Hello everyone. I have a bq Aquaris E5HD and it has a MTK SoC (mt6582). Well, I found a CM11 rom for the AndroidOne (It has the same CPU, same RAM, both are Dual Sim...) and I was wondering if someone can port it... I tried to do it but I have no idea of how to build the boot.img so... Please, I'm sure that someone knows how to do it and can help me.
I tried to port the ROM with this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-mtk-cross-platform-chipset-rom-t2925242 but I can't do the second step. I don't know how...

I'm using ZTE V791, I want port rom for zte v791, then i use Lenovo A60 Plus (It's same MTK 6575 and OS 2.3.6)

Anyone tell me the reason and how to fix it! or someone can help me port it!

Hi i am a beginner in Porting ROM (or should i say completely 0) .. i have had no experience in porting or modding, but i am on my way to doing so
i have a Firefly S120 [Cubot C11] MT6572 Device with me, and i am trying to port some ROM for my phone, i'm following some TuT i found here
first i tried porting a LeWa OS v5 for Micromax A77 to my Device since they are both MT6572 Devices, so i followed the "Porting From Same SoC" Guide, after i compiled my ROM, i Got a Corrupted Boot Logo, like a line of distorted colors or so and no boot animations so i think it is bricked
second, i tried porting a Non-LeWa OS Custom ROM for Lenovo A830 so i followed the "Porting From Different SoC" Guide, after i flashed the ROM, a Lenovo Splash Screen Appeared, it tookabout 2 minutes and then i was stuck on a bootloop .. i think it has something to do with the boot.img since i didn't understand that part clearly
a friend of mine told me that my kernel was outdated and that was the reason why i am failing on my ports, but the other one told me i have the one and only kernel for Jelly Bean (v3.4.5)

I recently bought a DOOGEE DG800 Valencia and I since then and i'm trying a lot of roms but non of them worked and some of them have bricked it and i had to re-install the stock rom .
Anyway now it's ruining android 4.4.2 stock rom !
And i'm looking for 4.4.4 rom or maybe 5 if possible (IMPOSSIBLE HAHA )
And also after searching on the net i'm sure that there's no CM version for it but maybe for mtk6582
If anyone has roms for it or for mtk6582 please help me !

Hi, I am walton Primo GF5 user. It was relased last month. It is powered by spreadtrum sc8830 chipset. Running on android marshmallow. Some how I managed to get TWRP after a hard work and rooted with SuperSU 2.76. Now please provide me any rom porting method so I can port custom roms to my device. I want port mt6580 roms. I will be happy if you provide any readymade rom for this device. I have pc and all required tools for porting. I just need a working tutorial. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

Can anyone provide Custom rom for Gionee Phones running on Kernel 3.10.65+ MT6735. I have ported many roms, following every single instructions for porting rom for MT6735 64bit rom but it won't boot at all.
