Stop Music when removing headphones - Verizon LG G3

So i was listening to some music at work today and got a phonecall. I have headphones without a mic and pulled out the headphones and answered the call. When i hung up - the music started BLASTING through the speaker phone!!!!!!
in my galaxy s3, when you pull the headphones out - it pauses/stops w/e music is playing until you push play again.
How do i make the G3 do the same?
Also, how do i take a screenshot?

Not sure about the music thing and it is a good question because I am coming from a S3 also but there are two ways to take a SS I think, one just push in the power and volume down buttons at the same time. The other way, well I'm not sure. Sorry. :silly:

To make the music pause will depend on your player.
It will be in the settings.
I know PowerAmp does it. I don't use the factory application.

As soon as I pull out my headphones, the music stops with both the stock music app and google play.

It's because you pulled the headphones out after the phone started ringing that it did that. The dialer will resume the music for you. The music app wasn't in control at the point you pulled the headphones out.

[Q] Having problems with music using earphones

The music plays fine normally. With the earphones on, I can listen to other people while making calls, I can listen to the ringtones while testing them. I just can not seem to get to listen to the music! It appears to be playing but there is no sound. I have no volume controls on my earphones so I think I am missing something inside the settings.
I am having problems with the native music player, youtube, pandora. Is there anything else I can test ?
It would be great if someone could help me out on this. Thanks!
Julio Iglesias does this to my earphones also!
All it required, apparently, was a damned reboot. The phone was drained completely of the battery and turned off. When it was back up, everything was back to normal.
When in doubt... reboot!

Supplied S2 Headphones . Not working very well..

Hey, My supplied headphones use to work great. am not sure whether or not ive pulled the wire's too far or somthing, but anyway. Only 1 speaker is working , and the other is Very Low... When i play music and keep the (button on the cable) pushed in. The music on the Low speaker becomes louder, but not as loud as what i should be.
Also , I use to be able to push the button, and it would pause / Play the music, now it just starts the track from the beggining, And when am in call i use to be able to hang up, but now it does nothing.
Does this sound like the phone or the headset?
thanks
Craig
Make sure headphone jack is fully home first .

[Q] My touchpad headphones dont play :(

Hello Guys. Someone could help me? My touchpad (classicnerd) plays music in the speaker but in headphones no . I booted in webOS and it played fine. Anyone with is problem?
Thanks
I have the same problem
What are you trying to listen to and which build are you using? I just tested my headphones with Classicnerd-Butta-0.1.0-v2.1-Odex and it seems to be working here. I have system volume as well as Google Music volume coming through loud and clear.
Im trying to listen some regular MP3, and I have Classicnerd-Butta-0.1.0 installed. I installed google music as well. The sound plays fine in the speakers but in headphones it doesnt play at all.
If you reboot with the headphones plugged in, you should get sound in them. (When I did that, it was way too loud, so be a little careful.)
I also found that if I unplugged the headphones, the sound went correctly to the device speakers, but plugging the phones back in returned to the "no sound in phones" state.
This is a known problem. Hopefully it will be better in the public release.

[Q] Problem with Bluetooth phone

Hello all,
I am having a problem getting the phone part of my new DNA to work with blue-tooth in my car. The A2DP works great but after I answer or make a phone call with my Car Stereo (eclipse 3200) I cant hear anything and they cant hear me. If I use the dial-pad on the phone to make a call I hear the tones from the button pushes but nothing after the call is connected.
Thanks for any help or suggestions

I have a Sony bluetooth player in my car and it will not even recognize the device.
Edit: It was a user error on my part. I have successfully paired and it works flawless.

My car recognizes and pairs with the DNA, but it will only play the first 1-2 seconds of music, then the radio stops receiving any audio. Sometimes it works properly and will play songs completely, but the majority of the time, it will cut out. I can pause and unpause it, and I'll get 1-2 seconds of music, then it stops again.
Also, any high pitched sounds (ie. cymbals, percussion, etc.) are very distorted. I had this same issue on the Thunderbolt The Galaxy Nexus I had for the past year had no issues and sounded perfect over bluetooth.
I am disappoint.

I think the phone just has bluetooth problems in general, or BT4 is just not 100% backwards compatible. I have a Pioneer stereo, and never had any problems with any of my android devices (OG Droid, Droid X, inc2 and gNex) connecting, but when I connect my DNA, it actually crashes the phone process on the handset and it restarts (the process, not the handset). It still appears to be connected to the stereo after that, but I haven't tried making a call yet.
Stereo doesn't support BT streaming, so I can't test that. Has an SD slot, and that's all I ever use.
I'm having the same problem. My music will play for about 3 seconds, then goes silent. The car says I'm still connected, Google Music is still playing, but it mutes out. Was having fun while driving hitting the pause/play button to listen to a song 3 seconds at a time. Does anyone know if this is a OS problem, hardware problem or incompatibility, or other problem? I didn't see many posts about this elsewhere and haven't heard back from Verizon.

Working fine for me with my Kenwood. Music does skip occasionally, but my other phones (galaxy nexus, thunderbolt) have done that too.

For all of us who suffer a HTC Toyota combo and the dreaded bluetooth pause issue I believe I have found the issue and got a working solution !
From what I gather, the HTC music player sets the bluetooth player state to pause when leaving the music player and most other apps do not set it back to streaming. I found one which does, so a simple solution !
1. Start and stop a piece of music with the Fplay music player and it will reset the bluetooth player state to streaming. I put a widget on the home screen.
2. Start your other apps and enjoy streaming sound again.
3. Enjoy

audio routing to the call speaker...?

hey guys,
as we all know there are two speakers in phone, the bigger one (for songs or ringtone)
and the smaller one (for voice call - above the screen! )
I have cm12.1 and today when i was listening a song through speaker using ES file explorer media player, then suddenly I had to make a call, the media player stopped during the call, I just thought what if I press play during the call? and when I started the song during the call, the sound started to come through the small speaker!!
so I was thinking if there is an app from which we can intentionally use the small speaker to listen to anything like songs (or something you don't want other people around you to hear )
my second though is that, few years ago my friend had a Nokia phone (I don't remember the model no.) and he used to show me a cool thing during a call If he played a song, the song started playing in the recievers phone (from the small speaker) not like when you take your phone close to the tv speaker, but just like someone was singing into the speaker, I wonder if theres an app to do that?
also if I am wrong somewhere in this post please enlighten me..
