Hi all! I am presently using Validus rom - 4.4.4 kitkat. Today, not sure if it an update that caused it, but I keep on getting "android.systemui has stopped" and it prevents me from working. As a result of this, I am thinking of trying out another rom. Any suggestions?

Plenty to choose from and you are obviously welcome to try any. You would be the first to run into that.
Did you flash clean?

I did wipe the cache through recovery mode & reflashed gapps but the problem persisted and was resolved by removing the google account from settings and signing again into google account.
As an excuse, I actually decided to try out another rom and wanted suggestions from the array of options

Many will not make those suggestions as it tends to pit one persons work against another. Also what works great on one device will or may not work the same on another. That is why you are encouraged to try many and depending on what kind of user you are, you may benefit from some more than others.
Hint: look into roms that have been around for a while. Post count will help you there. Start reading from the back of thread which will tell you the most recent issues folks may have been having. If you dont like the issue, or there is no solution, dont flash and move on.
Another hint on the cleanliness of a flash.
Factory wipe 3 time
Flash rom
Flash rom again as 2 different flashes can produce 2 different results.
Flash gapps
Wipe Davlik and Cache
Boot up and let sit 10 or so
Reboot and set up
That is as clean as you can get. System UI failure is common with dirty flash. Get all those file reminents out of there.
Have fun

I am back to having system UI failure. The problem came up after the automatic update of google play.
Now, the systemui failure has dissapeared after I re-flashed the Validus rom through the recovery mode. But the google play services are not working. The last time I was able to get all back to "normal" by also re-flashing gapss.
If I re-flash gapps, I guess I will have to remove the google account and re-sign in. But after another automatic update to google play services, I will be back to the system UI failure.
The options I see are:
1. Do a backup of my data and clean flash as suggested by Captemo. I think this is the best option.
2. Do option 1 but do not flash gapss. I read in a Security thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/security/security-android-security-conscious-mind-t2835412 about going with custom rom + nogapps. But then how do one use the google services - especially google play?
3. Do what I have done so far: no factory reset et al, reflash Validus, reflash gapps, remove google account and re-signin. And then prevent automatic update to google services; how can this be done - preventing automatic update to google play services?
Thanks
I have the same systemui loop problem
Don't bother with "clean" flash, it won't help with Validus rom. I did exact steps as suggested by Captemo. But when I'm updating Google+ to version Aug 12, I'm immediately getting com.android.systemui error loop. It's not completely fatal, could be fixed by wiping cache, dalvik, and data in recovery, and flashing previous version of Google apps. But in that case you will lose all other installed apps of course. In Google Play options you can disable automatic update of applications, and just ignore updates (for me it's only Google+, for example YouTube update is ok).
I like Validus rom, it's quite good, but not compatible with Google+ app somehow.
UPDATE: in Validus 6.1 this com.android.systemui error loop is FIXED! I have all Google applications up to date now.
Used "MINI MODULAR PACKAGE" from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942

1. Check 3G signal, basically is the internet working?
2. Try re-flashing CELB and make sure to flash the latest gapps too
It would be more helpful if you gave a more in depth view of your browser problem.
it would help you more if you posted this issue in CELB's thread. You will get better answers faster by people who use the rom and that may have came across the isssue

That's due to a recent change in XDA's site policy - new users can not post in the development sub-forums until they have at least 10 posts in other forums. So, you were right to post your question here, as you had no other choice. DirtyBubble apparently wasn't aware of this either, or he wouldn't have said that.
I tried a fresh install of 4.3 last night (w/ gapps 12/28), no bootloops, but no market access or Google account setups either. I'm going to look at a few different installs in a couple minutes - check back in this thread later.
bftb0
I tried the following 3 trials:
Before starting, I did a Nandroid backup (from within ROM Manager/Clockworkmod) of my existing ROM - CELB 4.1. (I am not sure of whether this 4.1 ROM had gapps 12/28 in it or not - I believe it does, but iirc they were installed on a CELB 3.9 ROM, and then just overflashed to 4.1)
1) Wipe Cache, Wipe Data/FR, Flash CELB4.3, Flash gapps 12/28
Result: account setup does not occur; market app crashes or closes immediately. Tried doing a FR on this; next boot the kernel actually crashed. Didn't bother to check the browser**
2) Wipe Cache, Wipe Data/FR, Flash CELB4.3, Flash gapps 10/18
Result: Provided account creds; phone sync'ed just fine and restored settings; Market works; Web Browser worked.
3) Wipe Cache, Wipe Data/FR, Restore CELB 4.1 from Nandroid backup; Flash CELB4.3; Wiped CACHE ONLY.
Result: Everything works, including stock browser.
** I didn't bother to check the browser in this case because I have little interest in using a ROM without a Gmail account; it did occur to me later, though, that the default setting of the browser has been to use location-services, and that the stock browser has exhibited crashes on startup on other ROMs that did not have a Google account configured. You can turn this off in the browser - but only if it doesn't crash, because you need to get to the browser settnigs menu to deal with this, so that is impossible in this case.
I don't know if that is your issue or not, but you could try turning off location services in the Settings menu and see if that makes any differences. (I don't know if that will work, but it is easy to try). Anyway, that's two solutions: either overflash 4.3 on top of a prior CELB ROM, or do a clean install of 4.3 using the 10/18 gapps. (If you do the former, you can only wipe cache at the end if you are using ClockworkMod - or manually via ADB if you are booted into Amon_RA).

Hey everybody -
This is my first post here. I'm sorry if there is an answer already posted to this and if i'm just reposting, but i haven't seen any of this information anywhere, and apparently i have to make 5 q&a posts before i can start posting stuff where i need too, so i'm trying to throw some useful info to the community to gain this privilage
Anyways, onto the topic -
Many people that are installing a new ROM on there EVO 3D are getting an error when google tries to auto install apps after flashing. The error states that there is not enough space left on their devices to continue installing apps, even though there are reports of users having 700+mb free for app storage. Developers are claiming that it's because you didn't wipe dalvik/cache before flashing. I've found that this is not true, but I do know the fix, but don't completely under stand why this happens.
The fix:
The fix to this problem is a very simple one.
1. Install the rom like you normally would (boot to recovery, NAND backup, wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, wipe partition cache, and wipe cache, then flash from zip, then select reboot device)
2. When the phone is booted up, type in all your info as usual to sync your accounts. When your done with this step, you'll notice google tries to start installing all of your apps, which it'll eventually crash on due to space.
3. You can do this before or after it throws you the error message about space, but the next step is reboot your phone back into recovery. From there, you're going to wipe your dalvik cache and cache (again), and then reboot the phone again.
That's it! You should now be able to install all of your apps again without getting storage errors!
I'm not a developer, but if i'm to take a guess at why this happens, i'm guessing something about the install, or maybe even the initial boot process of a rom being ran for the first time, for some reason is flooding our cache space, thus firing false alarms for being out of space. Therefor, by cleaning the cache space after the rom install is completed and booted, the phone no longer notices the space issues. I could be wrong on this, but this seems like a logical answer to me.
If this helps, let me know! Also feel free to correct me if i'm wrong on anything i posted, but this method seems to work for me! If this needs to be in a different category, feel free to move it! As a new member, i'm very limited on where i can post things...
Enjoy your newly rooted and modded EVO 3D!

no problem! this community has helped me TONS in the past, even though i haven't said anything about it (due to not being able to post in developer threads yet). I reflashed and wiped my phone about 4-5 times before realizing that the cache had to be cleaned AFTER the install and first boot of the new rom, and all the dev's kept stating it was from not wiping prior to flashing, which i did every time. Hopefully this will save some people time and headaches and i'm sure the dev's will soon find a fix to this, as they seem to work very fast at finding bugs and cleaning em up.
more or less i would say its because the market will download apps to the cache first...then install them to the phone...
the insufficient space is mostly what happens when the cache gets filled.
thats my educated guess on the matter.
also welcome to xda. you're gonna like it here
When I do this, it forgets all my 130 apps and I have to go look for them manually. Only ROMs that are using the new market do this to me.
Welcome to xda.
Another suggestion to add to the nice info here is. When you boot up a rom for the first time dont sign in. Immediately go to settings/accounts & sync and uncheck auto sync. Then head to settings/privacy then uncheck automatically restore. Then sign in. This is a option for anyone who doesn't want to reboot.

that would make a lot of sense as well - if that's the case, maybe people should let google market crash the cache before they clear it out again? that's what i did when i got it working... it was one of those things where i just watched and wondered, "is it going to do it all this time?", and of course when it didn't, that's when i discovered re-clearing the cache again in recovery fixes it. I noticed that by clearing the application cache (settings/applications/manage programs/market/clear cache) the problem still persists, and the only way to get google apps to install again is by clearing cache in recovery, which made me think it was an installation/boot thing. but i'm still learning, like many of us here
thanks for the input!

this is an issue i noticed as well - i had to re-add my apps manually after it only added 24 of the 120 i had going. but hey, beggers can't be choosers, and i'm just mostly happy that i got a new rom going with everything functioning properly within 2 weeks of the phones release!
If anyone knows how to re-start the app sync succesfully without space errors, that might be good info to include in this post

Did you clear the cache or data in the app itself or from recovery?? If you clear cache from recovery, this shouldn't happen. If it still does, usually downloading another app rebuilds the market cache.
What you can do to fix it is use Titanium Backup and there is a setting: Menu > More > Market Doctor and it fixes this issue. But, I think it only works in the paid version. It's well worth the few bucks though!

Recovery. Downloading another app doesn't rebuild the cache either. Now it's gotten to the point where no ROM will restore any of my apps at all, it basically thinks I've never downloaded anything. So now I've gotta try and remember the 130 or so apps I had installed.
Not complaining, just an observation. One of the caveats of rooting a new device
Welcome to the community.
A really easy way to fix this is to just clear the cache and data for the Market in Settings > Applications, and that has worked for numerous people using my ROM but I don't think it'd be any different for any other ROM.

I tried this method on vipers rc1.2 and supra ROM, and it didn't fix it for either - I continued to get insufficient space warnings, even after rebooting. The only thing that worked for my device was going into recovery to clear the cache.
You can also go into terminal emulator and delete the Download.apk files in the cache.
You'd think Google would be a little smarter at this. All the market would need to do is download fewer apps at a time, as the files are cleared once the installation is complete.

I feel a s0be market fix coming on. Although I have not seen the issue, you could pwn the cache and symlink it out of /data and into /system. A genious linux guy, seriously, genious, made this hack back on the hero, fixed market download errors EVERY time.

You could try reflashing the rom and signing into your google account right away. And let it sync. Just a thought.

That won't make any difference if there is no room to actually store the downloads. Downloads from the Market go into /cache while downloading and then move to /data/app or /system/app, depending on the app. Hence why clearing cache fixes it.

That's what causes the market problem - I tried wiping and flashing both roms multiple times with the same result - if you flash a new ROM with the new market, and your market tries to sync a large number of apps, its going to flood the cache space and stop allowing the installation of apps until you go into recovery and clear the cache there... Then it all works fine, except for having to add all your apps one by one.

I tried something similar, but not exactly like you said earlier. I set my accounts to sync, but immediately went into the market while it was syncing, and cancelled everything. This would've still left the user picking each app to re-download one by one, because I believe there's no way to restart the app sync. I ended up buying titanium, and used that to put all my apps back on - its much less of a headache.
Hi everyone, this is my first post and I precise that I have done as many and accurates research for my problem, without answers (on both XDA Forum and Google). So this is my problem:
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII AT&T(obviously) and since a while, I am unable to download any applications from the market properly. This is how it happens:
-When I accept the terms and launch the download, it keeps on "Downloading" without starting properly and is cancelled after several minutes.
-When I accept the terms and launch the download, it keeps on "Downloading" during several minutes before starting.
-And some VERY RARE times the download starts automaticly just after hitting "Accept..."
I also noticed that when I try to download applications from the play store via the mobile network, all works fine but whenever I go back on the WiFi network, I face the same issue. I have also tried to flash different ROMS(JellyBean). My phone is also rooted.
Thank you for your consideration and help if possible.
Did you try to clear data from Google Play and Google Play Services?
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
Yes I did. And it seems that it's a problem with all Google's services:
-I can't watch any videos from on YouTube, same problem of infinite loading without starting.
It's not a problem of slow connection as I download ROMs and other stuf without major or significative network speed problem.
By the way, thank you for your care.
Wipe everything and do a fresh install.
This what I do each time by reflashing the same ROM or flashing others one.
-Wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-format system(when asked)
-wipe dalvik cache
-Flash the rom (and latest gapps when necessary)
-Reboot system... set up my phone and restore user apps via Titanium Backup.
Also of course if you change your DPI to a non stock value or use inverted apps packages that can cause the issue. But in assuming you know that already so if that's not the issue i dunno what it could be.
No inverted apps neither non stock dpi since it happens even from MIUI roms to Shostock3 pasing by AOKP and CM ROMs. I'll try with a different WiFi later as I think it's a problem with my WiFi but it was working fine before those 4 weeks.
Edit: Problem solved! Looks like it was an issue from nowhere.. Anyway, Thank you all for your help, it's good to get one's updates back
I have a Note 2 (obviously), and I have rooted my phone the first day I got it and have never updated the phone since I purchased it. So, I am still on 4.1.2. My phone has been super laggy and I want to take the oppurtunity the when I reset my phone that I can take advatages of the new features that mobile phones have by upgrading all the way to 5.1.x.
So, I downloaded CM 12.1 by wilson3q with 5.1 system. I first tried the 5.0 version since the 5.1 looked too new, and did not have time to deal with the bugs. When I flashed the 5.0 version, I got errors of not being able to flash gapps for 5.0 and that I lost my root. I tried downloading the new TWRP to see if I can get a newer version that would work better, but no luck. I got an error saying that I lost my root privileges and did I want TWRP to fix it. I slid yes to fix, but no luck.
The same problem occurred when I tried with 5.1.
So, I ended up restoring my nandroid backup and I am back on 4.1.2 again with root working again.
I am thinking that I am probably supposed to 'step up' the updates, but not sure. Does anyone have a solution or a link to the solution that they can help with?
PS: I did not like the camera that came with the new mod. I do like the stock one. Are there flashes of cameras that I can use as well when I do end up upgrading?
Thank you in advance!!!

Try Phiz recovery, I've never had trouble with "[I605][CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch". If I recall we had to start using that one when kit-kat was released (i reserve the right to recall poorly)

from your new recovery, you should be able to install CM12.1 and 5.1 gaaps recommended in the Wilson3Q i605 thread. from here:

FWIW, I am on the 20150803 build and still using the GApps Minimal Edition 2015-04-04 for Android 5.1 (91 MB) from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-google-apps-minimal-edition-t2943330
with no issues to report.
You may also need to track down updated radios (to flash from CWM). I think you can find a link to the updated ND7 Modem/Baseband here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2765021
somewhere in middle of first post
Good Luck!
PS you may want to flash superSU from recovery... get the zip from chainfire's xda thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
(I've been dirty flashing for so long I dont' remember if the rom came with SuperSU or superuser... as such I can't recall if I had to flash this zip or not, but I probably did if I had issues with root)
Note you may also need to enable root from the settings menu after enabling developer mode.
there should be a "root access" option (or somehting like that there)
PPS are you also remembering to wipe data & clear cache/dalvik?
I have found zoot's mega wipe useful...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1983489
it is for the N7100/N7105, butI have used it on the i605 quite a bit. Initial test result reported here:

that said zoot's script is probably overkill

I assume that you are giving steps in order, BUT I feel that I should flash the radio to 4.4.2 first, in which the link was broken. I have spent a couple hours trying to find another link, but I am afraid that I may be using an incorrect one. Do you have a good link for that, please?
Also, I have ready the newest Samsung 3.10 Odin downloaded and installed, as well as the USB driver installed and downloaded the ADB fastboot. If I remember correctly, I am supposed to move this onto C: and run it to access the device (Note 2). It has been since Android first came out since I have used the ADB though. So, I apologize for the ignorance. So, do I just make sure the adb is in the same directory and run Odin or did I not need ADB and just run Odin?
I also assume that I run the Philz touch after I have gotten to 4.4.2 rooted first. Am I correct by assuming that?

Yes, I have done a cache/dalvik wipe a few times (because I have tried reflashing to get it to work with no luck).
I have downloaded the .zip version of superSU as well, and gapps minimal 5.1 with wilson3q's 5.1 ROM. So, I am almost ready to go with the exception of the correct radio upgrade file.
Thank you so much for your help!!! Much appreciated!
PS Will my old WifiTether apk files still work with 5.1 or do I need to get a new one?
Thanks Again!
No need for Odin....

Just flash philz from twrp. Reboot recovery wipe/reset... then flash new ROM gaaps... Wipe/reset... Then reboot.
I can post the radio zip to my site later tonight. I believe you can flash that last, or later (from philz cwm, after getting on cm12.1)
Same as superSU. Check out ROM first. It comes with root that can be enabled in developer options. you can always reboot to recovery later and flash the zip.
PS. WiFi tether built into ROM "hotspot" (no VZW subscription required)
Pps try this for the nd7 radios

Sorry to bother you, but I still am getting errors with Failed root access for Titanium Backup Pro. I also cannot find Developer Options in the settings menu.
I have tried flashing the radio before and after wiping and installing the ROM then gapps then superSU. I get into superSU and it asks me for root access and I grant it, but Titanium Backup Pro still says that it has no root access.
Any ideas? Thank YOU!!

with SuperSU installed, you may need to just need to update binaries. open SuperSU and it should prompt you if necessary. the "normal" option should work (no need to flash from recovery)
for TiBu...
--within SuperSU settings you may need to disable (uncheck) "mount name separation".
--You may also have to enable unknown sources (under settings, security).
-- there might be something to enable for USB debugging as well (TIBU should prompt for it)
FWIW, you can restore user apps/data... but I would not attempt to restore any system data. Personally, I have found it best to get to know a fresh ROM for a while before trying to restore crap from an older ROM . there might be value in re-configuring apps manually and/or restoring them one at a time (after making sure the ROM is working properly) i.e. you won't need any of those aforementioned WiFi tether apps since it is built into the ROM now.
Instructions on enabling developer options in CM ROM, from here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_developer_options
1- In the Settings app, select About Phone (or About Tablet).
2- Scroll down, and tap the Build number entry seven times. On the seventh tap, you will be notified that "You are now a developer."
3- Return back to the main Settings menu. Developer options and Performance entries should now be visible.

(that is likely how to enable superuser that is "baked" into the rom, given you already installed SuperSU it may only complicate matters)
You may be rooted and just having TiBu issues. If all else fails you can check with an app. A long time ago, I've used "Simple Root Checker" by SimoneDev to check root/busybox. It is still in the play store.
Good Luck!

Thank you! It ended up being my version of Titanium Backup. I downloaded a new version and it is good. As far as restoring is concerned, I do not even want the apps themselves restored from there, because there may be a new version and would like a fresh install of those apps. I just want my data restored. For example, I have a surveillance software that I would just like to restore the entries (IP's usernames and passwords). I would like my email settings to be there, so that I do not have to re setup my 7 email addresses. My Text/SMS messages and my alarms. So, I am not trying to do a full restore.
On another note, I am trying to get my calendars back into my phone with no luck. I cannot install google calendar and get my google calendars to populate into my task widget, and the ROM is not letting me set up my POP email addresses. Also, I see no ringtones, so I have no ringers to ring my phone nor tones for my alarm clock. I flashed gapps for 5.1 and I see nothing extra from the ROM. I thought gapps was google apps. Am I trying to do stuff differently than you? There seems to be a few problems in that manner that I am trying to work with.
I am thinking of downgrading to 5.0. Maybe the 5.1 is too new?
Again, THANK YOU for your help!

I wouldn't downgrade, nobody is actively working on 5.0.2 anymore.... that thread is basically dead. Also, it is likely less "stable"/mature than what you have installed now (that is currently being maintained). i.e. you have the ROM that I would stick with.
like I said I wouldn't restore any thing into system (apps or data)... you can do whatever you please. (but it could be causing you more issues than just biting the bullet & configuring manually) i.e. restoring accounts might result in unanticipated issues, you came from a much older version of android.
all I had to do was install google calendar from play store and then the CM12 calendar stuff all worked (I might have had to restart and/or install the google calendar prior to setting up primary gmail). you might need to remove all your accounts and load them again (a factory reset might be faster though.)
also you might have to update google services and the play store before certain things "play nice".
I know you don't want to hear this but...
from here on out i'll likely point to all your issues being based on restoring system data. (based on my limited knowledge and personal experience). FWIW, I'd try to reconfigure/setup everything manually and you will likely have much better results.

I figured that, and feared that and the same time. So, what am I flashing onto the phone with gapps then? Also, one of the reasons I was wanting to go back was because there are a few apps that are not 'compatible' with this system. Meanwhile, I am going to wipe and reset again, and do what you suggested and just reconfigure.
Thanks again!

GAaps are the google apps... good read:
http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/Google_Apps
(hopefully I am not out of line for posting a link to that wiki)
many ROMS like CM don't' include gaaps due to licencing/legal issues. which is why the AOSP roms devs often have you flash the GAAPS package separately (also you can pick your package for your fact pattern... full gaaps/minimal gaaps/etc.).
Also the gaaps zip files you flash from recovery install the files into system. a lot of folks like the minimal editions of GAaps because it doesn't force all the apps into system. instead it just gets you up and running with the play store and a few essentials... that lets the user install all the other google apps as user apps, from the play store.
basically taking the "debloat" mentality as far as you can... keep stuff out of system and let the user decide what to install.
I have flashed the Candy5 rom a few times, but I am not able to get the facebook app to install. I have tried serveral Gapps. Is this a common thing or is there something I can do to fix this?
I posted in the Candy5 rom thread a few times, but I am unable to post there again because I have less than 10 posts?
I understand the work around to this problem could be, do without the facebook app and just login using a web browser. I just want to know if this is a common problem among flashing new/custom roms?
Seems like I was finally able to get the facebook app to install. It hung up on install but I just waited and waited and it finally successfully installed this time. We shall see if it fails to update/install in the future.
Well It won't let me move it to the sd card, and now I am stuck trying to re-install it again. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried converting it to a user app using titanium backup? Not sure if this would help. These new roms are just beginning to become stable though so expect some bugs in the lollipops until the devs have a chance to perfect them. Is there a particular reason you need to have it on sd card?

I am not sure about converting to a user app with titanium backup. I would like to move it to the sd card to save some space, but when apps get moved there, they seem to disappear sometimes and they don't like to update. The facebook app is the worst. It doesn't want to install and if you get it installed it doesn't want to update. Thanks for your reply.
I have not had any issues installing Facebook so in bit sure what to say. Is your device telling you that's it's out of space?

No, it just takes a long time downloading and then it says it is installing, but it doesn't install. I think a couple of times it might have said error 904, but I am not certain.
I do have it installed after many attempts, but it says it needs updated, and it goes back to the downloading & installing, but failing. Some of my other apps seem to disappear from my home screen and I have to drag them back out again and some apps disappeared and I had to reinstall them.
I did a fresh flash, wiped dalvik cache/cache/system/ before I flashed the v3.6 with the 09/09/15 gapps. Should I restore it to an earlier backup and update/flash through the Candy OTA instead?
I could try uninstalling the facebook app and try to reinstall it, but I am worried that might not work because this has happened to me on earlier roms too. Also crashes when I open a website link or youtube video in the facebook app.
I uninstalled the Facebook app then reinstalled it, but it appeared to hang up on install again. I shut down my device and waited for a minute or two and then turned it back on. While booting, it said Candy5 is optimizing Facebook app. Now the google play store shows the app is up to date.
I then tried opening a YouTube link from Facebook and it crashed to the home screen. Sometimes it shows the Samsung loading screen briefly, only with the Facebook app. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure which gapps you're using but maybe try another version. Make sure they are small or Pico gapps 5.1 version. Not the old 5.0
I am using the mini gapps from the op link.
Should I wipe internal & external SD cards also and flash again? When I wipe in twrp, I go to advanced wipe, dalvik cache/cache/system/data. I usually repeat that a few times before flashing the ROM.
I think my problem was due to file conflicts. I also had my original jellybean installed in twrp recovery backups and maybe the two different versions caused a conflict? I wiped everything and am now able to install facebook and move it to my sd card.
This is what I was worried about. It happened again during an update. Do I need to keep flashing gapps updates?
I just updated gapps to the 09/17/15 version and got this error now. I know I have plenty of space.
I was able to get the Facebook app installed again. I had to uninstall some apps and music to make space, which doesn't make sense because my 29 GB SD card was not even close to being full.
I am on Candy 9-08 build. I can install Facebook but can't update or move it to SD card. So if there is a new version, I have to uninstall and reinstall from the playstore. This usually takes a while and requires a reboot.
It probably something to do with the Facebook app. It used to work fine but stopped working a few months ago for me. I was on the 3-16 build of Candy for a while.

What I have to do to get installed is going to play store, initiate the download and install. When it's sat there for a little bit, reboot the phone.
