yes there's a method but you should have adb installed.
open Command Prompt on your PC and
enter the following commands. Make sure that
you press the Enter key after entering each
command line.
cd
cd android-sdkplatform-tools
adb devices
After typing the last command, you should get
some random numbers and alphabets. This means
that your device is successfully connected. Next,
enter the follow commands:
adb shell
cd /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/
databases
sqlite3 settings.db
update system set value=0 where
name=’lock_pattern_autolock’;
update secure set value=0 where
name=’lock_pattern_autolock’;
update system set value=0 where
name=’lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’;
update secure set value=0 where
name=’lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’;
.quit
all done remove the usb

Restore phone to factory default settings
Restoring your phone can be useful if you lend out the phone or just want to restore your phone to factory default settings and delete all user data, such as contacts, messages, and downloaded games.
To reset the phone to factory default settings:
1.From the Home screen, tap the applications bar.
2.Tap Settings > SD card & phone storage > Factory data reset.
3.Tap Reset phone.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/phones/detailed/backupandrestorets/xperiax10?cc=gb&lc=en
EDIT: You can also use the SE Companion to Repair you phone but make sure you always back up your phone.
Hey,
Apparently, it seems like you had enabled the pattern lock on your phone, but were not able to remember it. After 5 tries, it locked you out and asked you for your password. If that is what happened, try this:
Write in your email, "[email protected]"
and make your password: "null"
.
See if that works. You won't need to hard reset the phone if it works, and I don't think the phone can be hard-reseted via hardware.

Yeah, but it seems like he is locked out of the phone until he bypasses the screen lock, so that probably won't work in this case.

yes bro i try to many time also my frnd account tooo but no success my bed luck
The Null system works,
What you need to do is enter into the username box the google account you registered to the phone (To use the Market etc) Then your password is null this will unlock the phone for you.
Its a known fault with the recovery system were it will not recognise your password, Just not known of much these days with 1.6 been old now.
If you cant remember your password then your only option is to plug into SEUS and repair the phone.
Guys, guys..
1. Go to www.omnius-server.com register and download omnius
2. Fire it up and enter your username and password in settings
3. Connect phone end of cable into handset (handset switched off)
4. Select x10 from handset drop down list
5. Select unlock from top options in Omnius
6. Hold back button on Handset and connect PC end of cablee to PC/Laptop.

recovery password after multiple failed attempts on pattern unlock

Hey Guys.
A friend of mine tried to unlock my phone and made multiple failed attempts and choose some option which now have resulted in the phone being BLOCKED. it is not showing the "normally available option" of logging in via the gmail account. It is asking for a recovery password. I have no idea what that password is as i never set such a password. I have tried all my accounts on the phone. i tried 0000 and 00000000 aswell for the default passwords but of no avail. The screen shows "Recovery password required to unblock phone".
When i give a wrong password it says "Incorrect recovery password. All data will be wiped in line with security policy". As i dont want to do this i turn off my phone and upon restarting it this happens again. I tried removing the battery for sometime.Keeping the phone turned off etc but nothing positive.
Any suggestions on a workaround or what might the password be?

Hey,
never heard s.th. like that before.
but u said unlock? So it's from an Provider and u maybe have some sheets at home with infos and so on (like number, pin, puk etc.) maybe also a recovery passwort or kind of it is written?
PS: u also kann try 1234 1235 o kind of it.... but dunno what happend if to often typed... maybe u really loose data so better have a look first or call provider, maybe the service can help
CHEERS
This is the exact same setup as a stolen phone will show . So best advice is return the phone to the network/phone supplier who should be able to reset on evidence of purchase .
Incorrect recovery password. All data will be wiped in line with security policy
Means a security policy has been set up by the owner of the phone .
In case of a stolen phone or such symptoms XDA cannot get involved in workarounds that may be illegal .
jje
Guys its my own phone no stolen thing. it is not on a network. The guy was trying to unlock it and made too many tries with it.
Regarding the policy, i did have my exchange account setuped on the phone which required the pattern lock in the first place. May it had such a policy but i am not aware of that. So any wild ideas?
Regarding unlocking i didnt say "unlock". i said "unblock". this unblock thing has nothing to do with the network unlocks.

I also noticed this bug on 6.9.9, not after reboot but after restoring the TWRP backup which was taken a day before.. unfortunately there is no "Forgot Password" option, what i did is deleted the "gatekeeper.pattern.key", in your case you have to delete the "gatekeeper.password.key", you can delete both, nothing will happen, u have to set you passwords again, thats it. :highfive:
You can acess it, with TWRP's file manager in the following path...data>system (make sure your system is Mounted)
And Please dont forget to hit Thanks
will try

google aroma file manager, download the zip, and flash it in stock recovery... and you can do that from there,
or you can just unlock your bootloader unofficialy, req for locking permission, and again unlock it via official method, everything is just same.

HELP Locked out of device

I was flashing the new small eui rom. It flashed perfectly however I cannot get past the leeco sign up or register screen. It says my phone number is assosiated with this phone and asks me to enter my password. The problem is I never created a password for it. When I press forgot my password I get an error that tells me I cannot reset my password from this screen.
When I go on my computer to the website to reset my password it tells me they will send a verification code to my phone to reset. The problem is, I cannot get to my text messages due to having no way to bypass the screen.
Is there anyway I can reset my password somehow to bypass the screen?
I still have access to twrp.
Thank you
If you don't need access to the data on the phone, wipe all besides storage and re install small eui.
But before you do anything, create a backup with TWRP!
I tried that and that didnt work. I read that it is based on your IMEI.
I did figure it out though. I put my sim card into my wifes phone. Reset the password via SMS verification using her phone, then I was able to reset the device.

Can you provide more details on how you solved it if someone else run into such issue? Is your wifes phone same model? How can you request to reset password?
You don't need another device if you have this problem. You can just install one of the non-eui custom roms like Lineage, or one of the older eui roms that allow you to skip the leeco account log in step, and get the text that way.

By me putting my sim card in my wife's phone I am able to receive SMS from my number on her phone.
Once I put the card in, I went on the computer and reset my password via SMS, so the sms went to my wife's phone. I got that code and was able to reset my password through my computer.

Samsung FRP lock SM-G925F

Hello everyone,
My S6 Edge is FRP locked because of a hard reset via the standard recovery.
Now is my question, how can I get rid of the FRP lock?
I've already tries multiple things, like:
- Flash a custom recovery (Can't because of RL lock (Reactivation Lock))
- Install factory binary to try a new method (Can't because there's no binary for my binary security level: RP SWREV: B:6 K:2 S:2)
- Install a stock rom with USB debugging enabled (Doesn't work, because for some reason ADB commands do not work...)
Hope you can help me!

But no, I don't have access to ky device. Only the configuration screem which you get when your phone comes new out of the box or after a factory reset.
Within the configuration screen I can't go any further than login of the Samsung account. Because it won't let me login
I need a way to bypass this, otherwise I will not be able to use my phone anymore...

So you know your credentials but the phone refuses to accept it? If so, open Google on your PC and type in Samsung - Find my mobile. Log into your account, choose your S6 and select Unlock Reactivation lock. Make sure that the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
If you forgot your Samsung credentials click reset password on the login screen (on your PC) and repeat the steps above.
Hope it helps

I just checked your claims and I don't see an option to disable FRP on my S6 edge using Google's method. It can erase and lock the device but it doesn't have the power to disable FRP. On the other hand Samsung's find my phone site has the FRP disable button. I wish to point out again that the phone explicitly asked for the Samsung account. If it wanted Google's info it would have asked. I could be wrong but I'm just saying what I'm seeing.

Yeah I know it's asking for Samsung account. But FRP lock is down to google. Remove Google account = FRP lock disabled. FRP lock and reactivation lock are different. If he can't get passed Samsung account the very easiest way is to just reset Samsung account credentials.

Aha, okay then, sorry for the misuse of words. But still in a nutshell FRP and Reactivation lock are the same thing. Both still block the circumvention of the stock ROM if it's enabled. I think that the author of this topic meant to say Reactivation lock tbh

I've done that already a long time ago. But simply resetting my Samsung account password isn't going to cut it.
My phone has been reset via the standard Samsung recovery menu. After that the phone boots up like it's totally new.
So you have to go through the configuration menu for the phone.
At the part where I have to fill in my Samsung account credentials it fails to advance because of Samsung's FRP lock which I still haven't been able to bypass.

But if you are entering the correct details then it should pass the reactivation lock. So long as you use the same Samsung account you had logged in before you reset. So if you reset the credentials for that account you should be able to log in and pass the lock after.
