ONE MAX Not charging and not booting - HTC One Max

Hello everyone,
Yesterday my max's battery is completely run down to zero. And this morning when i tried to charge it nothing happened.it's not charging, no red led, and not boot.
What i tried;
1- tried different charger
2- tried different cables
3- tried usb cable with pc
4- tried to boot bootloader with vol- + power button for 20 secs and more
5- tried vol+ + power button for 2 mins (thats what htc service member told me)
6- tried vol- + power button for 15-20 secs with bright light on light sensor
Nothing worked. Do you have any idea ?

Try call HTC support. Might get a free warranty from them. Never know.

Leave it plugged it all night see if much happens after that

@Flyhalf205
İ will do that.thanks for your advice.
@ nathlynn22
İts on charger right now.we will see what will happen in the morning.thank you

So leaving it all night plugged in didnt help.I contact with HTC Turkey but they said that phone does not have warranty in Turkey because it came from Germany. So i wrote to them and waiting for their answer. By the way the guy in HTC USA told me that it looks like hardware issue
I wonder how the hell battery drain could cause a hardware issue. Phone is only one month old.I didnt play games only web surfing and other things. No overclock, no voltage settings.Damn my 2 years old iocean x7 still works perfect and my girlfriend play games all day with it.

Is there anyone knows which pins are ground and positive on the back of the phone ?
Edit: I found it, but the trick didn't work.If anyone wonders, the bottom pin is ground and the top pin is +

This might sound silly but it's worth a go. Try to turn it on whilst shining a bright light at the sensor.
Also try holding the power and volume down simultaneously while shining a light at the sensor.
Sorry didn't see that you already tried this. I must read properly in future.

Awhile a ago there were quite a few threads made about this program. I can't remember what the process was but one of them called htc and they ran them threw a battery calibration check.

Hmm, well I know it restarts the phone. I don't really see how it calibrates a battery.

Slept on my phone. Now its dead!

Hi guys
I woke up today snuggled up on top of my phone. Now when I try and boot her nothing happens! I've tried removing the batter and powering up. Also leaving it for a few hours with no power or battery but no joy. What could of happened?
Thanks
Maybe she's angry at you, as didn't even buy her lunch before sleeping with her.
Anyway, did you try charging it?
Also did you try any of the button combos, like power + volume up+home button to get in to recovery or power+ volume down+home buttons to see if you can get into download mode?

Haha, nice.
And it sounds like battery problems, if you can't get into DL mode or recovery try a new battery.
She's still angry at me. I've tried pressing all her buttons but shes still not talking to me. I'll try another battery but should it not boot with just usb power?
Cheers

[Q] Bricked?

Basically I’ve been trying N4 conversion and everything went smooth to the point where phone should reboot but never did.
The only signs of life are short red led blink when I holds power button ( holding power+ vol up or power+vol up+vol dawn do not produce any effects) and my laptop detect an usb device: qhsusb_dload and could not find drivers for it.
Any suggestion?

Thank you for the info.
I've gave it a try but there is very short ribbon cable that is going to the camera lens and i do not want to torn it off.
Since i just bought it a couple days ago i will go to the store for replacement.

This happened to me a few times. You can get into download mode under this circumstance. Redo the LGNPST N4 conversion. Press and hold vol down and up at the same time and plug in the USB,pressing the power button never worked for me as the last button sequence for getting into download mode.

[Q] HTC One Hard Bricked! Help me please!

I've searched the forums of XDA and I've scoured the internet via google search and found nothing pertinent to my situation so I hope you guys can help! It seems I've hard-bricked my month-old HTC One. Never dropped it or got it wet.. Never even rooted or unlocked the bootloader.. it's completely stock. (I've been waiting very patiently for that 4.2.2 update to roll out for AT&T)
It just went completely dead earlier tonight as I was browsing the Play Store. I've tried to perform a reset by pressing the power button and down volume, but even after a full 60 seconds.. nothing. I've plugged it in the wall and no light comes up in the speaker grill. I've plugged it into my computer and nothing shows up.
Is there any way to fix this through ADB? Is there way to recover my data using ADB or some data recovery program on PC (or Linux)? Or is my best option to just take it back to the AT&T store and start anew? Thank you for your time/help XDA peeps!

Does any lights on the buttons come on ? Will the red light in the speaker grill come on connected to the charger?
I have read somewhere if you put the phone under bright lights then try to boot into the bootloader it will work, Sounds crazy I know but it works for some. Past experience on the HTC is if the battery is super low , like down to 30 % or less it wont come on. Have you tried to connect to a charger and leave it for a few hours then try ?

Nope, nothing.. No lights in the speaker grill at all when plugged in. I came across that light sensor trick and held my phone a foot away from vanity lights in the bathroom (should be bright enough right?) and tried to boot into the bootloader.. nothing. My battery was at about 60% when it did this last night. I tweeted HTCUSA and they told me to do a similar thing (put it on wall charger for a couple hours) and yep still nothing.

I know this sounds stupid, but is the cable good ? The one that came with the phone and charger? Have you tried other cables? Do you have adb set up right on the PC? Tried any adb commands to boot to bootloader? Last resort I can come up with. Have you run an RUU for your model and carrier?
same prob as OP
this same thing is what i am having a problem with this is the second time it has happened to me the first time it froze and i held the power button to turn it off and after about 10 min of holding various button combos it finally came on after holding the power button for a good 5 min.

Usually for the HTC ( well my experience). Holding the power button with the volume down button at the same time for an extended time, the lights at the bottom will flash for about 13 times continue holding the volume down button and release the power button. It should boot into the bootloader. From there, reboot, boot recovery or boot fastboot. IF this doesn't work, I have read in the posts here to hold the sensors under bright light and do the power down and volume down . If just rebooting the phone only hold the power button down. The lights on the bottom will still flash about 13 times and the phone will vibrate then release the button and it should reboot.
If the adb is working there is a mod called Regaw ModRebooter, which when installed sits quietly on the task bar or hidden icons. Just clicking will reboot to bootloader, recovery or reboot or power off the phone. I find this easier than using the buttons or just use ADB commands. Phone must be plugged in to PC to work though

[Q] Phone stuck!!!

Need some help over here.
My phone is updated to the newer version of android. It is no rooted, and i have never tried so.
My phone doesn't responde to the power button. (so I can't open it).
I tried to restart while holding the power button + vol down button,
the only responce is a roar from the vibrator.
I can't charge it (the red lamp doesn't light).
Althought I can feel that is reletavilly hot
What should I do?

Try a different plug point.. are you using the original charger ???
This usually happens if you are using a different charger with Incompatible voltage..
Or could be something else also which i am not sure though ...Was just trying to help you..Sorry if i couldnt.. :highfive:
Nope, this not helps.
I am feeling that everyconthing has wiped from the phone.
I do not know why.
The phone is in stock condition.
Any other advice?
This may seem stupid but try to call it from another phone, there is a "small tiny" chance that you hear it ring or beep on the other phone.
The reason I am telling you this is the "vibration" you feel with no display. There might be an issue with your screen. Give it a try.
If it's not rooted then you have your warranty , so call customer service and give your phone in if the problem persists with no solution.
Good luck

Moto E: nothing shown on screen, white LED is blinking long short

I reflashed to stock rom. After that (succesful boot), it suggest to update to a newer Firmware. I agreed. Then it doesn't awake anymore.
Even long press to power there is no sign of life.
If I plug the power, the white LED goes on for a certain time. I guess it is until it is fully charged.
After this it starts blinking: long, short, long, short .. a few times, than it stops
After pressing the keys, blinking starts again - with no stop until unplugging USB.
Is there any hope to recover it. This time I have not much hope ....
In my moto E, when I connect to charger, the white light blinks for 1 sec, then goes off. No long press, anything is working

1. Press and hold power button and connect the charger
If white screen appears then go for next step
2. Unplug the charger once and again connect your charger without pressing any button
3. Let your mobile get charged
4. Then flash stock/custom ROM (search in XDA thread)
NOTE : Don't use stock charger(default charger comes with your mobile kit)
USE DIFFERENT CHARGER
Hope it helps you:good:

Used a Samsung Charger, pressed power and plugged in. Nothing happened first. After a while (i guess I released the button) the white LED starts blinking again. And it still blinks.
I haven't seen anything on screen since this update happened ...
Seems to be really screwed.

No, Power + Volume down (also tried Volume up) - nothing helped.
The only sign of life is the white LED that seems to indicate charging (if it is on/not blinking).
The second is this strange blinking, I can start with Power + Volume down (but only if USB cable is plugged).
But a "adb usb" reports "no device/emulators found"

From my experience the White LED goes on (not flashing) if it charges.
It goes off after fully charged. I keep it on charger for many hours.
The LED flashing only happens If I try to go into fastboot while USB is plugged.

You should try to go into fastboot when the phone is fully charged ,rather than when it is being charged ,I have seen it that behaves weirdly when trying to enter into fastboot with the charger being plugged in .

A question, which stock ROM version did u flash 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 ?
I was on Lineage, flashed back to stock. Probably to 4.4.2. Than it wants to update to newer stock release, guess 4.4.4 but not sure. Do you think this matters?

See other threads, u did a mistake by flashing 4.4.2 . You should have flashed 4.4.4 instead. Accepting the OTA, you have hard-bricked your device. It can't be restored as of now. Buy a new device
