[Q] HTC One Max Vipermax LTE data issue - HTC One Max

Ive been having issues with my phone not allowing background data in most situations, apps will not update until I turn on wifi, apps i already have that are online ( clash of clans, simpsons tapped out, Show box, Google maps, etc ) will either not load until wifi is on or take multiple retries before they work. Ive flashed the stock rom back to the device, factory reset, wiped dalvik multiple times, even got another sim card from Verizon and it still isnt working unless im on wifi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clear Browser Data to fix internal memory problems?

I just called T-mobile in an attempt to have them replace my vibrant under the manufacturer's warranty. I believe the internal memory is damaged. My phone locks up once or twice a day and I have to pull the battery or do the vol-down-home-power button combination for ten seconds to reset the phone. This continues to be a problem after installing custom roms, going back to factory settings, lag fixes, etc.
T-Mobile just told me to try clearing out the stock browser's history, cache, cookies, saved passwords, basically everything, and that this is a "known issue" with Vibrants that happens if you don't clear the data every few days.
Has anyone else ever been told this by them before? Searching the forums hasn't given me much to support what they said, and I'm starting to feel like they're just stonewalling me.
Any advice/input/opinions are appreciated. Thanks!
Update: I cleared the browser data and then ran every single game on my vibrant, one after another (games were where I was seeing most of the lock ups).
This might sound crazy but so far it really does seem like it made a positive difference. Load times for some games are noticeably shorter.

[Q] LG G2 Won't connect to VZW Network

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my Verizon G2. I had the Xposed framework installed, and I installed an app called Xorware, which is a toggle for 2G/3G/4G. I messed around with the settings in the app a little bit, and left it alone. A bit later, the phone stopped connecting to the mobile data network. I tried uninstalling the Xorware apps, wiping the cache on my phone, and even restoring to a backup where I don't have Xposed installed, and I'm still getting the same issue. Wifi still works, but every couple of minutes it disconnects randomly and then connects again. I also tried removing the SIM card for a few minutes after turning off the phone, and still, no luck.
Is there any way I can fix this, or do I have to go and get a new SIM card?

Click to collapse
That's really odd. I'd try and update the PRL and / or Profile and see if that helps. If it doesn't, then might have to restock the phone with the kdz file. It's kind of a pain, but probably not as much as not having data.

Multiple internet-based apps broken after 4.4.2 update

Im having issues and I really don't want to factory reset the phone unless no one has any ideas. Netflix, Pandora, Amazon, Playstation, and Vudu all time out and give some sort of an error about inability to connect when I try to use them. Happens on both 4G and Wifi. Have tried reinstalling all apps and rebooting. Task manager disabled.
Anyone else having similar problems? My phone isn't rooted.
Well I broke down and did a factory reset...
Everything is functioning like it should be now.

App freezes since update :(

Anyone else had this since the latest stable miui update? The GPS issue arose and had issues with various apps and games causing the phone not to respond, others would hang for ages then work eventually after it kicked back into life.
I went to the developer global ROM to see and the GPS worked but the app hangs still persisted.
I unlocked the bootloader yesterday and put lineage 14.1 on (official). Same issue is persisting. I've formatted the entire internal storage before flashing the latest nightly along with firmware and gapps.
Games such as Crossy road, smashy road, mario run all won't load just sit on a black screen. Dawn of titans however does seem to work.......
Any thoughts?? :silly:
Just tried the Disney version of Crossy road as a test.....loads then hangs on the 1st screen for an age.....then loads to the screen where you have to press the play button......5 app isn't responding messages later (after clicking wait) and finally kicks into life......not sure why all these apps hang for so long then eventually work?
Any options in developer options that may resolve this?
Just reinstalled the original game and eventually got it to load after freezing forever and a ton of not responding messages, then after selecting a gift to open the freezing came back again.....it's struggling with something as works fine during gameplay
No worries found the problem, was the micro SD card it's knackered.....didn't think it would affect the apps and system as there stored on internal memory??

Google Backup stopped working

At some point over the last 2 or 3 months, Google Backup stopped working with no notice (except for photos and videos). Samsung is still able to back things up, but that apparently only works manually, and we all know about manual backups. I've tried turning off Google Backup for a few days and turning it back on, but I was wondering if there's a program on my phone I can force stop, or clear cache, and it will magically start working again without the terror of deleting and reinstalling my Google account, or factory reset.
