Ugh. Can someone help me. My whole status bar is missing. Clock, battery, notifications, nothing. I don't get it. Any help would be great.

Hard to say since you gave us zero details about your system. Many custom launchers can hide the status bar and apps can do so as well.
Try closing all open apps, clearing your system cache and rebooting. Assuming that your status bar returns.. then watch to see what app hides it on you. Otherwise, give us a detailed description of your system and what apps you have installed.
.
Alliance rom. Blaze kernel. No new apps and stock launcher. I didn't do anything new. My battery had died, and when I plugged it in and turned it on it was fine. About an hour later, boom, no status bar.
Edit: clearing the cache seemed to work. Thanks sir.

Good to hear. If was probably just a one time glitch from the battery dying. And wiping the cache reset it.

Ok, so i had to do a hard reset and the 'toolbar' checkbox was checked so the quick menu would drop down to close apps running. Well, with that disabled, i only have 1.5 icons showing, and no matter what i can find to do, will bring them back. Its like theres a black box covering up half of the area where the system notification icons are supposed to be.
Stock ROM, few tweaks and stuff installed, but nothing that effected this before the hard reset.
Thanks in advance
Yes, i did search, but nothing came up!

Nevermind, i uninstalled the diamond hack and that fixed it, but didnt mess them up before the reset.
When I try to switch to "mount sd card" on the computer, I get this error. I believe I switched to the "themed" status bar, and I think that's the problem. I try to go back to the "Stock" status bar and pretty much the whole thing crashes for a bit, then reboots to the "themed" one.. so.. mm yeah. That, or the two are the same (but they aren't.. i've used both ).
I'm pretty much a total noob when it comes to phone stuff. Should I just wing it and wipe all my data?
The attached pic is the error I get when I hit "click this to change setting" for mount and stuff. then poof buh bye status bar
I get a systemui error when I try to change the status bar.
Thanks for anyone who helps!! <3

Not sure how your phone is set up, but almost sounds like your custom status bar programing is on your SD card...

Think of it this way... What programs do you still want access to when your phone is in usb mode? Personally, I have any programs related to phone use and settings manipulation on phone memory, all others on sd card memory. Like anything that is a customization or has root access, leave on your phone. Hell, I even transferred my personal ringtones to phone memory.
Go to settings/applications/manage/downloaded tab. Each app that you click can be swithed from being stored on phone or SD card memory there. Be sure your phone customizations are not.

I am having an issue where pressing the middle button on the launch bar (which should bring up the grid of apps) just brings up a blank screen.
Anyone know how to fix this? (I already cleared cache and dalvic.)
Thanks.

Have you tried to do a backup, then a full wipe and reinstall MeanBean?

No. I am seeing if there is an easy solution before resorting to that, as my time is limited. Thanks.
Check out my reply in the Meanbean development thread.
I got my first Android phone on a Friday. Having a blast with it. But, I've been trying to find out what this is. Can't figure it out. Tried searching for it but can't find it.
It showed up on Saturday and never goes away.

I was thinking Settings too. But why is the icon on the left side, all the time. And how do I remove it?
any chance its a blue half circle? if so its the multiwondow app selector, just hold the back button to make it go away

I've personally never seen it. I also don't have Facebook installed. I would do the suggestion above, or try touching it and see what happens. You may just need to confirm something.
It doesn't go away even after pressing clear notification. I've tried pressing it. Nothing.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
As the title mentioned, Jelly Bean supposed to have a new feature such that you can act on the Notification bar, depending on the app.
For example, if you received a Gmail notification (new email), you can pull down to see the Notification bar and from there you can click "Reply" or "Delete".
On my AT&T Note with JB, if I pull down the notification bar, I can SEE the action button but BRIEFLY. Within 0.5 seconds, it disappear and I can't press those action buttons.
Is there a setting I can change to make this work?
That's only with 4.2.2

Yes the feature is there in the 4.1.2 release. I'm looking for settings but don't see any anywhere. But it works fine for me. Have you performed a factory data reset since you updated? It's solved numerous problems by doing so.
There isn't an option with the stock messaging app. If you push aosp mms.apk to system/app change permissions and reboot you'll have that option. I used the mms.apk from cm10.1 rc2

I did a factory reset and even formatted the USB storage and SD card.
The action button IS SHOWN, but only for 0.5 seconds and it disappears.

This applies to ANY apps that have this capabilities, such as Gmail and Plume Twitter app.
That's weird man. It's working fine for me and I can't find a setting anywhere. Did you change anything like font, dpi, or something?

No I didn't. Just stock, rooted and installed TWRP.

Same here. Stock, and rooted with no problems. I wish I could help ya better, but there's no settings I can find. Only thing I can suggest is try wiping dalvik cache and see if that helps. If not maybe factory resetting again. Otherwise I'm at a loss.
No problem man. I'll try to reset the phone later and see what happens. This is really just bizarre. ..
Well, turns out I DO have it.
Remember when I said it shows up for 0.5 seconds and disappear? I have to swipe down the notification item itself (not the notification bar) with 2-fingers and then it'll show up.
It seems that the notification pull down gets "full" (I don't have that many) and it hides the action items.
