[Q] Kdlinks A200 How to image sd card - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I would like to be able to make an Image of the SD card in my Kdlinks A200. The unit runs Jellybean 4.2.2
I have already tried making an image with Win32Diskimager and several others I could find. But when I copy the image to a new card the unit will not boot or do anything.
I was wondering there is some special way this has to be done ?
Here is the units system specs
State of the Art Technology: New Cortex A9 Solution with Mali-400MP2 GPU, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB T-Flash; 4000+ DMIPS Computing Power; Android 4.2.2 Pre-Installed. Support Dolby Digital 5.1/7.1, TrueHD 5.1/7.1, DTS-MA and DTS-HD.
I attached a zip file with a photo of the system board.
I would really appreciate any help I can get with this
Derek.

I guess there's not much point asking a question here !

[Q] Newbie - Android Storage and Sumvision Media Player

Hi
Newbie question - I saw a Sumvision Cyclone Media Player Slim Plus online running Android 4.0 which seemed to offer 1Gb ROM and 2 GB SD,,,,when delivered Android seemed to report 502Mb for Internal Storage and 236Mb for SD.....I read this as 512Mb and 256Mb but this did not match what I expected.
After contacting Sumvision they insisted that the label for the device "M3" was a 1Gb model - they said the above was shown because Android does not show a true ROM size. They said a 3rd party app may show true storage.
I tried 6 different storage managers from Play Store...all showed 502Mb/236Mb.
I don't know if the story from Sumvision is baloney.....please could someone advise me......on top of all that I don't know ROM/RAM differentiation on Android ??
Thanks

Bump ! (sorry...)

[Q] THL W6 - running out of space

Hi guys,
I got a new THL W6 from Hong Kong and I am running out of space. I also bought a 32 GB micro SD hoping it will solve my problem.
So my problem is, when I try to move an app from phone to SD, it goes to internal memory.
So my phone has 3 storage location, Phone memory, Internal memory, and my SD card.
So how do i solve this without rooting (don't want to root 'cause it will void my 1 yr warranty) my phone? I've tried apps2sd and a whole lot of others, also tried downloading APKs to my SD hoping it will install it there, but it didn't work.
Thanks.
Phone Specs:
Brand / Model: Thl W6
CPU: Cortex A9 MT6577 1.0GHz
GPU: PowerVR SGX531
OS: Android 4.0.4
Memory:RAM : 1GB / ROM : 4GB eMMC
Screen: 5.3" QHD, 960 x 540, 16M Colors,IPS-LCD Capacitive Multi Touch Screen
Network: Dual Sim, supports W+G / C+G
2G:GSM 850/900/1800/1900
3G: WCDMA 850/2100MHz
For complete specs, search ebay for THL W6.
Without root access you have not got chance to solve it.
app2sd works for certain applications only, not for all.

resize partitions and use SD instead of NAND

Hello !
I've a small Android tablet : Nextway F7 (seams to be the same than Pipo U2), a 7" RK3066 on 4.1.1 . It has 16Go of memory, but part in 1Go for principal memory and all remaining memory considered as "SD", so additional installations are done on it. It has a real microSD slot free named "tflash".
I'd like to use all the NAND as main memory and my real SD as "SD". How to modify parameters in Android, or a ROM file ? I can flash my device if needed.
I've tried to find a tutorial for doing that, without any success.
Thank you for your help and please excuse my english (perhaps the reason I can't find tutos).

help me, TWRP not recognize the internal memory and external memory card

Hello everybody. I created TWRP first time, I'm happy for that, but unfortunately my TWRP recognizable external memory card and internal memory of the machine. I had to learn on the network, known as the unedited memory partition, but I do not know how.

Galaxy K Zoom 64GB internal memory

Hello friends,
I have a Galaxy K Zoom and every user of this phone knows that it has a very limited internal storage space. It is possible to circumvent this (in parts) using a large SD card, but this does not work for the programs, which must be installed in the internal memory.
The internal memory IC that comes with it is the KLM8G1GEAC-B001, an eMMC v4.5 of 8GB, I bought a KLMCG8GEAC-B031, an eMMC v5.0 with incredibles 64GB, as we can observe this latter, besides having greater capacity , still counts on version 5.0 (The SoC Exynos 5260 supports this version), that is, twice the speed of reading and writing.
My question here is: I know how to solder and unsolder BGA chips, but I'd like to know how to transfer all the data, partitions and PIT to the new eMMC, but I'd also like to know how to increase the partition /data to take advantage of all additional space.

I might not be of much help, all I know is Heimdall' s pit-tool.. But here you go:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...t/guide-enlarge-datafs-partition-rid-t2353551
I think that once you replace the memory you can through ODIN, flash the STOCK ROM that recreates the partitions: boot, modem, date, etc... but... correct me if I'm wrong.
