemui /framework-res :crying:
