Nvidia Shield Tablet External 2 Internal issue - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, everyone! I got a 64GB MicroSD card for my Shield tablet so I can have a lot of space for apps and games. I've tried everything, followed maybe 5 or 6 tutorials to get External 2 Internal working. My tablet was rooted using Towelroot. I have made screenshots of all my settings. I'm still stumped... If there's another way to make apps install on the SD card, please let me know!

You can't install them onto your SD card. You can install them and then move the data to the SD card. Some games won't play from the SD card because it's not fast enough.

SD card corrupts constantly

Hi guys and guyettes. With both my Galaxy Tab 2 and Galaxy S2, when I unmount my SD card and then remount it, or take it out to use it elsewhere and then put it back in, all the files and folders on my SD card go corrupt. I've tried this with two 32GB cards and both happen the same, yet my 4GB memory card always works just fine. See the picture at the bottom for what happens.
I've formatted both cards in the tablet and on my PC, I've used the HP USB Disk Format tool, I've ran hwtest to make sure my cards are the capacity they are meant to be. I just can't see why this keeps happening.
Any clues?

Android 6.0 SD card REformat

So I'm on Android Marshmallow on Motorola Moto G3(2015) and have formatted my SD card as internal storage. Its not working after a month now for some unknown reasons. i do not care about the data. i want my SD card to be normal as like when i bought it. how to do so ?
The mobile is not able to recognize it or reformat it as internal storage/portable storage .
When formatting to internal again this message comes : attempt to invoke virtual method 'java.lang.String android.os.storage.VolumeInfo.getId()' on a null object reference.
When formatting to portable it says : done
but still unable to view/use it .

Anyone have an overall positive experience using adoptable storage?

I have an LG X Power LS755, great for gaming at $70. Sadly, it only comes with 16gb internal storage, ~9.8gb usable. So playing games like Mortal Kombat X quickly use up that space. I got a Sandisk SL16G A1 rated card and adopted via adb. MKX has no real problem running on the card, but several other games are buggy, or dont run at all. Also, I cannot seem to manage the internal storage once the sd card is adopted. I'll post a few screenshots from my phone. Anyone have better luck?

leftover data after moving games to SD card?

I have a Nokia 5 with (non-rooted) Android 8.1 and recently inserted an SD card. Afterwards I moved all my games from the Play Store over to the SD card (except the game Line Rider which cannot be moved). In Settings > Storage > Internal shared storage there still are 1.6 GB listed under Games (see attached screenshots below). I've read somewhere that even when moving games or apps to the SD card there might be some leftover data which cannot be moved. How do I find out to which games or apps this leftover data belongs to? I'm able to use Android ADB if that helps.
