afaik the last custom rom version in which it worked were cm 10.1 (android 4.2.2) based roms. everything after that cannot handle usb audio.
stock roms are working though

i think there is no interest of doing it, as only few people use it. and afaik it also only affects some devices like s3.
so if you need it i would suggest you to use a stock rom or to dualboot

I think CM10 does. But you can confirm that.
Most CM10 based roms have the required kernel support for it, but I could never get it working properly, I don't think it is capable hardware-wise.

You will need to use a device id hack to fool whatsapp into thinking you are on a phone. Just search for one on the forums.

[Q] [Slimbean 4.3] MHL/HDMI enabled?

Anyone knows if Slimbean 4.3 (v1.2) has MHL/HDMI enabled?
Sorry, I can't ask on the dev-thread yet as I haven't posted 10 "simple" posts yet

SlimBean 4.2.2 build 6.5 had it implemented in m7xx (whatever phone that might be ) and with build 7 it was implemented in (normal?) M7.
The Galaxy S2's hardware supports it (with Sam's original rom). So it should be possible to take that code (driver?) and implement it in SlimBean (or whatever Rom you want for Galaxy S2).
Am I wrong?

Thanks for answering. Would it work again if I were to go back to Samsungs official stock 4.1.2 VJMS3 ?
And if so, would you think I could keep root?
Install a custom stock rom mate.

[Q] How to use g shock GB 6900AB bluetooth watch with HTC desire x

Hi. I was wondering if it was possible to pair my watch via Bluetooth with the phone. Because it isn't officially supported although there is a thread which has an app that can let any 4.3 and above device connect to the watches and use their functions. I am running ViMiRo ROM at the moment. Please help. I am new to this.
Sadly, all our availible roms are below android 4.3.

This was posted when 4.3 didn't exist. I've been using it for quite a while now but my watch still doesn't work. It says bluetooth low energy not supported.

On desire x? Which rom are you on. Which version of android?
You'll have to use CM 10.2 which is Android 4.3. CM 10.1 is Android 4.2 (and won't work...)

I neither have the phone nor the watch, so I can't help... sorry. You have to ask someone else then. You can install the app on the phone? Does bluetooth work properly?

If I remember correctly ANT+ is proprietary software so there is very little motivation for OSS projects to support it
thanks..

I think some mods around support it, for example I heard GoldenEye does for S4. ANT has some open source on GitHub "https://github.com/ant-wireless/". There are lots of proprietary things in Android especially in wireless techs, so I don't think that is primary reason.
