I was upset when I got my phone yesterday and found out the phone does not support wireless charging out of the box.
After some research, seems like everything is there as far as on the hardware side, minus the compatible back battery cover. The asian variant of the G3 does have wireless charging but the pin layout on the phone is slightly different so it won't work with our phones.
Has anyone heard differently or is there a compatible wireless charging back cover that anyone has found yet? Coming from the Droid DNA with wireless charging, I'm a bit spoiled with it and don't want to give it up.

I don't understand all the fuss about wireless charging. With that being said my g3 looked as if it came with a back cover setup for wireless charging.

What if we don't want the Circle Case, is there any other way to support this? Guess I'm glad I bought extra batteries and a charge, my hopes of topping it off on my night stand at night are crushed tho. Lame.

I'm with you on liking the Gameboy one, but the 8bot controller has it's own cool factor. As to anyone asking about it working with the at&t, it appears it would, the front will not cover the buttons and the spen / volume / power are the same place on both versions.

I ordered a holster from this ebay seller. He dosen't list it as fitting the ATT version of the note because they don't sell it there. But the case that came with the holder fit perfectly! It took 2 weeks to get to me in Toronto.

Thats an awesome timeline. However I think I picked a different vendor, I just picked the cheapest I saw since they are all coming from the same region and made in the same factory. Usually I order 3-5 cheap things when I get something from overseas so I forget about hat one order from HK that surpises me a month later and makes me say "OH YEA! I forgot about this!" Now lets find a game gear case.

Yea I will rarely use it, but sometimes there comes a time when a bigger case just isnt practical. Plus you its good to have a backup. I've broken otterbox commuters on more then one occasion.

anybody know of a source for a soft silicone jelly-type shell for the Optimus G yet? I see nothing on Amzer and I've checked Aliexpress as best I can too. Not TPU-type plastic, please. TPU is hard and crack/crush-resistant, but I've had much better success with soft, flexible shock-absorber type shells on my Androids and Blackberries over the last 5+ years..

The LS970 and E970 are the same layout, the only difference would be the SD+SIM card slot on the E970, but you really don't want that open and exposed anyways right? It cost me a whopping $7 with shipping so we'll see if it does the job.
Best Buy had a case labeled Optimus G. I asked their employee which model it was for and he said ATT. I opened it and put my phone in and there was no way it would fit. ATT version is definitely wider.

That seems to be the crux of the problem - The Spring version and the international version are identical in size so you can use almost any case interchangeably. The AT&T version is slightly wider and rather different from that "norm". Unless there's enough interest, it doesn't seem like anyone is in a hurry to make a decent case for this phone.

Same thing happened to me, heard about another guy that ordered a case form ebay and it didn't fit either.. even though ti claimed it was for AT&T e970.
Can't complain about the phone being wider, AT&T needs that space for the slots that the other versions don't have!
For the new design note 3 leather battery cover, if there is a need to arm a s view flip cover for note 3 ? ROCK released new S View flip cover yet have no idea if their case do good as before...

True, but it doesn't make them worth it and with any 50% off promo code that price keeps you from getting it at the 50% off discount.
I know that thet S3 quick view covers were around 60 bucks, but sometimes the phone comes with a little voucher that gives you a big discount on an accessory on samsung's website if you register your phone with them. I'm going to see if it works on the s-view cover when the phone is released.

You can get similar S-view case from eBay. Some cheap cases made in China. I ordered one and should get it maybe on 9/24-26 just in time for my GN3

I heard back from Spigen on the Slim Armor View for the GN3, the answer is NO. So if you really want this case as much as I do then you need to let Spigen know about it. They already have the Slim Armor so adding a front can't be that hard, they did it for the GS4. They need to hear from us and I suggested they put up a poll, ask the community, visit this site and other Android sites.

I ordered this battery on Nov 8 and recieved it today! After opening the package I installed it. It was at 58% upon install. I continued to charge it for approximately 5hrs untill it finally reached 100%. I then continued charging for another hour. I finally unplugged it and started using it as I always do. Let me tell you from 100% to 80% which im at now. Well here ill let the screenshot speak for itself! For $25.99 im a believer!
Update Nov 15: I have a white note 3. Anker doesnt make a white battery cover for the note 3, so I called Hyperion. I asked if I could purchase their white battery cover for the note 3. It looked identical to the Anker cover. The guy I spoke to said "Unfortunately we do not sell just the covers, but I can send you one at no charge!" I thanked him very much.
Well I recieved the package today and in it were 2 white battery covers. I removed the black one and replaced it with the white one. Perfect fit!

Well N3 has a good battery life and there is no such any issue of battery drain....but the battery you have mentioned is also nice one....I have used anker batteries earlier also and I like them...Anker batteries are nice one to use...but right now with my N3 no issue of the battery drain..so for present I would not like to go up with such product as that would also make me to purchase a separate case for it....and which I believe will surely hit the look of my N3 which I love the most....

Very true the N3 comes with a great battery. I am 6'3" tall and have big hands so the little extra bulkiness and weight feels much better for me. But other than that heres another screen shot. Still on the first charge.

Awesome!! I now have 2 of them. My first order my battery cover was scratched up so I called to see if they could send me a new cover. They sent me a whole new package. Battery and cover!

I continued to charge it for approximately 5hrs untill it finally reached 100%. I then continued charging for another hour. I finally unplugged it and started using it as I always do. I was really wanting one in white carbon fiber, but I'm open to suggestions. I've considered the Baseus(sp?) door, but not crazy about the silver stripes near the top and bottom. Haven't seen any pics other than Amazon though, so I might actually like it. If anyone has one in white, please post some pics of it. From what I've seen on Amazon, reviews are saying that most of the white carbon fiber doors are about twice as thick as the Samsung door, and won't fit in cases.
So, who all has an aftermarket battery door? Some recommendations and pics would be greatly appreciated!

All the "carbon" back plates are nothing more than textured plastic. There are no carbon fiber replacement covers. I don't think it's possible to mold carbon fiber into something as intricate as a battery cover. There are however bulky cases with carbon accent. I'd love to buy a real carbon battery cover too. There just aren't that many good looking battery covers available. I haven't found anything that looks better than the stock cover. I had the same problem with my S3.

Fat fingers... Facepalm.
It's not much thicker than stock but I like it.
Seems to be slightly more "grippy" than stock back. Definitely thicker though but has not caused any problems with cases for me.

i have found many color ones on ebay and even amazon. I want the oem blue samsung one that they show back at an even. But of course they dont seem to make them for resell.

Please review about thickness when you receive yours, I would like to know if these will create complications when using a case with them, I know it is counterintuitive.

I surely will.
And I do believe these are thinner or the same thickness as the oem ones.
The ones that are glossy look thicker but this look thin.

I got the Mario in.
It's the same thickness as the oem. It feels different tho but it has textures.
My girl is using it and added it to her bumper case she likes it alot.

These are the oem cover from samsung, not sure if this is the blue you are looking for, the link in gmarket gives a bettery look at the colour.

What color is "SAMSUNG" on your white door? It looks gray, but I've only seen it chrome. I'd much rather have it in gray, like my Sprint battery door, instead of chrome!
In my opinion, the Sprint battery door looks better than ALL of the others, even the standard Samsung battery door! I wish it there were more of the Sprint battery doors available for sell. I've seen them on eBay before, but they're priced much higher than the standard door, and every other carrier's doors.

Ebay only has the metal backs which I don't want and it's not the same.
I can find some good red and green ones just not blue.
It's normally a light blue easter looking colors. But nothing dark blue tho.

My white cover has the word samsung in gold, i have the rose gold white phone, its the default cover that came with the phone.

Samsung hong kong has a metalic blue, very similar to your photo, this is the official one im talking about, not a fake one.
Ive tried it on my phone, rose gold rim with metalic blue gives my phone a cyber look.
