I have an LG X Power LS755, great for gaming at $70. Sadly, it only comes with 16gb internal storage, ~9.8gb usable. So playing games like Mortal Kombat X quickly use up that space. I got a Sandisk SL16G A1 rated card and adopted via adb. MKX has no real problem running on the card, but several other games are buggy, or dont run at all. Also, I cannot seem to manage the internal storage once the sd card is adopted. I'll post a few screenshots from my phone. Anyone have better luck?

Hi guys and guyettes. With both my Galaxy Tab 2 and Galaxy S2, when I unmount my SD card and then remount it, or take it out to use it elsewhere and then put it back in, all the files and folders on my SD card go corrupt. I've tried this with two 32GB cards and both happen the same, yet my 4GB memory card always works just fine. See the picture at the bottom for what happens.
I've formatted both cards in the tablet and on my PC, I've used the HP USB Disk Format tool, I've ran hwtest to make sure my cards are the capacity they are meant to be. I just can't see why this keeps happening.
Any clues?

So I am planning on dropping by a corporate store tomorrow and buying three s4s. I called ahead and nobody has 32gb in stock yet. Is there any significant advantage to the 32gb? Is the data partition any bigger, or just sdcard? I don't care for /sdcard much because I won't use the storage for anything but app data. Also, does the new update let you move apps to the internal or external SD card?

For me it was a no brainer, with the same things installed on a 16gb I had 4gb of available space.

i am currently running cyanogenmod 10.1.3-spyder.
i have a curious problem: the total internal storage is listed at 3.01GB. with 1.04GB used for apps and 9.54MB used for cache, i would expect around 2GB of free space. but setting > storage only shows 314MB free space. moreover, when i try to install more apps, it tells me that i am running out of storage space.
see below screenshot to see what i mean.

i am quite new to this but am willing to learn and would like some help debugging this.
how do i go about investigating what's taking up the space?
thanks a lot in advance!
Hey, everyone! I got a 64GB MicroSD card for my Shield tablet so I can have a lot of space for apps and games. I've tried everything, followed maybe 5 or 6 tutorials to get External 2 Internal working. My tablet was rooted using Towelroot. I have made screenshots of all my settings. I'm still stumped... If there's another way to make apps install on the SD card, please let me know!

You can't install them onto your SD card. You can install them and then move the data to the SD card. Some games won't play from the SD card because it's not fast enough.
