I think you need to format (wipe) the cache partition (via stock recovery).

How?ADB won't recognize the phone,factory reset have no efect,have download mode only.

The same problem. The solution is the replacement of the electronic Board in the service center. The cost in Russia from 60 USD.
Sorry, I can't remember how the other guy got it to work.

got a problem with mine today aswell. tried some bootloader unlocking methods. all the sudden my phone screen didnt want to turn on. i cant turn the phone of. takes out the battery and put it in black screen, my pc recognize it but cant do anything. no adb nor flash to stock or anything. ig i plug it in and take out the battery it turns the screen on with a no battery warning. put it back the computer recognize it as a harddrive but nothing else. just a black screen :/ have to take mine back tomorrow.

yeah feels like ive tried everything.
but my computer doesnt recognize my phone in that matter.
and since i cant get into download mode or recovery nor adb i cant get the computer to find the phone in the right way.
something got really messed up somewhere.
i think becouse i dont have an external sd.

Hi everybody, i need your help, yesterday i had a problem with mateo's unofficial cm10.1, after a reboot the phone freezes at LG logo, and if i try to get into the recovery it doesnt work cause it is writtene in the bottom "E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command" and i do not have any button to select. So i try to go in SW Upgrade Mode but the pc is not able to recognize my phone like always did, i installed latest version of drivers but no way. In Lg mobile support tool doesnt work (look to te attached file). Any help?? :'(

But you get to S/W Upgrade Mode or not? If yes try diffrent computer too.
I am able to go in SW upgrade mode, but after 2-3 minutes the phone get off, i think the battery is out, is it possible? How can i charge it? The charge from phone turned off doesnt work in my last rom

I think in that case you would need another working device to charge your own battery.
Currently bought a sch-i905 4g lte verizon galaxy tablet.
Boots normally, and functions.
Last night i was writing a bootloader through odin, and accidently had auto reboot checked. I was unable to write the modem/kernel that goes with it and now have a galaxy tablet that boots into the OS just fine.
The problem now is though that i can not get my tablet/computer to communicate in download mode it says "waiting for cable"
as well as my recovery is a black screen of doom.
Through rom manager when boot the tablet up i can see that clock work is installed just not boot properly..
I need some help here guys since this is outside my knowledge of fixing.
i can boot into the android OS, but when i charge it while its on it wont actually charge, the X is over the battery, but if i leave it off i can charge it just fine.

Just try to Flash stock firmware of your region again.
This may fix your problem...as m nt sure jst give it a shot.!!

unfortunately when i use download mode, it only shows "waiting for cable" no matter what pc, what driver, and what cable i use.
If i boot into normal android, the drivers load fine, i can transfer files etc . just cant recognize it in download mode.
so without recognition from download mode,
a blanked/blacked out recovery mode
im not sure how to fix it.

IS your tab rooted...if yes then Try flashing stock firmware usin Mobile odin pro...

I was originally rooted, but no longer am as i made the errors in the process of returning to stock.
I have super user, but the binary isnt there so i know im not rooted anymore.
that was another option i tried as well.
exactly what are you are trying to do where it says "waiting for cable"????
and you may also got to ty hard reset for your device!!!

Im attempting to use download mode to restore my tablet to stock, fix download mode, and fix recovery. and also fix my charging issue while the tablet is turned on.
download mode just wont recognize anything. simply says "waiting for cable"

its under my impression that hard reset will not fix download mode or recovery mode.
well, i did a factory reset, and now my tablet just goes to the samsung tablet 10.1 and still boots up with an ALL BLACK screen.
once its completely turned on, I can hit the power button to dim it, then i hit the power button and all is well im back to android os.
now you've fixed my battery charging issue while my tablet is on, so i am forever grateful.
Next 2 things to fix:
Download Mode & Recovery

so reset fixed my battery charging issue
but download mode does not recognize on any pc i try it on still
and if i boot into recovery its just a completely blank lit screen.

You would Consider using tha framaroot app....if ur luck runs you may be able to root your device..

I'm using v40 of temasek unofficial cm11, Boefflea version 11 kernel.
while I was using my phone, the phone suddenly went into a reboot and started the boot-loop, even when I pull the battery out and put it back in it starts booting immediately and goes into the boot-loop , whenever I try to go into download mode or recovery mode, once or twice I will be able to reach it, but 3 seconds in, it restarts and goes into the boot loop again (I can't choose between restarting or going into download mode)
would a USB jig help me getting into the download mode or will it be 3 seconds in and restarts?
would a service center help me retain my data as I need them?

momentarily I've managed to be able to access download mode and the laptop started making a sound trying to identify the device, too bad the battery fell off (or the phone restarted) lol

If the phone starts the moment a battery is inserted then usually the power button is stuck -try giving it a wiggle, or get it replaced.

for some awkward reason, I found out that once I pull out the battery I can use download mode
what should I download?
I tried flashing CWM but I get back to the bootloop ... should I install a newer bootloader?
No, bootloader is irrelevant to firmware. You would be best to flash a full stock rom with odin then factory reset and see if it will boot. I would suspect the power cycling may have caused partition problems if recovery got wiped.

which would mean I would lose all the data in the previous cm11 right?
I'm trying my best to flash a recovery but I think it got wiped for good.. I'm trying to flash it over and over again .. (I unplug the battery once I'm in download mode to prevent the sudden restart) .. before I flashed the CWM through odin I was able to go into a glimpse of a recovery mode, now I can't seem to see it at all...
is there a way to just copy the data (mostly pictures) through odin or adb with my phone current state?

going back to stock rom didn't fix the issue. can't access anything yet.

if anyone is reading this, I've been looking everywhere for a stock rom with pit file, I think that's the problem I'm facing since I have different bootloaders and different modes, somewhere around that I jacked my partitions and I think this would help putting it all back
I've found ones for android 4.1 but nothing of 4.3 .. since I came from 4.3 stock rom and then 4.4 kitkat temasek I think 4.1 won't help me at all
time to go to a service center I guess.
OK this is weird...
after I gave up I put my phone on a recover firmware that for some bizarre reason brought it back to life!!! I just put the phone back and left .. 5 hours later it was on and working.. I was able to access the phone for a brief moment.. but for some reason again I wasn't able to get the touch screen to work... I was able to raise the volume.. restart the phone.. but nothing on touch screen..
then it went back to the dead state...
any ideas?

Hello. I need really help and faster becouse I am shoc... :X I just want to flash custom revocery and phone has been brick. It's showing purple screen with WatchDog error... When I remove and insert battery phone not turning on. Try to Hard reset not working. Try to go in to download mode not working, but when I connect to PC its showing and drivers are install, but folders... it's only two folders. What to do? The varanti is gone, phone was rooted but I think not unlocked bootloader becouse I have rooted phone with towelroot. Plz hellp faster :crying:

I have Root that phone using towelroot. After one month used I try to flash custom recovery and when the phone restart it's show purple screen WatchDog some error like in photo. And I Just reinsert battery, and now not turn on, can't go in downlaod mode, can't go in recovery. When i plug in to pc in the pc all drivers are install and showing two folders witch in the phone. Phone restarts and go into recovery mode, but now I can see "android guy" with description: ‘Preparing to system update’ but screen is turning off and on. I try to restart it hard reset and normal /remove battery, sim, sd/ still the same:/ I have cm 13, twrp 2.8.7, [bootloader][patched][5.0.2], gapps pico I have it all from this forum tutorials.
What can I do?? It was working good and I just click on automatic update(

the same thing happend to me.. You have to go back to stock using lg flash tool if you have used your sd card as phone storage you will lost all your data.

it didnt see phone When power is on, I can see the connection to pc noise and in safety disconnect option there is "LGE Android phone" but in my pc window nothing appears, than when I use (I downloaded LGUnitedMobileDriver_Ver_3.11.3.exe) LG flash tools the 'read phone info' and 'LG mobile support tool' dont see phone What can I do?
You have to put your phone to download mode in order to see by lg flash tool. take same time and searching you will find the way. your phone isn't brick for sure.
