Hi
Recently I broke screen of my LG VU II (F200L) and I will be getting new touchscreen digitizer very soon.
I tried to find tear down tutorial or steps of this model but couldnt, so can anyone please guide before I try todo it myself and take risk of breaking something inside.
Thanks.

To cut a long story short I might need to replace the lcd and/or digitiser on an x10 mini....
I only managed to find one tutorial on how to disassemble the handset and it seemed to advise against messing with the screen set up, I just wondered whether anyone had replaced the screen or knows where I can find some information on doing so??
Thanks.
Just bumping this thread, I need to replace the wifes digitizer.
Has anyone found a guide yet?
I've found a few for the mini pro but nothing for the mini.

My Fujitsu M532's battery won't charge anymore. I have just bought a replacement tablet (Samsung Note 10.1), so I want to take it apart and see if I can replace the batteries. But I'm not able to find any instructions on the disassembly. If anyone have a guide please share. Thanks.

Hi, I'll be buying this phone used.
Other than the normal procedure like IMEI checking etc., the G5 is a modular phone what should I look for? Like busted connectors, anything in the g5 that breaks somehow sometimes?
Thanks.
There are a few faulty G5 out there! Use forum search engine for details.
Good Luck!
Hello guys,
As i mentioned in the title, i have a problem with my lg h860 variant, this problem is called ghost touch.
Someone have this problem, or any solution...i really don't know what to do, i would like to know if is a software issue or hardware, because i really don't wanna buy a new display if i am not sure about the problem.

As far as I know, ghost touch is almost always a digitizer hardware problem, but I stand to be corrected on that. Have you tried pulling the battery and leaving the phone off for a while (15+ minutes)?

I don't think you have that many options. Here are the things I would try, in order:
- Open the phone and disconnect the screen from the motherboard, then reconnect it
- Factory reset (back up the phone with LG Backup, or TWRP if you have a model that supports it)
- Replace the screen
I have a feeling that a factory reset isn't going to do much of anything, but it's worth trying before you spend money on a new screen.
Re: ghost touch
I had mine doing the same thing, I'm on a h820 however the screens weren't different amongst the variants as far as I know. Was able to get an oem replacement on Amazon for like 68$. The install wasn't all too difficult and did alleviate the ghost touch. Mine was bad bad before changing out the screen. Like it would press and hold the home button or the back button and make the phone unusable. No problems with the new screen so far.
Here's a link to the one I bought. It was two numbers off from the original one on the underside of the screen where the LG info is stamped.
Well it won't let me post the link.. Not enough posts. But it was from a US seller and said oem in the listing title.

have you tried the touch screen calibration settings?
Hello, I am looking to change my battery that has swollen.
Do you have an idea where to buy it?
AFAIK you can't buy new batteries, nor can you remove the old one unless you know exactly what you're doing.
it is removed from the phone but I can not find a seller for this item ......
aliexpress, there is a lot of stuff for our phones. i picked up the screen about a month ago, and it cost only 20$.
I also bought a screen for this phone on this site, but there is no battery ...

I have also bought a screen from AliExpress, but there are no instruction on how to replace. Do you have any kind of instructions? I can only find remove the screws on the bottom and the simcard holder, then use a prying tool between the bezel and the backplate. But this is very limited? Any advice? Ofcourse doing it is all at my own risk, but I need some help

Hi Bubu,
I can't find the video. Do you have the link or can you post the title (if a link wouldn't be allowed).
Any help is probably better that none.
A local phone shop was able to open it. Now I am removing all parts. I am currently stuck with the battery, but I expect the screen will also be a challenge. At least it seems it was at the first Swift.
Thanks,
