[Q][BEGINNER] Problem Porting ROM to my 6572 Device - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi i am a beginner in Porting ROM (or should i say completely 0) .. i have had no experience in porting or modding, but i am on my way to doing so
i have a Firefly S120 [Cubot C11] MT6572 Device with me, and i am trying to port some ROM for my phone, i'm following some TuT i found here
first i tried porting a LeWa OS v5 for Micromax A77 to my Device since they are both MT6572 Devices, so i followed the "Porting From Same SoC" Guide, after i compiled my ROM, i Got a Corrupted Boot Logo, like a line of distorted colors or so and no boot animations so i think it is bricked
second, i tried porting a Non-LeWa OS Custom ROM for Lenovo A830 so i followed the "Porting From Different SoC" Guide, after i flashed the ROM, a Lenovo Splash Screen Appeared, it tookabout 2 minutes and then i was stuck on a bootloop .. i think it has something to do with the boot.img since i didn't understand that part clearly
a friend of mine told me that my kernel was outdated and that was the reason why i am failing on my ports, but the other one told me i have the one and only kernel for Jelly Bean (v3.4.5)
so i posted this here, hoping someone can help me out where did i go wrong here .. thank you everyone :fingers-crossed:

[Help!]Allview P5 Mini Custom ROM

Hi XDA,
I got 4 months ago a new smartphone: Allview P5 Mini, running Android 4.0.4. It seems Allview isn't going to make us "happy" and make a firmware update to Jelly Bean and no developer wants to make a custom ROM for it, so I want to make my own one. The problem is that I don't really know the Java or C++ Language so I am worse than a noob.. I don't know how to start and I am very scared about my device getting bricked after I am going to root it or after I will flash the Custom ROM or Kernel. All I've "worked" on Android until now is editing the build.prop, rooting my TF101 and flashing a custom ROM and Kernel (got it bricked 4 times) and that's all ..
So again, all I need is someone helping me to start, code, edit, design, create etc. for my first Custom ROM for my Allview P5 Mini.
Thank you very much for helping me!

[REQUEST] CyanogenMod 11

Hello everyone. I have a bq Aquaris E5HD and it has a MTK SoC (mt6582). Well, I found a CM11 rom for the AndroidOne (It has the same CPU, same RAM, both are Dual Sim...) and I was wondering if someone can port it... I tried to do it but I have no idea of how to build the boot.img so... Please, I'm sure that someone knows how to do it and can help me.
I tried to port the ROM with this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-mtk-cross-platform-chipset-rom-t2925242 but I can't do the second step. I don't know how...
Here I leave the link of the ROMs if someone is too kind to do it for me...
Base ROM (deodexed): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B23v5_ZS5vBHalVPUEZMYXlEdTQ/edit (KitKat 4.4.2)
A1 CM11: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001602770 (KitKat 4.4.4)
(The links are from the original posts, not mirrored)
I will thank you so much if you can port the rom :crying:

Help Porting MTK 6592 Custom Roms into Karbonn Titanium S360(MTK 6592 SOC)

Hello respect porters. This is my first thread asking for help here as I was unsuccessful to boot any MTK 6592 Custom ROM in my Karbonn Titanium S360. I've gone through multiple porting guides but I just fail to get a successful boot. I've also tried Custom ROM's that are made for Xolo 8x-1000 which is a very similar device as mine having the same SOC by replacing certain files with my stock as mentioned in the porting guides. Tried 3 ROMS and none of them booted successfully. It would be a big help if anyone can help me in clearing this blockade of no successful boot.
I would also like to ask for help regarding creating Meta-inf manually for any ROM. :crying::crying:
Well its a easy task to port rom for this device so u should not be facing any difficulty in porting it. I have ported may mm roms for this device and they are working without bugs..

Porting Andriod 6.0 roms

Hi all
I hope I'm posting in the right section
I've a problem in SD card when porting marshmallow mediatek roms; SD card is always showing corrupted when actually it is not.
I tried to replace pq and vold inside bin from stock rom, replaced fstab in boot.img but still not working
My device is infinix hot 2 (Android one) running marshmallow and chipset is mt6580
same issue reported by a rom porter who owns Tecno w4 running marshmallow with the same chipset.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance
http://forum.xda-developers.com/hot-2/help
Thanks, but that does not help.
I already know the developers and rom porters of infinix hot 2 and we all are facing this problem, so posting there in the help section is not useful to us, beside that the problem is not device related.
I need an answer from experienced rom porter.
