Anyone is free to use this mod & to build apon it to use in their own work - just include me in the credits
This is a mod which will give you a transparent status bar for the selected roms below and it also contains a CM brightness slider
The brightness slider does NOT require status bar greper to work
Make sure you do a nandriod backup before you flash any mod - This will mean you can revert back to your previous status bar straight away if you do not like the mod
It will also mean you can restore your phone for any reason the mod stops your phone from booting or you have other problems
You can also restore your old status bar by extracting the SystemUI.apk in the app folder and framework-res.apk and the other unique named -res.apk in the framework folder and putting in a flashable zip and flashing it
If you do not know how to do this search for a guide to creating a flashable zip

Download the file either for full or semi transparent icon zip and place on sd card
Go into cwm
Go to mounts & mount system
Go to install zip from sd card
Go to where you downloaded the icon zip file

Copy SystemUI.apk from system/app to a folder on sd card
Change extention from apk to zip
Unzip contents
Goto res folder
Find image you want to replace in one of the folders eg status_bar.png (each rom has different names)
Replace it with png image you want but it must be named the same as image you're replacing & same dimensions and so on
Zip everything back up again & change extention back to apk
Then create a cwm flashable zip with your new SystemUI.apk

For stock you will need to provide me with your SystemUI.apk file located in system/app
You also need to be rooted

Sorry USSR V9 uses status bar greper & there's a bug in the status bar stopping the transparent pic from loading
- I'm working on it now
New way of getting transparent status bar on USSR V9 added
Should also work on any rom

Yes that's right although it doesn't work for ussrv9 as it uses status bar greper but the version it comes with has a bug which won't let you change the status bar image hense the guide to replace it with another version if you need a transparent status bar in ussrv9

Introduction:
I am proudly present my new theme!!!
Long story short:
- Even since my first android phone, which was Alcatel\Cosmote Move I liked so much TouchWiz style , but not long after ICS was release and I immediately fall in love with that black and blue style
Since then I was trying hardly to make my phone look like ICS and this will be the only reason why I made it.
- Every app has been themed in JB style, with 2 parent style as Theme.Dark and Theme.Light.
- Icons in both dark and light style.
- Volume adjust JB layouts
- Cool JB transition animation and animation speed.
- Apps such Contacts, Mms, Dialer has been moved on to another level of beauty.
- Contacts with 3 tabs used most, high quality contact photo on contact viewer, top action bar and beautifull outfit
- Settings with 4 different theme as JB, TouchWiz 5.0, LG UI 3.0 and Parandroid UI, with nice JB on/off switches.
- Apps now are using top action bar as Holo style for delete, cancel, save, rename actions.
- Notification Bar fully inspired by JB 4.2 QuickSettings Notification bar.
- Calendar with better and nicer look.
- MyFiles in white style, with back button in title bar.
- In call screen with ICS buttons layout and high quality contact photo.
- Dialer with 3 tabs used most, high quality call log, top action bar and ics layout buttons.
- Original textfield, dropdown, popup-dialog, listselector background for both styles.
- Title bars with launcher icon.
- No 3rd-party apps, everything is gingerbread Galaxy Y apps!

Bugs:
- If you find some bugs, report in comment and I'll do my best to fix it (what it can be fix) but don't jump on me: oh you...fix that...
- I've spend my last 2 months to do this, maybe is not perfect but I did my best!!!
- In statusbar on first time after reboot you have to press twice on button to take you into toggle page, and then just go normaly.
- Some popup-dialogs has black font (try to fix it)
- In Settings you can choose between 4 themes(Jelly Bean, TouchWiz 5.0, LG UI3.0 and Parandroid) and about that switches from main page doesn't work how it supposed to...if you press it send you to second screen (where you can enable) for now. I will try to make it work.

Till yesterday I have 90% JB-ed SystemUI, what left was just expandable notification, but today, a great guy helped me make that, but again permission to share not yet, and is not so stable, sometimes FC's for messaging.

How To
How to change contacts photo in SystemUI - StatusBar Greper method:
1 - Install QuickPic from Play (skip if you already have it)
2 - After installing, open StatusBar Greper, go to "StatusBar Icon Config" and there select "Carrier Image"
3 - In SD you should have a photo with resolution 76x76 pixels, not bigger not smaller (for better look). And select it.
4 - If you want to remove your picture just select a transparent one.
5 - NEVER CHANGE SOMETHING ELSE IN GREPER. IF YOU CHANGE SOMETHING ELSE WILL INTERACT WITH YOUR BATTERY IMAGE. DO IT JUST IF YOU KNOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING!
How to change contacts photo and name in SystemUI - Decompile/recompile method:
1 - Decompile SystemUI.apk
2 - Go to systemui/res/layout/status_bar_expanded_quick_settings.xml
3 - Find line 15, there you have this:

6 - After saving go to res/drawable-ldpi and edit 2 images: "my_prof_normal" and "my_prof_pressed" to whatever picture you want.
7 - Recompile SystemUI
Tips:
Your new picture should have the same size: 80x72 px don't make it bigger or smaller, and inside both picture should have 2px margin in left and right invisible.
Don't tell me that FC's or can't compile back, that means that you did something wrong. Check twice!!!
And don't ask me to do that for you, I really am not in the mood to fight with no one about this thing
