After updating to 4.4.4 Rooted Now .. I'm unable to access the Google play market. It always shows no connection .. Tried several times its not working ..tried different apks but still the same issue is there ..
Any help would be appreciated..

go to /system/etc/ scroll down and you will see a file named 'hosts'...open the file with any text editor and edit your file to look like the one in the pic below and save it!

so i installed this rom :

but im having 2 main problems, they dont really bug me too much but it would be great to fix them
1) i cant seem 2 take a screen shot there, or maybe i just dunno how to?
i tried every method possible.
so i just used n app 2 take a screen shot for this next problem :

For those getting a This item is not compatible with your device message when they have a custom rom:
go and get your build.prop out of the /system/ folder
Open it in Notepad++ (or similar) and find this line:
ro.build.fingerprint=SEMC/ST25i_1262-1658/ST25i:2.3.7/*************
now change the red part into:
6.0.B.3.184/R7P_zw:user/release-keys
so you'll get something like:
ro.build.fingerprint=SEMC/ST25i_1262-1658/ST25i:2.3.7/6.0.B.3.184/R7P_zw:user/release-keys
save this back in your system folder and set the right permissions:

Stock rom. Just rooted via keiranFTWs latest kernel

I want to backup my data with the Kies first before I can root it, but I find some difficulties with it (pls refer to the screen captures). I have tried to restart my phone, reinstall Kies and restart and whatever, it simply doesn't work. Can anybody help? Thanks a million!

i had old number in whtzapp which not with me and now not working , i did backup whatzapp on that number in to google drive and i took local back also
ok everything finished i reset my phone and i want to get backto my msges in whatzapp , when i try to get from google drive its says there is nothing coz maybe i backup on different number ? bt in the google drive showing under the app so i cant get it from google drive , then i tried the local backup this error im getting

I have an S22 ultra unlocked. I have completely wiped the phone and reinstalled fresh firmware from sam mobile with odin. When logging in my google account and entering play store I get the error DF-DFERH-01. It will let me download apps and update as usual but the home page I jsut get the error. If I log in with another google account it works. I contacted google and they were no help asking me to clear cache and ect. I explained it was a fresh phone but Im not sure they understand. Ive placed the DF-DFERH-01 error in all sorts of forums and google with nothing helping. Any ideas? Thank you in advance
