So I have the G5, and just wondered, has anyone found a way to get the V10's manual video settings on the G5? The app Cinema FV-5 works great. It lets mecontrol aperture and white balance manual while shooting video, but controlling focus and changing ISO manually doesn't really...work. It sometimes does, sometimes doesn't, but mostly doesn't. So my question is, since some manual functions do seem to work for video recording, has anyone found a way to get full manual control over video recording yet?
Maybe later when the development starts kicking you will see V10 camera port. I miss 60FPS video.. I'm sure it is capable..even my old LG G2 could record 120fps, 1080p 60fps, 4K 30fps.

Open camera is working fine. And one of the few apps that can use the wide angle camera!
WHen I want perfect audio I connect my zoom h2n as external USB mic. Just buy a USB-C OTG adapter to USB 3.0 (normal size) and put it into your phone. Now I can make nice videos with perfect sound! With manual audio gain!

I use the 1080p 60fps mod and it works just fine.
Regarding manual mode video there is a lg v10 port but it crashes the camera app every time.
Why is my YouTube app SUDDENLY only showing 480p quality as the maximum option? This did not happen before as I can stream in 1440p maybe last week.
I have the H860N on v10d firmware. Is there any way I can report this to Google?

Mmmmmm, my problem is that the maximum quality in 60fps videos is 480p. Try watching other videos to see if there are more quality options.
You can try to clear data of Youtube app too.
I am using version M.A.D OS 8.0 of Android in Oukitel k6000 plus, and I have had problems to record videos with the front camera and in the instagram.
Front camera: When recording videos the image becomes very dark, impossible to see something, but for photos it is normal, the only problem is to record videos.
Instagram: The camera does not record videos nor does any of the instagram effects work, it always gives the error "An error occurred try again". Nothing to record anything, again, for photos works well.
Does anyone know how to help?

So I was trying Open Camera and testing various frame rates and resolutions but I found out something interesting. I turned on 4K resolution of front camera video and tried it. It somehow worked. I looked at the resolution of the video via Google Photos and it showed me resolution 2160x4096. Is this a bug or it is just FHD video somehow converted into 4k? Thanks.
thats amazing 4k
i have used open camera before, and this is real 4k , it look amazing when i watch on the laptop

It is actually advised that you shoot video against 60fps as the video will comes out pixelated as I experienced.
I stayed at 1080p30fps for the most time.
I don't think there will be a possible fix unless you root your device. But you may try recording 60fps with gcam to see if it helps. (I dun know if gcam support 60fps video tho)
