i hav older version of samsung tab gt-p7100 3G version its working now withe android 4.0.4 but there is no any more upgrade from samsung officially for this device. I want to upgrade my tab, can anybody tell me and help me with this. How far i know i must download ODIN softwarde i tryed this earlyer, but no success, odin is not recognising my tablet , the type of my tablet is not in the list. So can pleas anybody help me hier out

Hi - Other than using Odin, any idea how to fix my Kies issue "your device does not support software upgrading via kies"?
I've read a few tips regarding the resetting of CSC, but I don't really understand in great detail what or why. My Galaxy Ace is:
on Vodacom (South Africa). Supplied by Vodacom. I have made no firmware changes (or anything).

It's on 2.3.3. I'm hoping to upgrade to 2.3.4 via Kies.
I have downloaded the very latest Kies from samsung's site, and done a fresh install (on Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit). I get the message:
"your device does not support software upgrading via kies".
I received this phone from the network provider (Vodacom) and have not changed anything.
Please advise?

does that mean you have locked phone ??
if yes then you might need to wait for your provider to approve update and send it to you
it is not locked

Operator of my phone do not let me upgrade Ace to 2.3. My friend have no-brand Ace and he get official update to 2.3. So i have used Odin and after 2 mins i got official 2.3.4 After that i couldn't use Kies but i don't care. I don't like this software... I manage my Ace via Google. Much easier and faster
im running samsung s2 korean version and i cant manual update to ics malaysia..i has try so many time to flash it but stuck on odin when it want to finish...please help me..i dont any idea now..i have try so many firmware stock but its still cant working...can anybody give me the correct firmware,csc,kernel for malaysia user..

I bough this phone from UAE and using it in Sri Lanka. I have been waiting so long to update ICS on my phone via KIES. seems like it will not be appeared any soon. So now i want to flash my ROM and install ICS on my phone. I saw so many compatibility issues when trying to install non compatible version. Please tel me which is the best and similar ICS rom for XXKPI4 version.

well, i have a galaxy note 2 (GT-N7100) and i tried to unlock it, as it was in 4.1.2 android version i had to downgrade it and unlock it after
the operation to install 4.1.1 android version hasn't succeeded, since then the screen is like "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again"
i tried to resolve the problem by kies but in vain
I just want my phone back guys if you have a method to help me

and when i wan't to install a new firmware using odin v3, it's failing in every time and i'm downloading this firmware version : N7100XXALJ1 from the samsung updates website

Please do let me know where can i get the authentic version and how can i upgrade it. Please also let me know if the data on my phone will be safe or not.

your s2 is brilliant phone it has ics or jelly bean update i think u r ultra noob

thanks for the reply vishal. but unfortunately when i select check for update it shows connecting to server but does not go through after that.
