I accidentaly found a way of entering safe mode in XMP. Just press and hold volume down button while the device is booting(boot animation is being displayed).

I'm not a developer, so please don't ask me what the use of it is. That is for the developers to find out.
Thanks

I don't know. I thought some developers may look at it.. And may be even find it to be useful in some way
I think it was just like in windows. Some apps are not accessible during that time, i also encountered that sometime this week, you can play, call/text and browse but there is no way you can browse your storage.
It doesn't work for my Xpeia Mini..... but what does safe mode do on windows? :S

On windows most of the drivers aren't loaded in safe mode. It's normally used for troubleshooting.

By accident even I entered the safe mode. All my 3rd party apps and widgets were disabled/not shown.

It is used to restore system incase of bootloop. Pointless because we have Recovery for that. You can't do much in safe mode unless you have added file manager to system folder, so that it can be used.

I'll be damned, it really works Thanks for the info!
This is probably an easy one but I rooted my Razr running ICS then installed clockworkmod recovery touch. I attempted to revert back to the stock recovery but can't quite figure out how to do it. Now when I do the recovery boot procedure (volume up + volume down + power) I get a list to pick recovery amongst other things. When I select recovery I get the android bot with an exclamation point and have to force reboot. I just want to be able to get into stock recovery. Is this possible? Am I missing something simple?
Just hit both volume buttons @ the same time, when the Android appears

Need I hold keys or just push once? Tryed both but wont work. Used CWM reboot to restart. Need to wait some seconds or right when screen turns to black?
Hold both volume buttons before hitting power. Then u should get a menu, scroll down to recovery with vol down, then select with vol up

After that, the ohone simply won't turn on!!
Whats wrong? And What to do next?
forced download, the device is begging you to flash something.
Plug it in, odin it, and make sure you are flashing the RIGHT ROM for your device's model.

Yes, I did.
Then I downloaded Odin 1 Click, which was suppose to stock ROM it. Instead, created a new problem.

get odin 1.85, kill all kies applications running on background and plug your device (power it first).
And make sure it's charged.

My phone is an HTC One M8 running Android Revolution HD and TWRP Recovery. I recently downloaded Multirom thinking that I could hold multiple roms just by downloading the app. The app told me to reboot into Recovery mode to finish installation, and I rebooted into recovery. The only roms that were available to boot in was Internal so I just chose that. Turns out Internal will always get me stuck into the htcONE boot screen even after 1 day of waiting. If I try to go into bootloader mode and go into factory reset, it brings me back to the MultiROM menu everytime. I cannot even access the phone from the computer to edit the files. Please help, thanks!
@sangothemango
When you say when you try booting into bootloader do you mean your recovery as far as doing a factory reset?
Try power+volume-up till it goes dark and as soon as it goes dark just hold volume-down till the actual hboot/bootloader comes up.

If you can get the above example type of screen to come up than you can save your device. Hopefully your familiar with adb/fastboot cause that's what's going to fix it.
Unless you already have S-OFF ?
Yes I can get into that screen, but if I choose anything, it says going into recovery mode and then nothing happens.

Is the bootloader unlocked for the f600L version?
Sent from my LG-F600L using Tapatalk
If you check the box then adb reboot bootloader after the device reboots to bootloader type fastboot oem unlock (this will wipe all user data like a factory reset) if the command is successful then your answer is yes. If not sorry it is not unlocked

When I do "ADB reboot bootloader" it just restarts the phone. and loads back up.
anybody?
I've also noticed this will not boot into bootloader through adb or hardware butto.n
It appears to show download mode for a few seconds if you hold volume up and plug into UBS, it goes to a Korean page after that and i cant navigate with any buttona...but the phone doesn't show up in adb or anything.
