Were you flashing a ruu file? If so make sure its the right one for your phone or maybe the one you downloaded was just a bad download.

Did you buy it new and it tried to upgrade from the network? If so, send it back to T-Mobile or take it to a store.
Soo.... ive been unable to obtain the samsung galaxy s4 from my carrier as its out of stock .... but besides the point. I prefer to try to attempt to get my htc amaze 4g up and running again but i cant figure out what's wrong with it. just a few weeks ago my phone showed me a blackscreen ... though it was a black screen my keys were still lit... now this has never happened.. the first thing i did was i took out the battery... then it happened my phone refuses to start up i can feel the vibration of my htc amaze 4g... then after a bit i feel the vibration again. It has nothing wrong with it's battery, its been rooted since ... forever..... its never given me any problems besides a bit of overheating, and oh yea ... it smelt a tad burnt.... but ive so much stored on my htc amaze i would love if someone could please help me (btws my phone was running on android 2.3.4)

Hi all,
Need your help with an issue.
I have this HTC Desire 4G (Asian non-branded, non-carrier version).
I had successfully rooted, S-off'ed, Super CID and then had gradually upgraded to ICS and then installed Cyanogen 10.1, which was working perfectly since 2 weeks or so.
Just today, I encountered this strange problem, when for some reason I turned it off and then tried to turn it on again, it never did!
Even the led charge light is not showing up. It seems like dead!! But for no known reason.
I have exchanged the battery with new and charged ones, almost tried every trick and every step which could be done. Its even not running into boot-loader.
Yesterday, my brother's same phone was almost dead when the s-off for his phone went wrong during the wire trick. We got rid of this problem by removing the internal small cell and putting it back, and the phone was alive again.
Will it work for my phone as well? or will I have to do something else?
Please help!! its very frustrating
Regards,
Zeeshan

Your device is probably bricked. If it was showing a 'QHSUSB_DLOAD' driver issue when you connected it to your pc then the Amaze unbrick project would've helped.
Where did you buy this phone? In Lahore?

hey, i encountered the same problem. i was running cm10.1 and when i restarted my amaze it didn't reboot after turning off. eventually when i took it to a repair shop i discovered that there was a problem in the power ic of the phone and the that the internal storage had become corrupt so to repair that it cost me about Rs1500 . where do you live? in lahore? if so you should go to the gol market in dha y block and go to a shop named world mobile. they have all the tools and stuff for these kind of problems.
Im using my HTC desire x updated to 4.1.1. One morning suddenly, my phone suddenly crashed and switched off and gave 5-6 vibrations. i tried to factory reset it but it failed. tried to restart some hours later.. it did, but froze and crashed again. previously when i went into the bootloader, it showed ***LOCKED*** and ***Security warning***, but later, it disappeared. still going with those Freezing, crashing and vibrating problems. any guesses for the problem?

Are you still on stock? If yes, claim warranty. Looks like faulty battery or mainboard.
hmmm.. can be. my phone came from service center almost 50 days ago. Still, when i went there, many people were complaining about motherboards getting faulty every two months.
Last summer, when I tried to relock my bootloader it shows ***RELOCKED*** and ***Security warning*** and when I select reboot it goes to the bootloader again... To solve this I flashed the ruu of my cid and now its working without problems since that

Hey friends,, using HTC one X+ since two years had no problems yet.. But yesterday automatically the phone got switched off. First I thought battery might have drained since I was travelling i didnt gave it much imortance.
But now the phone is not booting up even it have been full charged,, it boots only upto HTC home screen. But if the deivce is connected to a charger it wroks fine.. Is it a battery issue or some thing wrong with software..
Please help me guys..I just wanted to confirm and check all possible ways before going to service center.
