GravityBox - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Id like to know how to install gravitybox.
It is an app ?
Edit: I already ran Easy Root Tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784900

1) Install Xposed Framework http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer. Gravity Box is a module.
2) Google n learn more before experimenting.

Yes, it is possible. You can use Titanium Backup or other 3rd party apps that can uninstall system apps.

1. I tried it, few weeks ago, but no success. I tried some Sense module too, but no change.
2. There are few alternatives on Play Store, like AntTek Quick Settings, but it's not always reliable. Some built-in ROM mod would be great.
I think Xposed framework is only for Samsung phones / framework, or am I wrong?
I use the Xposed Framework and it works perfect on our device. I use the Tweakbox and XPrivacy modules.

for quick settings there is an apk which you can easily download, & if you want toogles in notification area there is an modified systemui.apk in desire x forum itself, all you gotta do is use "Search"..
& for Xposed framework, i tried installing them yesterday & ended up with bootloop, worst part was that i was even unable to get inside Recovery..

[Q] AOSP Lockscreen Touchwiz 4.3

Couldn't find a solid answer so i was wondering if there was any way to get the stock jellybean lock screen on my gs3? Im rooted on stock at&t. Im not really looking for any 3rd party apps cause those can be sluggish and not as customizable. Thanks in advance!
Install the xposed framework then install the module for the framework that will do this for you.
Not sluggish and really easy.

Sorry but I can't help you any further as I had only just started getting into xposed framework and hour before I saw your post which is the only reason I seen that mod.
Is there no app in the play store for this?

There was an app called holo lockscreen or something but no security options or widgets and such. Plus there was a pretty annoying lag time in actually locking the device.

Making the most of your G2 Mini without custom ROMS.

Hi guys, I have been browsing this forum looking for updates on the development for this phone over the last few months and unfortunately it seems pretty stale to be fair. We have achieved root which is a good stepping stone but there have been no attempts at new roms or modifications of any sort so I would like to give you what I have achieved with my G2 Mini.
- Installing xposed framework and using G2 TweaksBox to modify everything to how I like it. As the stock rom is closely based on the original G2, all of the modifications you make will be the same however I cannot get rid of the SIM switching bar in the notification panel
After making these changes my experience of this phone has been greatly improved. I hope this information can help some of you who are desperately looking to modify the ROM to your needs.
*NOTE - You must have rooted your G2 Mini to install xposed framework*
@Vagelis1608 has pointed out that xposed does not work on ART, my bad.
@Garcia98 is working on a custom recovery that will work on locked bootloaders.
Also, I thought that if someone installs xposed on ART, it will get reverted to Dalvik.
Can you confirm if you are actually running ART with xposed active?

The next xposed update should support ART.
So is it safe to root the G2 Mini using Towelroot and is it full root or just half root (they say there ia half root but I don't know what it is). And then after will be the installing of Xposed framework on the phone, is that correct? And then after that ia installing the G2 Tweakbox? All these are safe to install?

Yes, all of them are safe.
So you can go ahead and install them
But, as always, you are responsible for what you do with your device.

Hi.
I have root and LB.
Anyone know how i can disable the Quick Settings in Lockscreen?
What are you trying to say "quick settings in lockscreen"? Quick settings panel in notification bar? If it is, you can disable it with gravitybox L.

np
And for EXTRA Security you can use APM+ to disable the power and reboot menus while the device is locked - the thief will not be able to turn it off or disable mobile data when used with serajr's module. (Remember to enable my xperia, google device manager and/or cerberus)
