Has anyone else heard of the miui rom? It looks beautiful! Would be awesome to see a port for our phone one day, not that it's really necessary. We're already a bit spoiled for choice If you haven't already heard of it then check it out, some say its better than CyanogenMod.

Damn, didn't even notice
There is a MIUI theme for some roms, if you like. But no MIUI rom.
As far as i'm concerned there is no porting to the P500 - nevertheless the rom is really great looking and people who use it seem to be very happy, but if there's no version for the LG, then we can't do nothing about it

BIG thanks to sixstringsg for building nightlies for us on his server as official CM nightlies cannot be enabled for our device yet as there is still some stuff broken.
These are technically unofficial, so please do not file bug reports to FreeXperia or CyanogenMod, and instead post issues in this thread.
You can download the ROM from here: http://androtransfer.com/?developer=nightlies&folder=zeus
The ROM is GSM, so if you are a CDMA user, flash this over the top. If you are CDMA and are flashing this for the first time, please post for more assistance.
Working:
Video decoder for playback
Camera back and front
GSM & 3G Data
WiFi
Bluetooth
GPS
USB Tethering
Touchpads (semi-working, our implementation)
Game pad
Sound
3D and 2D (adreno)
Recovery
FPS uncapped
Stereo sound
Audio over Bluetooth
Video recording
Not working:
Full touch pad support.
WiFi hotspot
Bug reports on this thread please.
Remember, sixstringsg is behind this, so he is the one to thank.
They should build every night, if they don't build for three or four nights in a row, shoot me a PM and I'll fix it. I should notice before then though.
GSM? CMDA? Both? Bluetooth Media Audio?
What is Nightly mean ?

GSM, you can flash the patch in the R800x thread over the GSM and it will work on CDMA

Nightly means every night, or close to it. It is good because then you can update the ROM frequently.
And don't forget to thank sixstringsg's post!

Man, I never expected to see sixstringsg here. I've enjoyed your work with the Glitch Kernel on the Fascinate, and now you've followed me here. The dev community just keeps getting better and better for this phone!

I'm not developing here, just helping out the community wherever I can. I heard you didn't have nightlies and wanted them, so I offered my server/time to do it.

Actual developing or not, you're still being a big help.
On another note, are these nightlies of FXP's CM9, or is it actually part of the main CM9 tree now?

FXP's CM9 is also built of the CM9 tree.

I suppose I should pose my question this way, then: Will FXP's changelog apply to these nightlies, or will they just have the latest CM9 fixes?

FXP's changes should apply to these nightlies when the changes are merged into the CM repository

Now that my questions are done, would you be so kind as to link that update.zip for porting r800i roms to r800x in the op? Pax has linked his thread to this one, and it may just be me, but I would think that having all parts in one place would be the most beneficial.

Great, i think i will test it now and tomorrow i will report some bugs if i can find them

Remember, R800x users, if you're doing a fresh flash of this rom, you will need to remove those assert lines from the updater-script using notepad++ or similar program. I forgot about this and am now doing it myself.
Keiran I´m a n00b in anything related to this ROM but I´ve heard that this one is one of the most cools roms ever
So... Nightly will be updated daily since the settings of my play?

CM9 is (I think) the most popular AOSP-based rom (meaning it's derived from stock Android, without any manufacturer modifications). It adds extra settings, toggles, a theme framework, etc. Because of its popularity its usually quite stable and things get fixed pretty fast.

I don't really get what you mean but if you're just asking whether a new build will be released every day, yes. If you're asking whether it will automatically update after you've flashed it, I don't think so. You'll have to download and flash new builds yourself.

Bought this tablet to build a bridge to the new Nexus 10.
I have had the new Asus Transformer tf701 but it's terrible bad. The tf700 was way better build.
But anyway... Why is the XDA community so small here?
I don't see custom Roms based on stock. Why is that? I don't like CM and don'twa nt to lose feature as remote control.
Are the stock roms that good they don't need development?
And the funny thing is that Sony encourage Rom development.
Yeah I've had my tablet for a bit now and I'm pretty happy with stock though some stock based rom would be great if anybody could make one

tell me what somebody could modify on a stock rom of this baby...It's perfect(i use cm because i like the latest and greatest but stock roms are perfect)
There is already a stock based ROM to be created, but it is being delayed. I'm the official tester (though not the one making it), and I'm waiting for it new stuff to test for weeks... Om going to contact the dev in the weekend to see the progress...

in relation to previous comments, i agree that stock 4.3 rom is good. it has a few bugs but i can live with it..
it's smooth and no lags.. games are excellent.. plus xposed framework for xperia is filling up some extra features..
themes are good.. that's my personal opinion,,,

I must agree in everything you all say. I underestimated the tablet Z. It's better than the tf700. And the looks and feel are very convenient.
Sony did a great job on this.
I am a bit of a flashoholic that's why I have asked.... But why change something when it's already good. And with xposed there is a lot of personal tweaks possible.
Never the less, would be great to try some custom stock Roms.
BTW is there a xposed mod to set the navigation bar to the left again? Still don't understand why they did that on a 10 inch tablet

Nope but hardware-wise we are very similar to the Nexus 5 so it ought not be too long before we see it. I'm just having a mess about with it, I'll report back if I find anything interesting
Damn. If the nexus 5 did not have a battery and camera that sucks, would have gotten it. But I love my G2 so no regrets as well whatsoever. hope someone ports it so we can flash it as well.

Something like this perhaps?

Using pure nexus ROM on my 3 yr old nexus 4 and that ROM is buttery smooth
If pure nexus ROM could make it to op2 then it would be really great
I don't think nx ROM is same as pure nexus ROM, or is it ?

hey, what do you know? it boots perfectly on my phone, too! (the pics are taken with an Xperia E1, a lousy phone but I hope it's still visible enough)

well...like i said before, it's a pretty decent rom, pure aosp looks to me...i say again, i havent tested it rigorously but all the 'crucial' features seem fine, first hand information (installed it again just to show that)
I cleaned flash v10.4 coming from OOS3.1 but It didn't work. May be I was just unlucky. I tried it twice. My variant is A2005

yeh , it’s very stable in latest version and used it as daily driver
BTW
What op is asking for is pure nexus ROM and not nx ROM
Pure nexus is different from nx ROM and IMO better than the latter one.
So any dev out here, can get pure nexus ROM for our op2,
would be awesome

Nx rom was always one of my favorite roms on my Moto g3. I love nx rom. I have absolutely no intention to do a bad advertisement against it. And I was not the only one with booting issue. The problem might be on my side but I hope to come back to it soon.

nx rom dont have features . it is more likely stock android
so plzz dont post abt nx rom , it might confuse others.
I also installed this ROM everything is working very good except 1 thing i have found, that if screen is turned off fingerprint unlock have delay until unlock, does anyone have such issue? Or does anyone now how to solve it? When screen is on fingerprint unlocks good
