Hi guys,
First of all sorry for bad english.
I turned my dives of because it was stuck when deinstalling an app.
Now, when i boot it, the boot animation comes, then the samsung logo, then the boot animation and so on.
My device is rooted. I had a backup with cwm but when i restore it it says:
Checking MD5 sums...
Restoring system...
Restoring data...
Error mounting /data!
Skipping format...
Can't mount /data!
But this backup worked before...
I tried to flash a new firmware with odin but odin won't recognize my device in download/odin mode.
What can i do? I searched for 5 hours now...
Thx for answers
Odin must recognize your device if you are in download mode.Just wait a moment and he will.If not try to change the usb port.
When you see the com in yellow tick repartition select you pda and flash
Even i had the same problem there r 3 things u can change
1:change your connecting cable
2:reinstall samsung drivers and then try again
3:change ports
Even after u flash stock firmware it does bootloop then do a factory reset from stock recovery
This should work

Odin recognize devices in download mode. Ur devive was in? If not.
Remove battery, sd, plug in pc.
Hold power+volumeUp+volumeDown for 6sec.
Inserts batery.
Run odin as adm.

did you try to do a factory to do a factory reset from stock recovery
How it worked
Thank for your help guys, i figured that maybe doing this in a virtual machine was not a good idea...
But thats the recipe:
1. Try to AWAYS use the drivers that automatically install when you plug in your phone, because the samsung drivers I downloaded didn't work
for me.
2. NEVER install new drivers on top of the old ones; always deinstall the old ones first.
3. Try again and again and again! Don't stop after the first five times trying.

Hi dude, Just wanna ask how to fix my lenovo a680 boot loop problem. When I enter to the recovery mode there is no "Advance" Option in my stock recovery. Also every time i tried to connect my phone to a laptop/ desktops it disconnects instantly. I tried different usb cables, but the problem still persist. I really don't know what I'm gonna do. I also tried ADB but it wont connect to my phone it says "Error: Devices not found" My only chance on repairing my phone is using a 2gb sd card. Which I also tried. I tried to flash stock rom on it but it says "Installation aborted" There is also a resting robot with a red triangle and an exclamation point on it. Which says " No Command" So if you can help me, that would mean a lot to me. Thanks in advance!
The last way u can do is "Factory Reset" using stock recovery.., hit thanks if I help you..

bootloop? were you trying to root.flash anything? Never mind. flash a custom recovery cwm, twrp of your choice. then,
full wipe from there. and flash lenovo a680 stock firmware from here. this will delete everything.not sure of internal sd card.there are also flash instuctions too. Hope this fix it. After you flash i think you will get your stock recovery back.
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED. DON'T FORGET TO HIT THANKS.

Edit: you weren't able to flash from phone because stock recovery can't flash roms.. it can't wipe system partition.
Hi thank you for your suggestion but i tried everything but i can't flash any roms because every time i connect my phone through a laptop or a desktop it disconnects automatically within 3-5 seconds. I also tried flashing rom through an sd card but i get a "Installation aborted" I also tried flashing a recovery but my problem is the disconnection between my phone and my laptop, i tried different cables and sockets but it's still the same. When I tried to use the usb cable to another phone it doesn't disconnect. I also tried using adb but when it's starting to install the zip file it disconnects also. I tried everything.
Hi MicroMonster Thank you for your suggestion but I tried that a thousand times, I've tried clearing the partition and the cache and everything but it doesn't do the job.

hi
I'm having a similar problem that when connecting with the USB the device shows very briefly in device manager, less than 1 sec and then it's gone.
Good night
Well, this morning I tried to make a backup of my rom using the rom manager. It failed and I got stuck in the CWM. I've already tried flashing other roms (transwin and bionic monkey) and wipe cache, data, etc. Right now, I'm trying to flash CWM using odin, but it can't recognize my device. I've already trying unnistalling/reinstalling KIES and Samsung drivers, but it always shows that error code: 10 (even in another computer).
So... anyone have any ideas? I think I should try to make odin recognize my device, but I don't know what to do anymore...
delete kies from system and try to connect device in Download mode wait for Odin to install drivers and recognized by it or try different port or cable

Thanks for your attention. I did it all again, but I think the problem was that I was using the recovery to enter in download mode. When I tried to enter without it I managed to get out of recovery, but now I can't make KIES recognize my device to get back to stock and the Bionic Monkey rom is bugged ("Android.process.acore has stopped" every 3 seconds). I saw the topic with some stocks, but I can't find one for my country (Brazil) and IDK if I can just flash any rom... I'm going to try the TransK rom, I wanted to test it anyway.
Thanks again ^^
Hi,
I installed Lenovo P780 VibeUI 2.0 version: VIBEUI_V2.0_1512_DEV_P780 and gapps-kk-20150404-minimal-edition-signed.zip.
Then I installed Google Calendar from Play Store. Unfortunately it doesn't sync. If I go to settings/accounts/google there is no "google calendar data" option to choose.

Unfortunately I used [GApps][4.4.2][AROMA]_Aroma_Installer_GApps-v1.5.2 and didn't wipe data before/after. After rebooting the phone got "Lenovo launcher stopped, must be closed". After swithching the phone off and on end up with an infinite bootloop.
I rebooted the phone into recovery mode and wiped data, cache and dalvik and tried to reinstall VIBEUI_V2.0_1512_DEV_P780. After the first launch there is only a chinese text (I guess it might be some error, after clicking the button the same error apears again and again).
I tried to flash a custom revovery (as I end up with a Lenovo-Recovery with nothing to do) with a Flash Tool V5.13.52.200 as described in other thread but after clicking "download" and connecting the phone nothing happens (phone shows red light and a battery charge screen). The phone is recognized by the PC (Win 7) as even after turning the phone on again it is possible to upload files to the SD card using windows explorer.

Hi. You are lucky. Your phone is detected by your computer !
All you have to do is to flash a custom recovery TWRP CN Version.
After this you could download your firmware again and put it on sd card ! reboot to recovery wipe and reflash your firmware !

Hi all,
by cons for several weeks I've a concern with my redmi Note 2 and I can't find the answer to my problem on the forum or even the Internet.
Since the last update 7.2.2 (global) I have the Recovery MIUI who crushed the TWRP. I changed to test 6.3.17. The update to the .24 went wrong and I don't know why. Since the phone is bootloop. But the problem is that my phone is not recognized by any PC. I tried several PCs, several cables, several drivers, with or without the Fastboot, unable to connect. Therefore impossible to load a new version. I don't think it's material problem because the phone recharge well with a cable to the socket.
Is there another handling or debug decision to restart the phone? I'm in France for information.
thank you in advance if you can point me to a solution !
Hope someone can help me.
Manu
Can the phone boot to miui recovery? If so, you should be able to use miui recovery to flash TWRP (I think you will need one with a signed install zip). You only need to take out the external SD, put it in one of those cheap USB card readers, copy your recovery and ROM to the SD, put it back in the phone, flash TWRP with miui recovery, and then flash the ROM with TWRP (I am assuming that miui recovery can install things from the external SD - if not, then none of this will work).
Hi Bro,
Yes it boot in MIUI recovery but impossible to get access to the SD Card...
I tried to put the file on the SD card but you can't choose the path, I think the recovery will look only in the internal memory ... And as I can't access the internal memory..
I despair !!
Thanks o lot for your help

So, when the battery is removed, and you connect the USB cable, the phone is not even vibrating (and making that weird sound) every couple of seconds or so?

Well, then it is very strange that you can't use the SP Flash Tool. If the phone vibrates, then the device is recognised, and you should be able to flash anything you want with the SP Flash Tool! How exactly were you trying to use the Flash Tool?
I tried so many solutions I really don't know exactly how I used the software.
I will again try everything.
But against any changes when I look in the USB settings of the PC, the phone doesn't appear.
I try again just now, thank you for your help.

With the SP Flash Tool, all you need is the correct "scatter" file (MT6795_Android_scatter.txt), and the image(s) that you want to flash. If the phone is vibrating, then the SP Flash Tool should be able to connect to it when you click "Download". Just make sure that you first untick everything that you do NOT want to flash. I would try flashing the boot image (boot.img) first. If that succeeds, then try the TWRP recovery image.
Ok. I'm going to try again with "http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=196175&highlight=sp%2Btool%2Bflash%2Bredmi%2Bnote%2B2"

Strange! I am assuming that when you connect the phone with the USB cable, the battery has been removed from the phone? If so, then it should work.
Perhaps you should try first connecting the phone, and then waiting until it has vibrated once or twice, before clicking the "Download" button?
Yes I removed battery before connect the phone to PC. I tried also with battery and nothing changed.
I even changed the cable to be sure.
Which seems to me most strange is that I see nothing in the device manager, as if the phone wasn't connected. Whatever the installed driver is the same result. I think it should at least have the phone on the COM or USB port ...
I will try again this night to be sure with all steps one by one. And I will also try with ACER tablet I and runs Android 5.1. Maybe it will be recognized.
Otherwise I also tried to pass a Linux PC as a last resort.
Thanks again for your help.

Yes, it should. The fact that the phone vibrates when connected indicates that the PC and phone are communicating - but it may well be that a low-level driver in the phone has been overwritten (which may mean that this is a lost cause). A final idea - can miui recovery access usbotg?
Hum good question. In fact I don't know. I'll ask the MIUI forum.
I got home late from work so I don't do tests tonight, I'd see it all tomorrow including the connection with my tablet ...

Can be a micro crack on the USB plug into the phone if it's not a software problem ... Let's go for it apart and look at this ...
Thanks again bro.

I don't think it is a crack on the USB plug. It seems to me to be a low-level driver problem - ie, the drivers on the phone that are active when the phone is not (fully) booted up. I don't have the right terminology for these drivers, but they are possibly part of the bootloader. If that is the problem, then I don't know how you would solve this problem.
