I was on cyanogenmod 10 with my xperia P. i wanted to downgrade the phone to use another rom.
so i flashed the "Sony_XperiaP_6.1.1.b.1.75_Generic_World" via flashtool.
then i rooted. works perfect till here.
i installed cwm through adb ( CWM Recovery by atis112 ). i tried to restart and go to cwm manually, per adb and a reboot app.
doesnt work for me
RecoverX doesnt support the Xperia P.
what can i do to get into recovery ? ..

Hello,
i root my phone and install xrecovery cwm5 with flashtool 0.5.3.
i reboot in recovery and wipe all, finally install pRime 4.2.
And reboot, but my phone stay on Sony Ericsson screen a lot of time (about 10 min).
i put out the battery and put in, my phone don't boot.
How can i return in recovery mode?
I try with flashtool to install an another ROM, but he say
INFO - Searching Xperia...
ERROR - USB\VID_0FCE&ADDE\5&550083A&0&1
What can I do

Do u have unlocked boot loader?
1. This is the wrong Section !!!
2. You can't install anyrom ( other than the stock ) with flashtool .
3. You have to be on unlocked bootloader to flash custom kernels .
4. You saying you see the Sony Ericsson logo , I think you are on locked bootloader & you installed cwm 5 via xrecovery ? ( cob's method right ? )
5 . So don't try to do anything with flashtool , Try flashing another rom from Recovery.
6. Or try to get your bootloader unlocked , check for sticky guides ,then flash my given kernel from Flashtool & flash the rom via recovery .

i flash a new kernel and a new ROM, all is fine now.
I have my 3 phones with MIUI rom's.

I used the recoverX software to install CWM to my xperia p with JB. The boot-loader is locked. The process showed that it was able to successfully install CWM to my device and I restarted it as instructed.! I tried to boot into CWM Recovery mode. But the device booted into normal system.
I installed recovery manager and it stated that I don't have CWM installed. How can I install CWM to Xperia P.

I was on firmware 6.2.A.1.100 and did a research. Found the thread you gave! Thank you for your help!

Like I told you a few times now,there's no recovery mode
Install the recovery via xparts from the playstore or unlock your bootloader and flash a custom kernel. Or you just check out my guides for rooting your device, as you don't need the recovery to root

I've recently flashed CyanogenMod 12 Rom on my Xperia T.
Yesterday I tried to install BRAVIA Engine 3 by flashong a .zip, but I got an error "E:cannot load volume /misc!".
I've read some threads and the comments below and what I understood is that the Cyanogen Recovery can't flash ZIP files...
That's why I want to replace it, but I'm not sure how. I flashed TWRP on Xperia T's stock ROM with adb in fastboot mode and what I want to know is - if I flash it again through fastboot will it work properly and is it safe?
If this is not the way I need some help with replacing it with TWRP, CWM or any good working recovery......
I hope someone will answer this.....

I've used "Rashr - Flash Tool" and flashed TWRP. It shows you the latest version of TWRP and flashes it.
Working fine on me Xperia T with CM12.
Hi I have Sony Xperia Z2 and I flashed resurrection remix ROM unofficial....phone begin to restart random ...and I can't go to the recovery ROM ...and the root is disappear ....and I can't installed another ROM .... please help me?!!!:crying:
if you can power off the phone,go to fastboot mode and open your pc and install adb fastboot . and type fastboot reboot recovery
First install stock room .and then root ,install twrp.and flash rr latest version from official site
And update twrp using adb
