why r u installing canvas 2 roms on canvas HD?....NEVER flash roms made for other phones without porting it

most probably u have bricked ur device by flashing a wrong firmware... All u can do is check if the PC is detecting ur phone...but first make sure u have the proper drivers installed...mobistel cynus T1 drivers...

just do What I told u...thats is the only way to check if the phone can be recovered..install the drivers ...take out battery , sim card from ur phone and connect it to ur pc..if its detected then u r saved..

I tried using the bin4ary method and it doesnt work on my phone. and then i tried superoneclick and it gets stuck at "Failed to set prot mask (Inappropriate ioctl for device)
somebody please help me to rooot this.

ok lets start from the beginning..
first of all extract the files on ur dekstop n make a folder of it.
2. Make sure u have enabled USB debugging on ur device. If not then go to settings/development n then tick usb debugging.
3. Now all u have to do is to open the runme.bat file on ur computer wich u hv extracted.
4. Connect ur fon to PC n connect as media device in ur fon n let ur PC detect ur fon.
thats it! now enter '1' in runme and ur device will ask to restore ur data. Restore ur data and let ur fon reboot. Ur done enjoy!!!

Dude if u hv followed d above steps correctly n if ur bng asked to restore den after restoring and rebooting wait for sometime and disconnect ur fon from PC and then download root checker from playstore.. it will let u know whether ur device is rooted properly or not.. n yea make sure dat before running the rooting process ur device is detected by PC and dnt forget to enable usb debugging.. failed to mount E/data (cache so on)

i gave it to the guys at MMX service....... its been today...... they are not able to make it.....
givin reason that it goes to same old condition after a restart......

Hi bishu any luck with your A101
Correct me if I am wrong but you started facing issues after you flashed the JB rom
Also I dont see anywhere the rom you flashed was meant for A101.
you can try this for firmware

As our phone dose not rely on any specific driver situation like Sumsung or HTC phones. That is because of the SoC MediaTek chipset.. Thats Awesome.. Now let me rescue you..

Like I tried all these different ROMs on xperia x10 mini pro u20i, upgraded it to JB 4.1.2, and its working fine, and all these were possible because of Sony's PC Companion that helped me to get my phone out of boot loops an all, now since I don't have that kinda apps for Micromax's A101 (not even in there official site) is there any other way where I can bring the fone back to its factory settings if anything goes wrong while custom rom installation or upgradation from ICS 4.0.4 to JB 4.2 or 4.3. (I already have those drivers and tools for A101 that was there mentioned though.However I never got those driver files in the phone when I bought it though)
If yes please let me know bout a- the best kernel for A101
b- JB 4.2 or 4.3 (preferably) ROM plus and GAPPS required
c- The stock kernel or some application like Sony has update service app for sony phones(u knw just in case..)

I have rooted n number of phones and this phone does not root.
The micromax A101 has android 4.0.4 version. So when go to settings>about> and tap build number a multiple times
the developer mode does not enable.
This sucks.

u have to download this app
PDA NET+
there in go to setting inside it..... it will ask for developer blaah blaah, then click something(yu will figure it out)
and somehow from heaven u will c developer mode,
activate it.................THATS IT
done

Believe me! Nothing is wrong with your device! Just flash the stock ROM back and that's it...
Kitkat Rom for micromax
I have finally rooted my phone and i can't find kitkat rom for micromax a101.
One website says it has the rom
but when try downloading it, the website asks to complete the survey
after completing the survey nothing happens and no file is downloaded.
If anyone has the kitkat rom please upload it on media fire. I urgently need it.

I think its because of wrong scatter file try downloading ur rom from other site may help u

in the post where mr. shivrajsingh post the drivers i dont understand whats the process he is describing at the last portion of that thread, can u pls. describe me when to follow these rules & for what !!!!!!!!!!!

they need not be followed...just install the drivers..and you are good to go..

Pls. If possible download the rar file you suggested which is showing 11Kb on my download manager. Iam telling this because there is nothing to install but three file having couple of written things which are opening through note pad(sizes-4kb each). Also i must mention here that i m using a win8 pc. Pls. Man help......

yes it is only 11 kb...u will have to follow the steps in that thread to install these...
or
just Google All mtk drivers and download the setup...it will be approx 14 mb..

The first part is general for flashing in the thread where the driver links was given but i asked what the second part is all about in the previous thread. i dont know which steps to follow to install the drivers pls. dont hesitate & explain me stepwise....i already googled before about this & then start this this thread & install 5-6 drivers{but no one among them is of 14mb} but nothing works pls. if you use that specific one pls. post. Is drivers are windows 8 compatible or not ????? pls. reply man..my device is bricked since 2 long long weeks

I wil giv u a tutorial on how to install the 11kb drivers..
turn off ur device..remove battery and sim cards...now open device manager on ur computer and keep the window open.. connect the phone to the computer...it will appear in the device manager in unknown devices with a yellow question mark...right click on the device and select update driver... select update manually and give the location of the 11kb driver folder...it will update and u r done...
I successfully flashed the v5 stock ROM & as i knew the bug is Windows 8 but now my device is showing A116i & battery % is also abnormal. Pls help if its a weird issue

Yes the V5 shows model no. as A116i...that is normal...
and abt the battery %age...don't worry...the backup is still the same...
pls suggest me how i can download the correct drivers.

hello there i hope u frnds help me
i have 2 mobiles one is galaxy star and 2nd is sduos s7562 both are rooted yesterday i accidently flashed s5282 kernel on sduos s7562 via cwm (i dont know that time i flashed wrong kernel) so normally reboot the s duos phn and now it is not turning on no keys combination,no blackscreen,no charging,nodownload mode so searched a lot on google and found 3 ways:
usbjig
jtag
motherboard replacement
i visit today samsung service center they r telling it cost u rs5500
but i dont want to spend 6000rs on sduos bcoz price is too high so tell me what should i do
should i try usbjig-it will work on bad kernel?
should i give my phn to jtag service-it takes 40hr but with rs1500 and no gurantee
should i replace motherboard not from samsung from cheap markets like gaffaar in karolbhag
plz tell me or any other to make my phn working plzzz
your support helps me alot

Try adb methods to flash the stock rom

or U can.give it to.any local.shop
Okkk thanks should i give to local market instead of local shop bcoz they r unable to fix this and kept phn for 2-3 days in which they can change screen,parts silently hehe.. so i will try adb today thanks both of you.

Even if u give to local stores,they will use adb sideload to fix the problem this is india brother
Those air conditioned stores with samsung logo on top also use adb sideload in these kinda problems soo keep ur bucks to urslf and try it hard

Yeah bro delhi [emoji12] and new prblm occurs(after giving to local store not samsung or gaffar market) now my phn vibrates with black/blank screen and after 5 seconds it reboots on/off while charging, power on,usb mode(detectablw on pc for some time) and i tried ur 300k tools its work it takes my phn to download mode (seen on odin)but on phn black screen when i m going to flash stock ron it stucms at setting up or preparing what to do i dnt have sdk right now so how i use adb or i will dowoad sdk? Thanks in advance plz help me brothers.

Listen bro dont mess it up try going to recovery mode and if it doesnt happen try flashing the recovery via odin by going to download mode
