Today i bought iball Andi 4.5h phone and tried to root it. I used a tutorial, where a Recovery- APP was used, where i simply had to choose the zipfile and it restarted on its own. Something must have gone wrong, because i cant boot into any kind of recovery (volume up + Power key).My phone rooted successfully by using another tutorial.But i am not able to insall clockworkmod recovery.pls help

I've successfully rooted the stock 4.2.2 (kernel: 3.4.5) using a Chinese rooting method, then installed SuperSU
I want to install CWM on it but i can not get into flashmode I have tried clicking the reboot to flashmode button in RKAndroidTool.exe with a reply Device can not do Flash Mode, because of no drive) and holding the power up button gets me into recovery not flashmode while playing with holding the buttons down i managed to get into a service menu (in Chinese) and it showed up as CDC Serial in device manager
Is it even possible to install CWM on this tablet/phone ( it is a tablet with phone&sms functions ) if so how?

I have Alcatel One Touch C5 5036X rooted with original ROM. I redused heap size from 128MB to 64MB and after reboot it freezes on my mobile service company logo. Wipe user data from recovery don't help. Cannot go in fastboot mode. The only key combination that is working is VOL UP + POWER buttons for recovery mode. Dont have custome recovery and i dont remember if USB debugging was ON.
Someone please give me any idea how to flash the compleate android system. Is it posible somehow? (usb jig or any other tricks) Please..... thanks.

i have successfully rooted through root genuious
then i tried to install cwm recovery through mobile uncle.
but after i installed cwm recovery now am unable to go into recovery mode
even original recovery mode now not opening .
its showing press +vol for recovery -vol for other
but when i push up vol button into it stuck on canvas logo and later resart ..
now ll you help me further?

My Canvas nitro is not booting into recovery mode. I rooted the device to install MiUI ROM using Kingo root. Also by using mobile uncle tools I tried to install TWRP, but instead of booting into recovery mode, it is fall into a loop shoeing the starting screen i.e screen showing "Micromax powered by Android". IF I release Volume UP and Power button , it is rebooting into normal mode. Please help.. I need to install custom rom in my Canvas.
Try installing CWM recovery through Mobile Uncle Tools and then try going into recovery mode.
Use Philz recovery if any issues arise with CWM recovery. Links to download both the recoveries can be found in the forum.
Do revert back if any issues persists.

i had the same problem. What you have to do is boot into fastboot and then flash recovery.Keep doing this till it succeeds. It took me 5 tries to actually get the recovery up and running. Wipe all the data in the internal storage and flash a new rom.

Flash the new twrp recovery using rashr tool. I Hope it will work
