I flashed a ROM on my Blue Life Play(very similar to the Qmobile 900a) and after I flashed it, I only get E, and no H(HSPA) or H+. I made a backup before I installed the ROM...but now how do I fix the signal? I was reading some places and it said I need to flash a radio firmware...but there are none that I can find about this.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

here i go again doing stupid things...
I have a bell phone and was having a problem flashing roms (alien and red pill) so i searched the forums and found that the fix was that i needed the latest temfars recovery , so i flashed that then the rom and it worked! But now my phone thinks its at&t!
What can I do to fix this?
Thanks
sorry for my noobyness
Hi everybody! I've got an S3 NoBrand rooted, mounting PAC rom with kernel stock (tryed also googy's kernel) and stock modem.
After installing the first coocked rom 1 month ago (the CM10.2) I found a "secondary" problem to which I have never given much importance but now I would like to solve
From the first boot with the new rom the phone marks me as there is no signal. In fact, although there is network and you connect to the Internet without any problems, the strenght signal icon remains "empty" (see picture to understand better).
[Can't post image because of limited powers of new users]
I have found out that did not depend on Cyano as it lasted one day before I've changed it with the PAC but this issue has remained unresolved ..
I have already tried full wipes data, cache, devilk and cleaning then changing the kernel!
Sorry if I used a bad English but I've already asked on the Italian forum but unfortunately without success!
I'm counting on you!!
THANKS! :good:
(sorry made a wrong post and can't delete it =S )

Could u help me finding where to download the stock rom?
I've found out that it depends on the model number or something like that but I can't get how to discover it!
up :/
Try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32664154&postcount=4
The first website (samfirmware.com) should give you the stock ROM you need
I've installed the stock rom and the Signal icon is working again!
Anyone knows why is giving me such a problem with the other ROMs?
Can't I do anything about it?
Hey Guys,
after some research in this forum i decided to root my cynus t5 and flash a custom rom you provide here. Currently im running SamHD, which is really great.
But since this flash im having problems with my mobile reception, which gots really bad. Is there a solution for this? Ive read something about changing the modem.img in the flashable zip, but i didnt find an exact solution or files for that.
Furthermore im not getting a gps signal. While using "gps status" (id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2), after a while its showing me 0/12 (fix/satellites)..is there a solution for this?
I really appreciate any help! Maybe the easiest way is to get back to stock rom..but even for this im not getting any solution..
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Sorry for reactivating that old post, but i got the same problem. (I got a Galaxy Note 4 Rom from Sai RamCharan.) I can not get a gps fix. GpsTest always shows 0/12 and ygps in engeneermode shows status unknown.
I solved the baseband issue by replacing the modem.img with that from the stock rom (extracted from a backup) using a root Explorer.
But i couldn't solve the gps problem. I read that i have to exchange the driver (mtk_agpsd) but it didn't solve the problem.
I would like to know which files are related to the gps driver and service, than i could try to replace them by my backed up files from the stock rom.
Good day everyone
I have decided to root my S3 and flash a custom rom of android 4.4.2 on it. Now, i've flashed roms before but what i dont remember and need help with is the difference between the roms and which one is the right one for my device and the carrier i'm with.
I got my S3 from Vodafone Australia. If i remember correctly flashing a rom designed for different radio kernels (i think thats what it was) will brick the phone. is this right? if so could someone please tell me how to find the right rom?
I tried to search and find my answer in forums but couldn't find anything, so any help would be highly appreciated!

you can brick your device only when you flash a rom which is not made for your device...
first confirm that your device is gt i9300
then you can try out any rom from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development
just find the rom that suit you and read the instructions before installing anything..
for ex for 4.4.2 roms you have to update your recovery to the latest cwm or twrp..
When you flash do not allow the rom to update the radio, otherwise you will lose network connection. Search and read in general forum for Australian S3 discussion.

Hello,
I seek for help. I just rooted my Samsung Galaxy S2-G and flashed ROMS into it. Somehow I able to implement the ROM. However, the signal bars are blank and stated '' No service''. Please help me regarding this matter. :/
