This rom ROOT_JDQ39.I527MVLUBNA3.tar by @krazykipa is the only really good working NA3 stock rom which is rooted already and is a roger's rom, but the rogers stuff can be removed if that is not your carrier as it is just a couple of items only i believe to remove, this rom should work for you, but if the phone has been update to the new kk NE5 rom then this rom most likely will not work for you...just unpack it first after download is complete and then use odin to flash it.

Hi..check my post here and flash the rom in that post as that is a NA3 stock rogers rom and it is also rooted already, just unpack it after you download it and flash it with odin and you should be go to go after that.

Thanks for the link. So it doesn't matter which one I use? Even though I'm on 4.4.3?
If I'm on rooted stock ROM with custom kernel, what's the best way to update to 5.1.1 without a wipe?
odin

I ended up using the Smart Switch to revert to stock. Stock apparently doesn't have an update for me, so I tried to Odin the latest XEU version. However Odin won't see my phone
Im running a sm-g900t1 but we've not got the update yet but Im thinking it would be fine if I flashed the sm-g900t update. Am I wrong? Also could i just flash the modem and firmware and use a custom lollipop rom?

You can flash the entire tmo firmware. You'll just have tmo Bloat instead of metro.

I am not sure if the rom you use is using the latest base.
If that is the case, the BTU/XEU has not updated yet... you can use XEF which is the French version. That has latest base and should flash.

Thank you will try
Also you don't reported which Odin version you was using. you need Odin 3.13.1 to flash Oreo firmware.
And you can't downgrade the bootloader. So you need to flash a stock Rom with same or newer bootloader like already installed.
Don't be afraid to hit the "Thanks" button if someone helped you. It don't hurts

I used the latest odin and now just trying to find the latest firmware , I'm downloading XEF the French firmware that the previous comment mentioned
I would use the stock firmware with the manufacturer CSC of the device.
And there is a log window in Odin that shows logs of the flash process. There showing often useful informations. So next time make a screenshot with this logs and post it here
