force stop the downloads app then reboot if the issue still exists
if it does then check the settings under the downloads app
hit that thanks meter and tell i helped you happy to help.
B)
what do you mean by "the downloads app" ? where is it to stop forced it ?
it's about cleaning all the past junk that been loged for some reason ...and every download i make or update.. it shows them all the list (all the files i d/l in the past) again ...
I have the same problem. You must move your downloaded files to other folder, then delete downloads in downloads app.
ok ...
i forced close and disable the DOWNLOAD APP from setting- apps - all
buy now i can' load the "google play store" ...it's saying "cannot star because the download manager has been dissable"
...

wipe cache trough recovery (if you have one installed on your phone)
and delete this folder using root explorer: /data/local/download/
(found the answer using the following keywords in the search tool : "market data download" ) here on 7th july post (ok maybe hard to find yourself, i knew the answer was in this specific thred )
Thanks but still is not working :S
http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif did you wipe dalvik cache too? under advanced in recoverymode? when you reboot your phone you should open the market and keep it open for 2 min (did work for me). also try to deregister and register gtalk. hope this helps
where is the option for the deregister ?
go to the market -> help articles -> android apps -> Troubleshooting -> Troubleshooting download issues. Do what is written There. So wipe dalvik cache didn`t help? '
NOPE, how can i exit the account in the market?
Ok. go to System Settings -> Accounts and Sync: select Google account - click "remove account "
after you open The Market and you should see The "Create a Google Account Dialog"
i think i know the problem, someone said in this forum "if you delete one of the apps to go with google talk (either provider or service) market will be stuck at starting download."
and i think i deleted one of the apps.. so how can i restore it?
That is right do you now which one you deletet? I have a backup of all system apps, and if you can wait till the evening, around 6 i upload it for you to the dropbox.

ill wait till u will upload
I think you need them anyway
I create a zip with all google apps. here is the link to my dropbox:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/46218116/google apps.zip
i need to install 1 by 1 ?
re:i need to install 1 by 1 ?
if you have a rooted phone and recovery on it you can rename it to update zip go to x or cwm recovery -> install update zip ... done if not install them one by one
i installed and im trying to download and appearing this message:
" Sorry!
com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly.
Please try again."
did you reboot your phone? if it still not work make a backup of your apps and flash your rom again. I think this will be the best. we try anything
I like what Bojler wrote aboute the "Market Thing" :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19176314

Thank You for a fast answer!
all other google apps seems to work correctly - maps, youtube, play store... - does it mean that framework is correct ? how can I check this one ?
all other things You mentioned (notification, account, syc) - seems good as well - or is there way to check it more deeply than I did before ?

From the first boot itself after seting google account ...the playstore and hangout didn work....
playstore-no connection & hangout-can't connect to google....havent inserted the sim ...is that the problem??
I followed following instructions:
a. Go to Settings > Apps.
Scroll to All apps and then scroll down to “Google Play Store” app.
Open the app details and tap on the “Force stop” button.
Then, tap on the “Clear cache” button.
and reinstalled and done factory reset .....
help me plzzzzzzzzz
Just factory reset one more time.
Add your google account. Make sure you're connected to the internet.
Once the phone boots up, 1st thing you need to do is update "google play services" from play store.
Once that is done you'll be able to update all google apps.
Hope this works. All the best !
Still the same !!!

I use SKK Phoenix+ Tablet.
OS : Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
First of all i downloaded KingRoot Super User, so i root my phone. I used it to remove these system applications that i can't disable and uninstall. The virus installed several Download Manager system app to download some viruses and ads on my phone (which got me on a rampage). I had to remove all of the fake ones until i accidentally removed the original Download Manager that my phone used to download from Google Play and other sources. I downloaded a Download Manager from the internet (same OS and version as the old one) and i tried to test it out by Downloading a random game on Google Play. After several minutes, a pop-up says "android.process.media has stopped" and then Error (942) will pop-out at my Google Play. I can't post a screenshot of it because Media Storage wont work and it wont let me take pictures, download, screenshot or even view Gallery. Does anyone know how to fix this? or maybe provide me a firmware of my tablet? It would be helpful and a big thank to you all
I'm sorry, it's my first time fixing and root this tablet.
Clear ur google play data. This might work or not. And u shouldnt have deleted those stock apps.
Hi..
I have had this problem since I bought my Wifi-only LG G Pad 7 tablet (v400)*
android version 4.4.2
Here's what's going on.. When I sign in a new Google account.. I type my Email address.. Press next and then it shows loading (or the moving line) forever.. I somehow managed to sing in.. When opening Play Store it gives me all the apps and stuff.. When I press install it shows the download notification and nothing happens.. It keeps saying "downloading" forever.. It's not a WiFi issue.. Tens of Android devices I have tried on the same Wifi and they never had any of these issues..*
When I open a VPN app (Hotspot Shield) everything works as it should.. It signs in and downloads perfectly.. But I can't connect to a VPN every time I need to download/update an app.. Here's the things that I have tried so far.. BTW I tried EVERYTHING!!
1) Cleared Data and cache of Play Store and every single Google app..
2) Factory Reset the tablet..
3) Deleted the hosts file (system/etc/hosts) and tried to edit it (put # before the lines)
4) I even installed CM12.1 (two different ROMs) and different GApps.. With wiping everything .. And the same issue happened!!!
5) Tried to play a little with Market Unlocker app..*
PLEASE PLEASE give me suggestions.. I really need to solve this forever.. Thanks in advance..*
Kindly press thanks if I helped
