Is there any way to change the carrier name in the notification bar, I've been searching forever and I havn't found anything. I've looked through framework-res.apk with no success. Does anyone know how to do this?

I can't put my phone in diag mode since I have flashed cyanogenmod and diag mode seems to be something for htc.

Hello there.
I have an Motorola atrix 4g .
I searched in system and i didn't find that .xml file..
so i cant try what you did, and probably your apk in market wont work..
Any ideas? where to search and find that file?
i 've only found apn settings..

i have made changes to this apk theme (mainly battery bar) i cant seem to get the apk installed any one able to help with this i will be VERY Thankful

the first time yea i erased the meta folder and signed it but i kept getting a parsing error with signapktic second time i just add the files in and it actually attempted to install it but failed at the end

And modify system files is impossible without being rooted

Hi All,
I use a rooted Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i. I have a stock ROM. I tried changing the boot animation by downloading one through ROM-Toolbox and copied it in system/media using root explorer and renamed it as bootanimation.zip. Also, I deleted bootsamsung.qmg from this location. Still the same old boot animation is displayed.
Please help me fix this.

How to enable/add new display language for Xperia Sola. I have custom JB ROM based on Ultimate ROM v11 and Experimental Kernal v11*. I searched and got a app called Language Enabler. But it says it is only for Samsung Galaxy phones. But i tried it and it does not work. But i need it for Sony Xperia Sola

Please delete this thread. Searched and got a app called "Locale & Languae" which helps to create custom one which is not in the phone settings. And i created and setup the locale which i need.
Thanks for the help.
Report your own thread and ask for delete and that should do it
