How hide "applications" tab app drawer? - Themer General Discussion

Hi,
The problem I have with this launcher is I'd like to hide "applications" tab in the app drawer, or at least make it show only apps that are not show in another tab.
The great thing would be to organize tabs as I want too, not in alphabetical order.
Thanks for you help

Hi,
Unfortunately you can't hide the Applications, however the developers are currently working on creating a new app drawer, and this will be on the list. Same goes for the other features you mentioned. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Strange folder on root

Hi guys
So I installed a few different widgets and stuff today off the play store. I only installed ones that had lots of downloads like 100,000+. Installed a few and then uninstalled a few so basically I have installed and uninstalled lots of different widgets today. So now I've noticed a strange folder on the root of the phone just called d. I've attached the screenshot of that folder and also the contents. Does anyone know what this might be?
Second thing I've noticed I also have 2 apps in my app drawer - Appcenter and Gamezone - see attached. There not apps in their own right as I cant uninstall them as there not showing up under app manager etc. All I can delete is the icon form the app drawer - when I try the uninstall of the app from the app drawer it says the application cannot be found- remove from app drawer? All advice appreciated.
The AppCenter and GameZone things appear to be part of GO Launcher... I'm guessing their latest updated today added them to the app drawer.

Cool thanks for that - thats one of my issues sorted then!
Is this confirmed? I don't want to unnecessarily wipe my phone.
I also have those two apps in my drawer. And since there are active, but not uninstallable, i don't trust them... I also have the impression those app are eating up memory since my phone looks to be much slower. I did check taskmanager, but see nothing special. How do i get rid of this ? Any help welkom ! Thx

Apps not displayed

In CM7, all my apps were on one page, easily reached. In CM10.1.2, some apps on desktop, others have to be reached in \settings\displayhiddendrawer. And then, when I click on icon there, all I get is stats for that app; i.e., app doesn't open. I've tried the "reset" in top rt corner of hidden drawer, and also placing checkmarks in the buttons; still not working. Using Nook color, CM10.1.2 on SDHC.Please advise how to get all apps displayed.Thank you.

From the launcher (desktop), press the icon with a circle and six dots in the bottom row of icons. That would open the application drawer, where all applications and widgets are available.

Wow-Do I really feel like a total newbie! By doing it your way, works like a charm. THANK YOU. Could you also explain how to remove/add apps to desktop? Thanks again.

Just open the application drawer and long press the icon you want on the desktop. It will get put there. To remove just long press the icon you do not want and drag to the trash.

Two features I'd like

I'd love to be able to put my apps in folders inside the apps drawer. That way I can keep it like a start menu.
I'd also LOVE to be able to transfer my folders from Apex Launcher unto this. I don't want to have to configure the folders again.
Great stuff btw.

That's what our Smart Categories are meant for. They sort out most of your apps for you but you can still manually edit them, and then these folders link to ones that come with the homescreen themes

Feature Request: Favorites in a Folder

Is there any way we can get Favorites to open as a folder instead of opening the app drawe? Maybe an option? Folders open a lot faster than the app drawer.
I like the simplistic themes and really only need the favorites in addition to phone, email, and text. I also like using the double tap gesture to open favorites, but the app drawer is much slower at opening than a folder. If I add a folder to the home screen, I have to re-create it every time I change themes, and I can't use the double-tap gesture.
Thanks for listening!

I do like it! The most recent category is pretty much a pre-built favorites list. I like the new app drawer a lot, too! Thank you
Now we just need a way to open that category via a gesture (double tap for me)
yeah I like it well done but please please please can we have continuous scrolling and resize icon ,these are very badly needed and will only improve the feel of themer,I got the save as option but just for christmas give us these two options.:victory: or at least a time scale of when we can expect
There is already Icon Resizing for the app drawer.
8 columns and small icons works awesomely for the Note 3. =D

Resizing icons on screen is on our list, for now we're aiming providing the best looking themes
I would have thought sorting features out and issues would have priority ,in my opinion no point trying to get best looking themes if everything in the themer app isn't fully working.Just my opinion as mentioned

Agreed, but the trouble is that it's a lot easier said than done. A somewhat simple fix to a bug or a performance improvement could take weeks to solve, which isn't easy with limited resources. The devs are doing the best they can to juggle adding new themes, improving the performance, as well as fix the bugs and crashes.
You guys rock!

That latest update adding gestures support to smart categories rules! Now, no matter what theme I install, I can double tap and get my most-recently used apps up!
Happy New Year!
Good job! But, sometimes icons looks very small, and is it real to make active status bar?
thank you for share

New folder

whether you can create a folder when choosing the main screen and the application drawer?
I want to move a folder from the home screen to a drawer and I can not
I'm sorry for my English
he translated the translator googgle:fingers-crossed:
you can great "Groups" in the launcher drawer by long pressing an app, clicking edit, then selecting your desired group. I think that is what you are after.
