qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 The only problem is the soft keys are a little large.
Thanks for sharing this rom. I was already running it and I was going myself to open a thread to tell everybody a 4.4 miui was out:laugh:
Btw, everything works good (4.7.13 release) but calendar sync did not work until I replaced the calendar provider from the latest cyanogenmod (strange, since the files look pretty the same) and no calendar app was preinstalled.
Gapps work fine too.
Root must be enabled inside the apposite app.
The miui mail app does not like my exchange account and force closes, though it can actually sync and download the incoming mails, so I replaced it with the standard google 4.4.4 mail app.
Regarding the rest, the user experience is smooth and battery does not look to drain so fast.
Just a tip, if you use lmt launcher, you have got to enable pop-ups.

Working quite well. I'm wondering if anyone has luck with alternative kernel. I ran AGNI Stock and makes it to the MI screen and seems to be doing "something" but i gave up after 5 mins waiting.

I thought this rom was CM based shouldn't you be using the AGNI pureCM kernel instead?
Yes sorry my earlier note was not complete. I;ve used latest CM with non-wifi choice and its now OK. Earlier 2.8.1 R2 version did not work for me.
I flashed this ROM today... I really like it, but want to like MIUI more than I do.
Overall it's a very clean, stable ROM that has some great features. The customization is awesome and I love the look.
There are a few things that are deal breakers for me that may not be as much so with others.
-no group messaging
-the weather widget ( temperature ) shows C° not F° & I couldn't find any way to change it.
-all themes, ring tones, and a few other things are in Chinese which makes it very hard to navigate through for someone who doesn't speak the language.

Yeah. It can't lock. You must change it each time when you reboot. I will ask other developers how to deal with it. And then I will fix it.

call record doesn't work on CM based ROM.
Sound during calls is very low in cm based.

I installed everything (rom+gapps) in one step before rebooting. Maybe because of that?
Another issue:the keyboard doesn't show any suggestion word. Do you know why?? .
The rom is the smoothest with bluetooth audio and video recording working. The best for me.

Very good job. I'm leaving AOKP to test your AOSP. I saw the changelog and is very complete.
I enjoy the performance and consumption of RAM. The recording of HD video smoothly. Screen transitions as well.
Unlock face does not. I did not understand that the USB on the go, working? because there is anything in the changelog. I will take the test and report later.

Extremely smooth and fast Rom,with amazing battery life...i unplugged the charger at 97%,and after 7 hours,i still have 97%.Also about 200 mb of free RAM. But there is still something missing to be real AOSP: on-screen buttons. What about an onscreen buttons addon?
@georgeiulian89 on screen buttons are more nexus's than aosp feature

Installed as you said, now its asking for SIM network unlock PIN, my phone is unlocked, if i just cancel that, its working but is there a way not to see that screen???

The first ROM from China is MIUI if you don't know
What about rotation animation? USB and WiFi tethering? Does this work?
why does it contain a boot.img into zip? is it for CM recovery?

It's not BootMenu Manager compatible. U should use bootstrape or safetrape to install it.

A question though - You wrote that gapps are included. I can't locate neither Play Store nor GMail. I'm not very familiar with MIUI though. Is it missing or am I doing something wrong?

How much time do you expect? The first start up, it takes quite a long time ...Did you expect enough?
Well, you did a full data / factory reset + wipe dalvik + format system processes before install?

i built this rom for a friend of mine and once it booted we decided to keep this project alive (it was about 2 weeks ago) and yes that is the deal to fix bugs

(Little bit of choice governor [interactive only], I / O schedulers are only 3 base [noop, deadline, cfq]).
So, we can use a different kernel?

@JulianJenner AOSP base author @mikegapinski prepared kernel for this miui, basically miui needs some extra stuff in kernel to boot, so there is not many compatibile ones i think you have to try yourself

two questions: does anybody know name of the app which suppose to fix proximity sensor? and second question / request to developer: can you pls add miui weather app (with bz weather app from market it works and thanks for that all miui clock widget can support weather)
edit: one more request: camera app doesn't seem to have option to save photos on external sd card - can you add such a functionality?
other than that all seems work fine, many thanks for great new miui rom

It's not about fixing proximity sensor - it will not work. All you can do is to get an app which will turn the screen off during calls so you don't reject while you're talking over the phone.

Maybe Proximity Sensor Finder.apk - not work
I'll try Proximity Screen Off Pro v5.3 for manual on-off... - not work
The screen stays ON. Through during the phone call.

Done wipe before installation and waited 10 - 15 min but nothing happened...

No problem as far as i am concerned bcoz i have been flashing p760 everyday and there is no diff between both except nfc...

I added that line but still no root permitions :/ im doing some research to fix the problem as soon as I can

the user s3 mini reported the bug but i never had it :/ why dont you do a backup of your current rom and try this one?
and I must remind everyone that this rom only have english and portuguese translations! so if you're not portuguese, please choose the default english language

I see, well that's a shame, but at least you've succeeded in building
Although, there's a basic rule on sharing ROM's, at least it was when I started developing: you should only make a post or thread of your ROM, when it is uploaded and reachable by anyone.

Hi, my ROM is ready, the last bug in final version is "error status 7". After fixed the bug, I upload the rom on my mega or onedrive.
