What kernel you using has to be custom not stock
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
I tried your case many time...try just wipe data/factory reset
Find me at Gtalk
Sent from my fast Neo V
Sorry for my bad English...
Just download compatible night elf or other kernel. Flash it in fastboot and reboot.
There is nothing wrong with ROM no need to keep wiping it.
I'm not sure which kernel my neo is having as i have tried various things in last one month. How do i find it out (Sorry i'm a beginner here)

Generally it is in about phone in settings but as you are not able to load up any ROM i suggest just flash one to make sure you are on right kernel.

hi ankurvij,
by which method you root your neo v if it is DoomLoRD's toolkit then it roots your phone with locked bootloader
to my knowledge Team Xperia SE.TWEAKED V1 is for unlocked bootloader only correct me if i'm wrong
you won't install custom ROM but can install Stock ROM
i've tried the same thing after rooting DoomLoRD's toolkit same error as yours
now on stock firmware from emannxperia with some tweaks
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544273
I had similar problems when I put a rom with an inappropriate kernel. But for this you must have the bootloader open
Yes, i used DoomLoRD's toolkit .. i will give a try to ICS Now
Thanks for ur reply..

Cant you enter into flashmode????
Question
Need More details:
1)Locked or Unlocked Bootloader?
2)Which stock kernel you flashed? Downloaded from?
3)[If Locked Bootloader] Can you enter xrecovery? If can, make full wipe, clear cache partition, install new ROM via "install custom zip from SDcard.
4)[If Unlocked Bootloader] Try flash some custom Kernel for Unlocked bootloader like DooMKernel, see whether it reach recovery mode or not.
Sincerely,
whitefang
If can, pls kindly hit thanks button as an appreciation

Hi, I really want to be in the safe side here, very much afraid of doing something un-fixable:
I've got the Sola with Ginger Bread (2.3.7) with build number 6.1.1.B.1.54. :::: ¿Is it totally SAFE to flash the CM9 in my situation?
I ask this cause it seems that pretty much everybody in the forums seem to be flashing from the ICS(4.0.4) 6.1.1.B.1.10...
(¿Also: should I flash a recovery (like munjeni's Sony Xperia Sola boot for 6.0.B.3.184 + root + CWM recovery v5.5.0.4 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901134 )
first in order to have a guranteed backup of the Sony original everything??)
Thanks in advance, kind of confused here...

you could always flash back the stock ROM incase of softbricks............. you mentioned that you are using GB butr the build number (6.1.1.B.1.54) is i guess of ICS latest firmware.......... so first confrm which version are you running.,,,,,,,,,,
For FXP you will have to flash ICS first (i guess) and then install the CWM followed by FXP CM9.1..................

Okies u want a complete backup
So I guess ur bootloader is unlocked
Flash munjeni's kernel or just install cwm
Do a nandroid backup from cwm( yes it backups everything)
And then flash. 54 fw (ics) (latest changelog of fxp 202 requires u to have this fw)
Bt u r already having this
And dun worry about soft bricks they are easily recoverable... anyone here can help u if u get one

Thanks, using Mac here, but I'm glad to find out that Sony FINALLY provided an interface for Mac users ("Sony Bridge for Mac"), so I did the regular upgrade to ICS w/.54.
Gonna go ahead and flash munjeni's kernel + CWM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922029 )
(¿wouldn't be a good idea that someone asked munjeni to change the name of the thread to "etc 6.1.1.B.1.10 (and .54) + etc"?? It took me a while to find it, using both google and the forum's search, as I was always dismissing it thinking the .10 build wouldn't work for the .54...
I mean, in the interest of future knoobs like me. I tried to post, but it's locked to non-developers)

Hi guys, I'm in a deadlock situation trying to recover my Xperia Ray. It just stuck at Sony logo. I know there is a lot of topics with the same issue, I've tried all that I could and most of the instructions that I can find on the internet, but not luck.
Here is what I've done but unfortunately, none works:
1) Install Sony Update Service, select Xperia Ray and reinstall the latest firmware. [Result: Successful, but still stuck at Sony Logo]
2) Download the .ftf (I flashed almost all version, GB, JB etc) , wipe everything, and flashed using flashtool. [Result: Successfully flashed, but still stuck at Sony Logo]
3) Unlock the bootloader, using Flashtool, I flashed several custom kernel and rom combination, (Lupus, Xkernel, Ice Bean Rom, MIUI rom, Xperia HD rom). [Result: Successfully flashed the custom kernel and rom, CWM from the kernel loads fine to flash the rom, but after flashing, still stuck, this time at the kernel's logo]
4) Relock the bootloader, tried to reflash the firmware using Sony Update Service again. [Result: Successfull, but stuck at Sony logo, again]
That's it, please help me, anyone have any idea on what can I do to solve this? Is it possible that this is the hardware defect, not software?
I'll really appreciate your help.
please someone help us :'(
Even i am stuck in the same situation :'( have tried out the same steps as above :/ still no success
Please some one try to help in order to get our rays working :/
Anyone? My last resort would be to send the phone to Sony service centre and see what they can do.

You can go back to stock using flashtool or Sony Pc Companion. I use Sonys app. You may lose root, recovery and more.

CWM doesn't recognize ZIPS on external sd cards (or I've tried a million ways and it never has). It would be awesome if somebody could tell me how to make it do that, though. I always give up and reflash.
