Run the same Xposed installer app that you used to install it. It will have an uninstall option.
You need to do that step first before using the Android uninstaller so that it reverts changes to executable system files. After the Xposed installer app reverses those changes it is safe to go to the settings menu > applications > application manager > downloaded, select the Xposed entry if it is still listed and click on the application manager uninstall button this time.
.

There have been many threads posted about this already. You need to edit your build.prop and set secure storage to false.

Xposed Installer

I just installed Xposed Framework on HyperDrive RLS12, is there supposed to be an icon for the app? I donwloaded the apk and installed the framwork, now everytime I want to open the Installer to edit modules, I need to go to the apk i download, install the apk again so i can open the app. Am I blind, or is there another way to open the app to edit modules?

Blind, unless your ROM is hiding it. :fingers-crossed:
Did you install the app Xposed Installer? Should be an icon that looks like the Android.

Do you know of a setting in Hyperdrive that does that? Here is a screen shot showing the app installed and all icons in my app drawer

Mine kept doing this as well its a known thing. What I did was unintalled xposed using titanium then booted into recovery and wiped cache/dalvic then booted back up and re installed it. That should do it.

[GUIDE]Superuser update on custom ROMS

This thread is for users facing difficulties on updating the Superuser app, while running a custom or stock ROM
Most times you might be facing problems like "Singature error". I will give you some instructions on updating Superuser. Here's what you will do:
1. Open Google Play Store and install the "System Apps Installer'' application. It is free and it is compartible with Galaxy Y.
2. Open it and grant superuser permissions to the app.
3. At first, you will see a File Manager. Browse through your sdcard and find the new Superuser app version you have downloaded and you want to install.
4. For example I will install Superuser 3.1.3 . Now find the apk and click it.
5. It will know say "This app already exists. ¿Do you want to overwrite it?
6. Press yes and wait to install.
7. When it's done it will say "¡App installed correctly!
8. Open the new Superuser and update it's binary.
9. You're ready to go.
From now on, if Superuser has ever an update released, you will be able to update it succesfully from the Google Play Store.
Personally tested and working on Evo-x4.2
Get the APKs needed in the attachment below.
P.S. You can use that method too for other apps that you can't update.
And if this won't work on your device, you can try hnkotnis's SGYToolkit [AROMA]

if superuser error.. how to grand system app installer?
superuser Superuser is the app that manages
what apps on your rooted device
have access to su. Apps that are
granted su have elevated
permissions and can modify just
about any part of the system. The
app was originally written by zinx,
and I took it and made it much more
useable. The app consists of two
parts, Superuser.apk and the su
binary.
source http://androidsu.com/superuser/
As mentioned in the OP, it's a guide for force updating Superuser. I didn't mention anything about "error granting su permissions", but I mentioned "error updating su and su binary".

I had such error on my SGY. I updated su binary, then I installed busybox 1.21.1 from Stericson's busybox installer (get it on Play Store).
Then problem was solved.
I'm trying to install the Framework, when I go into the app and then press install/update, I get a window that says:
Copying Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip...
Could not extract Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarted the phone and still getting the same issue. never had this problem before, can anyone help?

If you are trying to install Xposed on a newer Samsung device, Knox and SELInux will fight you. I'm guessing you are running what is in your in your sig, so probably not Knox. Install this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.selinux Grant SU, change to Permissive, reboot (may not be necessary, but doesn't hurt), and try again.

What version of Xposed are you trying to install? Do you have a custom recovery? If so, Xposed 2.5+ will give you an option to install normal via system or you can pick the option to install via recovery. I'd go that route. It's at the top of the framework install part of Xposed - there is a drop down box to choose install methods.
Edit: Looked at the picture you posted and you definitely have the newer version.

It very well could be something in it that isn't being friendly to the normal framework install method, but lemme know if it works the other installation way. If it does, then not a big deal either way.

I tried the other way and I still had the issue. So I did a clean installation of the rom again and it works now.
I guess something went wring when installing the rom which may have caused the issue.
Thank you for your help

What you want to do also after installing the rom freshly. Install the xposed v 2.5 rather than 2.5.1 because 2.5 works perfectly and there's no real need in updating it

Same issue
I am having the same issue with the could not extract the zip file. I have tried what was suggested on this thread as well as reinstalled the rom 3 times. I have used this rom before with no problems. The only two other things I can think of trying are full wipe and format of the sd card or full unroot and revert to stock then reroot and try the rom again. Any thoughts?

You're using 2.5 (not 2.5.1) and still having issues? What phone, rom, etc? Might try rolling back to 2.4.1.
I have a Galaxy Note 3 and running wicked rom. I was having the problem just on 2.5.1 but on 2.5 everything would load but none of the modules were working after rebooting. Everything checked out (installed and unzipped) with no errors on 2.5.

Weird...What modules were you trying to use? When you go into the Framework part, does it show the app_process and XposedBridge.jar as green / active?
It did for the 2.5 version even tho nothing was working. I reverted back to 2.4.1 and things seem to be working at the moment. I was running Wanam and the kbs network module. I'm going to try and play around tonight with some other modules and see if the problem persists.

Some questions for you.. what is the exact firmware version that are you using? Do you have allow unknown sources checked in the settings menu? Are you using any permission manager apps such as xprivacy? What version of Towel root do you have and tell us what steps you used to try installing towel root?
.
Its nothing of those things. This occurs when an app uses an overlay to cover the entire screen. Some apps that use an overlay will do this. So if you are using an app that requires the permission "draw over other apps" then it could be that app. Do you know of any apps that have a "floating" feature to them? Or an app that may be detecting full screen?

[Q] Trying to use "GLtools". Keep getting "Library building failed" during install.
I have a rooted samsung galaxy tab 3, 4.4.2 kitkat, using TWRP.
I recently downloaded GLtools from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-gltools-1-29-t2828630
It's an .apk file and easily "installs" on the device. When I open up the program, I get to this screen: https://imgur.com/Td9BDWU
I check all 3 boxes. But when I click install or install using recovery, it says "Library building failed. Send crashlog to developer".
I have contacted the developer and am awaiting a reply (hopefully), but no where else have I seen this error.
I also tried to download a .zip version of Gltools and use the TWRP manager app to install it, but when I clicked "flash now", literally nothing happened.
I'm an android noob so any help is appreciated!
