Hi guys. I wonder if there is an option to stop the wake-up movement recognition. In the night I am flash by my watch lol. Any ideas?

That won't help with the gesture activation.

I'm assuming he/she meant mute / DND the watch by pulling down from the 'home screen'. If so, yes. It will help with the gesture activation.
When I do it, the screen doesn't light up when at 45ยบ.
Like so: link
Thank you for the solution but I use the watch to wake me up by vibration at the morning. So mute it not help me . It would be better if we have an option in the firmware to switch on or off the movement wrist detection.
I have the opposite problem, I can't get my lg watch to wake up by moving it, I've tried different movements and nothing, the screen is set to be always on but the only way to wake it up from its dimmed state is to tap the screen.

If really nothing works and the watch is not muted you probably have a defect. Especially if this was the case from the moment on when you got it. Request a replacement from where you bought it.

Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.procoit.wearmylauncher and activate the shower mode. It still vibrates but the screen is dimmed and won't turn on if you accidently touch it or move your wrist.
Godd idea, i will try.

In Market, There Seems To Be So Many Cool Apps Dealing With The Proximity Sensor Like:
1>Proximity Screen Off
2>Wave Control
etc
Well It Seems There Is No Problem Installing It, Or Crash (or force Close)
BUT
On These Application Gesture Function Nothing Seems To Work EXCEPT The 'COVER & HOLD' Mode
[e.g: say I Set 'Swipe Once' To Turn Off The Screen And 'Swipe Once' To Turn On The Screen...NO NOTHING WORKS!:crying:
Now Put 'Cover & Hold' To Both Turn On And Off The Screen Just As Before (in different gesture)...Works Like A Charm:laugh:]
Same Case Happens In Wave Control ('Default Pause Or Play' On 'Cover & Hold' Works, But 'Next Song' On 'Swipe Once' Doesn't Work:crying:

Proximity Screen Off didn't work too well with my Xperia S...it had a problem with immediately switching the screen right back on after it triggered a screen off. I'm using Smart Screen Off myself, which I think is the best one of these sensor on/off apps I've seen yet. It has a lot of options and seems to have a better calibration for your proximity sensor and gyroscope. Not only can you trigger your screen on and off with the proximity sensor, but you can also shake the phone to turn the screen on/off, and flip it over to turn the screen off. I'm using a hand wave to turn the screen on, combined with a screen off widget and the flip over motion for turning the screen off, and it works great.
I do wish somebody could make an app like PGM Nexus for Xperias, that is an amazing app that's sadly for the Galaxy Nexus only. You can turn on your screen by just swiping left to right on the screen, or double tapping on it with that app. Swiping right to left at the screen bottom turns the screen back off.

Yes i know this bug.
It's just because the proximity sensor is to slow.
And don't worry, it's a software bug.
To fix it, go to system/etc/hw.conf
You will see 'proximity sensor configuration"
CHange values
dev=/sys/bus/i2c/devices/3-0054/

val_nburst=1

Are you saying the vibrations stop working all together?
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I never mentioned vibrations!!!
I should have explained it a little better though
when you make or receive a call and you are on the phone the screen turns off and disables all button presses because the proximity sensor is covered
but even though the display is off and the sensor is covered you can still press buttons whilst on the phone
so far I have tried sending a text
cut people off
muted the phone
put the phone in to airplane mode
added events to my calendar
and more
all this with the side of my face while in a call

Hey everyone,
Just got my G Watch today. I've been playing around with it, and have noticed that it goes dim while using navigation on it. Obviously that isn't very good while driving, because then you have to tap the screen and swipe the navigation card back up. Does anyone know a way to stop the watch from going to the always active dim mode while using the navigation?
Thanks in advance,
Nick M.

1.) This has been answered before
2.) This happens everywhere not just in navigation
3.) No (I wish there was though)

This app now has the option do always keep the screen on.
I can't figure out for the life of me how to disable the wrist activation feature, I don't want to mute the watch, I just want to disable any movement from waking it. So only touch input would wake it, rather than movement. Any suggestions?

You think there would be an option to double tap to wake! When I wear a T-shirt and cross my arms my watch vibrates every 5 seconds!
So annoying...
Hopefully, some customization features would make android wear perfect
Commenting for future updates. I would really like this. Especially since most of the time when I actually want it to come on it doesn't.
My lg g watch doesn't turn on when I move my wrist. Have constant display turned off. Have to double tap to wake or wait for incoming notifications

Is there currently a way to set the watch to NOT turn the screen on when I get a notification?
Doesn't "muting" the watch do that?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Yeah it does, but I think he wants it to show up normally when you activate the watch. I wouldn't mind that
Yeah. I'd like to receive the notification without the screen turning on. Just a vibration.
I would totally love this as a mod. I'd pay for it too. Just vibrate when it comes and let me double tap to wake it when I'm ready. That way strangers can't see it

Have you played with Facer at all? You can tell Facer not to display notification cards at all. I haven't played with that, so I don't know if it still vibrates (assume so).
and if you blocks msg app
and using only wear mesenger app?
i think it should work
This is a standard setting on android wear on your phone. My G watch only vibrates when i get notifications and dont light up until i look at it or touch it.
Under android wear you can also select which apps notifications to block from going to your phone.
My phone screen doesn't turn on when I get a notification, it only powers on if I touch it.
In fact I would like it to turn on automatically if a notification arrives, what you don't want lol.
Any idea how to make the screen turn on when notifications appear? It used to before I updated to 5.0
