After building AOSPAL, I decided to build Omni. I will cherry-pick awesome features to Omni like Pie, Floating Windows, Lockscreen Notifications and other useful features. I am also planning to build with SaberMod toolchain.
Build 1: Untouched Omni - Built from sources of 17 July - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567714370
Build 2: I cherry-picked Omni Floating Windows, if you want to enable that go to Settings/More/Tick "App circle bar". When you want to open an app in floating window touch to right edge of your phone, app circle bar will appear. Long press an app and select float view. If you want to add more apps to app circle bar, go to Settings/More/Included Apps and select which apps do you want to see in app circle bar. - Built from sources of 17 July - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567714603
Build 3: I cherry-picked Lockscreen Notifications, if you want to enable that go to Settings/Security/Lockscreen/Notifications and tap to Enable. - Built from sources of 17 July - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567714653
I was looking for omni with those features!! :good:
Looking forward into this Rom.
Thanks
Thanks man! Gonna give it a spin later on! :highfive:

According to molesarecoming, tablet UI may have been axed all together so don't be too hopeful about that. On the bright side, one of these ROMs are sure to bring some option to move the navigation buttons to a side.

That just sounds like Google is trying to get away from it. Regardless, good to hear that it's there for people who prefer the tablet UI.
Running AOKP on my S3 and N7 looking forward to seeing it on my N10 next.

3rd image is tabUI, all snaps were made on 4.2 aosp. needs some more work (as you can see, it hovers over the bar, alignment is weird, quicktoggles are missing, statussymbols are too small --- all because google has abandoned the UI) but once its out all roms can take it.
If task brings his awesome work here, I'm definitely buying the N10, he's kept my sgsii relevant

Hey guys, as we all have probably seen the epic new pie feature on ParanoidAndroid and been jealous, questioning, "why didn't i just get a nexus 4". well guess what, you don't need one. This launcher runs in the background and gives you the options for gestures and pie control, ALL ON SENSE (or any other rom). You can change the colors of pie, the position and it's amazing imo. This is not my work just wanted to let other people know about it in case they also have been very jealous of this feature. Here is a link to the thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150

Must say I was a bit skeptical, but this works very well from my experience so far. Plus it has a metric s**t-ton of options. I love options.
It is a nice app but is too difficult to set up for me. I am now using Button Savior Non Root for now. It doesn't require root to run and is easier to setup up IMO.

Why would this require root ? There's apps that do something like this and doesn't require root...hopefully they update it

It worked right away for me... you have to slide your finger in from the edge of the display, like in the pie feature from the labs for the browser app, or Windows 8.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
Maybe I just dont have enough experience with this app ut it looked like the pie stuff was on the lock screen. How do you enable that?
I dusted off my G-NEX and loaded up PA to check out the pie. The pie is cool but I didn't really like that it removes the notification bar too.
I've loved LMT on the DNA though. It's been pretty slick so far.

| About Odyssey: |
Odyssey is a simple clean and smooth rom with the basic features but none of the over the top extras.I feel as though a lot of custom roms take it to far and have so much to them that we can't use it all. We all love extras but there is a line that a lot of custom roms cross that seem to make them a little less user friendly. So we've created Odyssey. We will of course add lots more to this rom based on demand from users But all the while continuing down the path of simplicity. I plan on rapid releases and full support for this . I hope you all enjoy it..

Disclaimers are important and also easy to forget about, so lets make this one memorable.
You are 100% responsible for taking the risk & voiding your warranty to flash custom ROMs.
In the case of this ROM, if you brick, hurt, break, get grounded, violated, put in the doghouse,
or ANYTHING at all while flashing this ROM...........
The same applies. NOT our fault.
Yours
Not OURS.
YOURS.
Enjoy.
