Simple module this, removes the "Downloaded Only" bar from the top of Play Music, which can be annoying when you're offline and turn it on to avoid greyed out albums and unplayable songs
Doesn't remove the drawer option, so you can still turn it off there.

This no longer works on the latest version (5.8).
Updated for material version (sorry for the delay), I'm pretty sure it will still work on Android 2.3 but am not totally sure, if anyone can test that would be great

It doesn't remove that bar. It removes the banner you get when it's turned on.
Grey Bar on bottom of screen
Hey man, love your module! But there is one thing that is kind of annoying me, after turning on Download Only mode, a grey bar appears at the bottom of the screen, assumingly the same size as the removed "Download Only" banner. Don't know if this is replicated on every device but it is on mine.
Thank you for this fantastic module! I was just wondering if there are any plans to also remove the "Get Unlimited Music" banner that was added in the latest update. Thanks

Turn off NFC. ... Seriously, that's it on stock.
You can flash custom ROM and choose the International setup and it'll be gone. There's also a mod to make to hide it from view. But again requires root and deodexed ROM.

Okay, then this is going to be your best bet. This is the mod I mentioned. It does not make it completely gone, it only makes it invisible.

Right, no space back in the bar. I hate the icon too. :/ I hope someone comes up with a better solution.
I just noticed that the camera app on my rooted M8 doesn't have video mode, only camera and selfie. I can't tell you if was there before it was rooted, because gaining root was the first thing I did with this phone. Has anyone else seen this, or have any advice for me? Thanks!

This happened to me after using Themer and a one click theme. And this oddity came about by clicking the camera icon on the home page, not the actual Camara app.

I don't know about the Google now launcher but in themer i had the option to change which icons launched what apps. I noticed my icon was set to open camera but i just selected to change it and set it to cam manually and for some reason, that worked for me. I also had to do the same with gallery

I actually have the latest apk but it doesn't show up. I think it's slowly rolled out across all users independent of the apks and (as usual) I'm probably the last getting it
Do you have a possibility to scrape the GET-Request of the Google App when calling for the weather?

I had it but I did a clean install of a new rom... and it went away :'( it was so much nicer @infiniteWays did you come up with some clever way to force enable it?
