Hello ,
2days ago , i had an accident with my P780 , it touched some water where Power button is , my 1st reaction was to clean it carefully.
After that , i left it for 1 hour about.Then, when i take it , it was already on bootloop...(switch off , says lenovo (logo) and then switch on again) ,until no battery left.
when i charge it , red light is on so i think battery works fine. the same when i connect it on my pc
Next day, i tried to flash it , and i did it 3 times with different roms.After every time flash finished, my phone was dead. so i had to hard reset it (red button near battery), then the same thing again ....Bootloop , switch off and switch on..
I tried to find out why i cant switch it off ,( it first place i thought my power button has a damage) ( i am not sure yet)
when i Power button +VolDown , it tells me about meta-mode
When i Power button + VolUP , does nothing at all ( again reboots)
when i power button + volUp + volDown (trying to enter on recovery mode of each custom Rom) i am managed to enter for about 1-2 sec and then reboots again.
If i just long press power button does nothing at all.
I tried to flashing it 3 times (Green cycle) so i think i did well .
I dont know which is the problem...
maybe Hardware dmg ?

What ROM did you have first?
Did you try to dry first your phone ?

i place this inside rice for about ~12 hours ,also i heat it with hair dryer about 5 min , then screen was very very hot.
I dont know ....When i touch it and i shake it near my ear , i think i can hear something is moving inside phone , but never drops me from my hand (i think 1 time happends about 4 months ago)
I had X-vibe Rom by Xakep for about 3-4 monts when this happened.
ok i just installed official lenovo Rom, Now my P780 can open , but when i press Power Button to open my screen lock , its just Reboots itself...Its a hardware Problem ? Maybe i keep it inside rice for 1-2 days more??

Ok i will try it , i just put it out from rice, and i charge it , but this time, doesnt open alone....so this is good thing or not ?
I am afraid if i try to touch my Power button my phone will be complete dead ,if i try to press the red button , then bootloop again until out of battery.

I am a p500 user(of coz) and it was cyanogen mod 7 alpha 2 ...... last might when i put a theme zip (Galaxy S) in the sd card and turn off it then press home+volume down+power , the first colourless lg logo suddenly went off and i tried it again and even take out the battery but it still didnt help . I also tried to get inot emergency mode and get the battery out but it still like this !

Try shaking ur phone like hell when pressing power on + vol dwn + home.
Do it after removing the battery and putting it back on.

if you try to charge the (dead) mobile, does it show any charging or activity?

It just shows up the colorless lg logo and after a few second and it just goes black and I tried the ways mentioned above but it still like this

you guys probably might know this message.ya..as they said,i try press the volume down button first..but nothing happened..and when press volume up button also,nothing just happened.when i pressed power button,the screen blackout for a while then show the warning message again....it just stucked here already!!!!!i try taking out battery and put again.but no use..just the warning message..so i did some research on internet and i could went into recovery mode..and there 4 options available there:
1.reboot(it just went back to warning mode)..
2.apply update from sd card(and there is another problem.i can't go down even i pressed volume down button!!!!but it takes around 15mins to go down!!!WTF>?)
3.clear data something
4.clear cache(just using shortly)

Hi first sorry for my bad english but i will do my best.
So heres the story, i tried to root my GF phone in order to install CM 10.2, i was able to install safestrap but i deleted something and now the phone dont even power one. I mean when i do any combinaison of Power + Volume up or down or even Power + volume up and down at the same time nothing hapen, No motorola logo, nothing append.
But i saw something, when the phone is plugged in usb and i try to boot it with volume down + power i saw an: OMAP thing in device manager... but ... it appear, disapear like 20 time in row and stop to appear after 2 minute i mean my comp detect, delete, detect, delete if you know whats i mean
The phone is a Rogers XT910 GSM phone it was working number one prior flashing but now it dont power on. Any idea ? i searched a lot on xda, tried almost anything, but nothing work.
I flash phone on a daily basis but never flashed a motorola phone before
So, let's go, let me help you mate...
1 - turn off your phone;
2 - press and hold every single physical button together (power, Vol+, Vol-)
3 - You will see a recovery screen (like an DOS on computer)
4 - Pressing Vol- you change the options, Vol+ you select any option there
5 - Enter the option: AP Fastboot
6 - Download the program called RSDLite
7 - Download a full official retail JB rom
8 - Install this rom using RSDLite
9 - After you pass whole process succesfully, your phone is ready to be used again.
Remember: CHARGE your phone to 100%, because the process is slow and your battery will drain fast, so have sure you did a long charge before installing the rom again.
I was direct on the answer...if you have any doubt...so ask...

I am having Micromax Knight A350 this phone not having removable battery option because of unibodey design you can remove only two sim cards Like iPhone.
I know in Boot Loop problems best way is to remove battery and then go to recovery wipe the phone and then all is well (this i know from experience of my Old phone Samsung galaxy SL - GT-i9003 )
But know i am having Knight A350 where i can't remove battery
and also I am text you that these following things i all ready tried so don't suggest in Thread
During boot loop
1) press power key only
==> this make phone restart but cant make you out from boot loop. (NOT USEFUL)
2) press power key + volume up key go to recovery and then wipe the phone.
==> i tried this 20 to 30 times but this do nothing worked same as like i pressed only power key.
3) press power key + vol down key then connect with PC and load working ROM.
==> I tried this also but result is same as above
NOTE :- 2nd and 3rd works only when phone is switched off we can say processor in deep sleep and just waiting for interrupt to start(correct me if I text wrong here). but in case of boot loop or restarting we can't put our phone in deep sleep so we cant enable option 2 and 3.
These only steps i tried so please suggest me some Good steps for this fix this issue.

Have you tried holding vol+, Vol- and power button all three at a time or wait for the battery to soak up and connect to pc load a working rom using flashtools. i also faced same problems with knight but these worked for me.

Hi dear,
i tried by battery draining and in my case my battery was at more than 90% , my phone taken 3 heavy days to discharged. after that i found my phone battery in deep discharge state (i am guessing this ) because after attaching my charger , i had wait for 5-10 min for viewind charging display. but nothing come, so i left my phone with charger connected and when i viewed it after 2 hours again then i found it at battery level of 30% around and then work done

i was trying to install some old hacker kernel maybe of MM version accidentaly on my S6 edge Noughat Noble rom, now i am stuck at Creating paths line, not going ahead since hours, neither i am unable to open recovery mode or the other mode, unable to switch off phone as well, kindly help ,,,, emergency.

Just Power + Volume '-' + Home hold it together. When Samsung logo comes then switch fast to 'Volume +' button and also hold it together then will you go to recovery menu.
no dear, its an emergency , i am unable to do anything, i cant even switch off the phone and hence need help for this emergency, show some kindness and plelase help me out from this mess.

System is already working or TWRP? Doesn't matter what if you hold power button for 30 sec (something like that, don't remember good) phone must turn-off/turn-on/reboot.

I am on twrp , stuck at kernel installation screen, tried power and volume up and home didnt help , and when i try power and vloume down and home it says screen shot taken, the phone is not restarting at all . cant even switch off the phone.

Power, Volume DOWN and Home... For longer time (min. 20 sec) not like 5 second.
holy god , you saved it brother, its working now, had to hold the button for 20 secs. thanks i will re install the rom and the kernel in your signature.

Just do not panic the next time and look for the answer yourself which is simple
