Over Smoothing
I'm seeing over smoothing of many photos. It's not consistent and I don't know what to make of it. If I take a picture of my carpet and do a 100% crop, I find much less detail than what I think I should be seeing for a 13MP camera. It looks great at the 30% zoom. I want to take a few more pictures and I'll post it. Didn't get a chance to do that today. But my real concern are the portraits. Most of those (front and rear camera) are over smoothened with the result that some of those come out looking like pastel images. I don't like to post personal images on the web, so I won't do that. But I'm wondering if any one else has noticed it. I have read rave reviews of the camera and it's not looking all that great to me.
Of the pictures posted here, Osseon's second picture of the dog (http://i.imgur.com/ExCzjaO.jpg) is excellent. I'm seeing that on some images. Like this one I took http://i.imgur.com/cLN1xDE.jpg which looks great. But there are so many others that are bad (when zoomed in at 100%).

Ok so at my job there doing this contest and winner gets a samsung vibrant.. i already have one but if i can get another one for free why not. All i have to do is guess this mountain. any ideas?? I attached the picture.

Just got around to taking some pics after a week of owning the Note. The camera shows a bright and saturated live view but the resulting picture looks dull and drabby. It's like night and day.
I've tried every setting possible. Anybody else get this problem?

That's a speedtest. Not a benchmark. Benchmarks are taken with Quadrant and Antutu.

I ran with the performance governor, I also changed the scheduler and tweaked that. Don't know how much credit goes to each.
Oh okay I ran with performance but didn't mess with the scheduler so maybe it did help

I'm sure is coming soon. This app was made for iphones long ago. Its called movie box and they just decided to make this one for us android users. IPhone version have every season of every show. So let's just give him time to work with it.

Scanned it with two different android security apps and both deemed it safe. I also scanned it with my desktop antivirus/malware software and it passed. You can probably question the ethics related to this app but nothing appears to be malicious.
