I'm sure there would be a good market for these and would love to see the following watch faces implemented in Android Wear:

I agree with the Bell & Ross watch faces. If we could also get some Tag Monacos that would be nice.

May I request that you not put in the external watch hardware as a part of the face? It ruins the illusion and looks, just the face (like don't put in the screw and the outside plating and the strap etc as a part of the watchface). Like in the pic above, if you were designing that as a watch face, I would put the actual face, and perhaps the circle as well, but not the square piece outside it or the screws. Even with my galaxy gear a lot of watchface designers did that, and frankly it looked really weird.
I agree, it looks like two watches then.

Looks good, but better without the screws
I decided to do this for you guys until they make a watch face with date and seconds. It took me about 2 hours (wanted to make it perfect). Just use Wear Faces and my png files below. I took the yellow watch face and the white watch's watch hands from the picture you posted above and did my edits. All credit goes to those who posted those. I think they turned out great . If you guys have any preferred colors, let me know or feel free to do it yourself in Gimp or Photoshop by changing the Hue. Hope you like them. Enjoy!
The colors are much brighter/better in person. For some reason, the centers aren't exactly overlapping correctly. I think it is because I used _MinusZero_'s hour and minute hand png background file and tried to match them up according to that since I wasn't sure how high or low I was supposed to center those. Can anyone tell me or feel free to correct this? Thank you .

Right people.
After having my vega for a week nearly, and after being skint, Ive tried to reproduce somthing I once saw on a flight that some guy had his phone propped up in.
It may have already been posted as it is very simple? If it has, I apologize for reposting.
Method
First you need a good sized piece of firm cardboard, roughly 2 inches longer than A4 sized Id say.
I found that cereal box sides, were perfect, especially double layered.
once you have your piece of cardboard, or doubled-up-cereal-pack-board you need to trace this shape onto it:
{

Sorry it may seem a bit wonky, its not supposed to be, you get the idea of the shape from it. Make yours as neat and as symetrical as you wish.
Next, cut out and keep the area below the shape you drawn.
you should have this shape left:
Now you need to reinfoce all the edges, I used plain old cellotape, a few layers at least if you want it to last. Pay particular attention to the Hook areas as these take the brunt of the wear. See image below.
Now cover the thing in gaffer tape! I used it and it seemed perfect, pliable and strong. Other variations may be just as good if you dont have gaffer tape/duct tape. Mine looks like this, a bit rough I know, but it was the first one.
Your done! It is pretty self explanitory from here in. But just to complete this guide I will post visual instructions on how to use it with your tab.
1. Bend it.
2. Place the bottem edge of the tab into hooks.
3. Open it out a little and it should look like this,
Done.
My personal setup:
Thankyou if you took the time to read this.
If I could ask, would someone be able to post this link over at Modaco, Im not a member yet, and have used the site for the first few times this week, Id just like to try and give something back to the two sites that have hepled me in the past and more recently.
LONG LIVE XDA, LONG LIVE MODACO. Thanks evryone for all your help with android.
I have not seen this before. Could come in handy when out and about without the dock. This post has been well made, thats what i like to see . Thanks for the info.
Thank-you. And thank-you again as I do believe I'm using the Vega bootanimation you created? The Sega style one.

So I am seeing some color issues with my SII
Not sure if it's just the way it is (because I am coming from the LG G2x which had the most amazing display you can ever imagine), or is it just my phone.
The funny thing is that even though I am attaching a screnshot, obviously YOU will not be able to see the issue (since of course, the pic itself is fine, and it is the display that makes it wavey...)
I am not even sure I am explaining myself the right way.
Wavy colorts, uneaven, almost cartoonish-like, smeary.
It is most apparent with darker shades
(U can't see it here)

Samsung's Super AMOLED Plus displays exaggerate colors and shades, and that is it's key feature. Not sure about your phone, but if you think something's wrong with your phone, go check with your service provider.

I hope more members will have something to say, perhaps they have experienced this as well.
I was also thinking whether this can (hopefully) be a kernel issue or color calibration issue? I know that some kernels has effect on the colors, but I am out of my field here and completely wrong
The weird thing is that light colors are perfect. When GRAY or BLACK, it just looks bad.

I've got something similar to that.
It's not noticeable in a well lit environment but if I'm in a dark room and have a black screen on my sgs2, some blotches seem darker than the rest of the screen.
I wouldn't be too bothered about this if it was just one or two but there's one large one and a bunch of smaller ones scattered around the screen.
Thanks!
I wish I could upload a photo to show it, but (funny enough), my only camera is my phone's camera (a single student - what r u gonna do?!)
This is especially noticeable when I take a picture or when I use the Music app (pictured above), where there is huge smears of color going from the dark to the lighter.
I hate to even imagine it, but I think I will have to depart from my SII if this is something that isn't fixable. If no one else experience this, I will get a new SII
(i don't know anyone that has the SII so I have no one to compare it to)
Managed to take some pics
Hope U can see it:
Look at the bottom discoloration:
All menus with shades of grey and black present this issue (kernel problem maybe?)

Already posted somewhere in the end of a long thread but thought it needed a post of its' own.

P.s. My 2 cents on the whole matter, I think HC was rushed in order to launch with crappy drivers etc. Fingers crossed for ICS!
Cheers!
Well, I see stereo speakers.
Looks like they had to break the bottom inside to open the tablet. Look there on the botton.

There are four black holders each held in by a single screw. I don't know how you would open it without breaking it.

Sounded too spacial to me to not have something going on...
>There are four black holders each held in by a single screw. I don't know how you would open it without breaking it.
Looks like the two (not four) slider clips are designed to break off the mushroom heads upon opening, which would be for anti-tempering. Assuming they aren't screwed down tight, I suppose you can slip in a small pick to push the clips to the right to disengage.
Anyway, you don't actually need them. The text says the bottom is held together by adhesive. The plastic clips on the top & sides are sturdy enough to hold the halves, as long as the bottom doesn't move around.
Would be nice to see a complete disassembly to see how it's assembled. Although the problem with complete teardowns is that it's usually a one-way street.
Gak, just noticed the dual speakers were CLEARLY mentioned already. Yeesh.

I got a replacement phone because the headset speaker died on my original one. I don't remember having this issue on the original phone. Can you guys take a picture of a white wall or ceiling in medium light and see if you have this problem. Otherwise I might have to see about another exchange.
Also, it seems that this has been a problem since the i9100 was introduced but I don't remember it before.

that's a light issue, not a camera issue. turn your flash on. besides, when is there ever a time that I need a picture of the ceiling?
(by the way, I checked this on 3 phones, the ones in my signature, and it does it on all 3 phones. Then I turn on my flash on the gs2 (since the other ones don't have a flash) and it goes away. in order not to get it without your flash, you have to be in more natural sunlight)
You've never taken a picture of something white before?
The ceiling is just an easy example.

I have, but if it's outside I don't get this red spot. And if it's inside, I don't get it either if I use the flash. I don't see that as a bug in the camera. My wife is a photographer. This is coming from her. It's the light.
---------- Post added at 10:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 AM ----------
I also just took some pictures of things around the house that are on a white background. like pictures on our wall. I took some with flash, and some without. Now it appears that this red spot for me only shows up if the picture is completely white and I don't use the flash. If anything else is in the picture, it's gone - with or without the flash. Seems like a non-issue to me.
Read up on how to do a white balance for your camera.
As you go further out from the optical center of the camera, the angle which the light makes with the normal to the detector increases. This in turn means that, toward the edges, there's more chance that a light ray will travel through more than one of the colour filters, resulting in a color shift at the edges.
Here, it looks as though the camera white-balance has fixed a colour shift around the edges, at the expense of the center shifted to pink.
Phrases to google if you're interested: "pixel crosstalk", "bayer filter", CFA.
All smaller imagers are prone to this; they're simply too short for the optics to be close to telecentric (i.e. all rays hit detector at 90°). In a scene where there's a better range of colour and lighting, you likely wouldn't notice any problem at all. If you do, then cell-phone cameras aren't for you

Homestyler Interior Design
Recently I was given the task of painting my living room. I headed over to Home Depot to look at some color swatches and maybe pick out some paint. When looking at the massive selection I began to realize that I can't seem to visualize what any of these colors would actually look like in my house. It's just something I'm not very good at. Luckily we live in a world where technology provides solutions to nearly everything!... and I still can't get a girlfriend.
There is an app created by Autodesk that was able to make my project much simpler and a lot of fun. Homestyler is an app that lets you take a photo of the room that you are working on and apply different wall colors, floors, add furniture, lighting and anything else you could think of.
Snap a picture of a room to create your own 3D home design playground.
• Place high-quality 3D models of real furniture products in your rooms
• Hang light fixtures from your ceiling
• Visualize different product combinations
• See how realistic models of actual branded rugs, paintings, mirrors and more look in your space

After being inspired I was able to paint my room with a color that I knew would look great.
Along with the powerful design tools in the app, there is a social media platform that is similar to Pinterest where you can share your designs. This feature of the app makes it worth checking out even if you don't plan on doing any redecorating any time soon. The app is just plain fun to use. It's like a real life sims game.

thank you so much for this.. i really use this
It looks absolutely great. Thank you very much for sharing that. I was looking for a person who would create a 3d visualization of my living room. Now I see how easy it is. So, I think I will be able to deal with this task alone. The only question I have. Are there any real collections of furniture and accessories? I already know I want two contemporary rugs from DorisLeslieBlau. So, it would be great to use those particular items in the app. Or maybe I can choose patterns and colors of rugs there. I will be very thankful if you answer my questions and explain to me how to do that!
