Is that a stock fit, or will it require a larger back case to accommodate? I have the wireless charging Quick Circle case. I can't take an expanded back case.

9000 mah would definitely be a replacement back.

you will have a hard time finding a battery that is much larger that will fit with the stock back
3500 is the largest stock size I have seen so far.

Where did you find it? On ebay from chinese sellers?? What brand is it? If noname - then it is definitely smaller than not just 3500mah, but also smaller than stock 3000mah. These are Chinese batts, baby)

**** Vitale Baby!
Anyway, not all batteries made in China are bad batteries. Take a look at the stock BL-53YH for the LG G3, whats that say? .... yes made in China.
***Moderators could you move my ill placed thread please, I should have posted this is QA section***

Just checking out Seidio's website, looks like they will have a slim case with a kickstand. It looks slimmer than htc's kickstand case.
http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CSR3HEV3DK-BK
They even have a 1900 mAh slim battery planned.
that looks sick, what about the 1900mah battery? link?

Nice.. i was waiting for a SEIDIO case
These 3rd party manufactures with batteries claiming to have more capacity in the same size are full of it. Most of the time they are even worse than the stock battery which have a lower rated capacity.
I can't post a link but go to batteryboss dot org
Any perceived improvement in battery life is just that... its a placebo effect and these companies are making a killing off it.

Was about to post the same thing. This should have been posted in Accessories, repost or not.
I loved the 3500 for my EVO 4G and will be all over it for the 3D also.... the extra bulk does not bother me one bit. It is so nice to be able to use the device any which way I like and not worry about battery at all. Especially when I get GREAT 4G coverage at home.
Anybody have one of these from HYPERION?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hyperion-AT...740016?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f1d03fbf0
I do. I don't think it's actually 5000mAh though. It only gives me a few extra hours over stock.

interesting...
i purchased a 5200 off ebay and i kind of feel the same way you do. that damn mugen is too expensive - i'm about to cut the label off and see whats in this exntended battery for real
I bought the one of these for my GN7000 international note..
Worked great in there.. lasted 2 work days instead of one..
Then I sold the international and bought the i717 LTE ATT version.
I use this same battery in the ATT note only without the 7000 back and only the rubber over case..
Works great and I get the same long 2 day battery time with it!!!
good luck.

I'm considering doing the same. There's a review on amazon that says it's only 3000, two 1500s glued together o.0
I just got the battery from seidio thats 4000 mah ITS A GO! it drains slow even when im on 1.5 ghz awesome battery guys definitley a worth buy i got better battery life when i kept it on charge for hours so if your not sure to get the battery or not and if u dont mind the little thickness guys this battery is awesome.
EDIT: the power button is a bit hard to press you will have to press it hard(TWSS) ?
Please do a little testing and report the behaviour.
I think (if your results stay good) I will give it a try.

4000mah that's alot of battery juice ...Is it worth the bulk?
You can get the 3500 mah battery for the same bulk as the 4000.when I first got the battery I still haven't removed it or thinking of that for me it's worth it the bulk that is but for some 55$ is a bit over for a battery price
yeah in that case might as well go with the 4000mah... I should probably upgrade myself still using stock battery...usually last me around 70% of the day
Sorry to drudge this up, but how's the battery holding up? Is the Seidio backplate really as bad of a fit as everyone says it is? I am seriously considering getting one cuz I wanna use my phone all day instead of sparingly.
HTC Evo 3D Custom Battery
Thanks for sharing the story, I currently have the default 1.71 battery and I mean like it lasts for the day with low/moderate usage but it isn't enough for me. How much did you pay this battery and where can I purchase it from? :good:

This battery is extremely well. That extra 500 of juice as proven itself useful.
As far as the size, people will get over it. I had a few buddies comment on my phones size and I kindly tell them I wasn't blessed with small hands like them, so to me, it's not big.
Bottom, the price tag for the battery and full package protective case has already paid itself off in my last convoy. Dropped while I was loading up cargo on the deuce and a half and it didn't shatter. When I was in the field, I had the only working cell phone pass the two week mark.
So if you're on your phone a lot and don't always have a power source to charge, this and the 3500 battery are for you. I had the 3500, but again, that extra 500 made a difference with me.

Um, you're in the HTC EVO 3D forum, what do you think?
At O.P.
Sounds good, i'm guessing it fits in the original back cover? No need for an aftermarket one?

Ir comes with a replacement cover. It's almost identical to this. which is a re-badged Seidio 3500mah with cover. Picked one up for $10 including shipping, well worth it IMHO.

I bought that battery from cowboom in September when this was posted, and it definitely needs the expanded replacement cover as it is about twice as thick as the stock battery. The cover fits well though, unlike the Seidio that has has gaps at bottom of the phone for a lot of people, including me.
There's no way that a 3500mah battery could use the normal cover. Here's the Amazon listing for the same battery where the photos more clearly show the larger cover.

If you're in the US you can get the specially designed branded version made for Best Buy on EBay for under $20. Just search for Platinum instead of Seidio. You can get the cases cheaper that way also if you decide to stay with a factory battery although I've seen a few surface extended cases for less than $10.

Is that different from the one that was previously linked for $7+shipping on the CowBoom subsidiary of BestBuy?

Does anyone know if there is a clear back cover for the Note 3? One that replaces the existing one but is completely transparent?
I saw one on eBay. Imo it looks dumb because your just end up seeing the battery and SIM.
I was also wondering to buy one transparent case...and I was looking for some on net...got to find this slim grip hybrid case for N3 and I really liked it....so just ordered it..and as per the tracking status..will be receiving it by tomorrow...will surely put up the reviews...its different looking nice...

Yabbut, isn't this a case that goes ON the outside of the device over the back cover? I was looking for a transparent back cover. I kind of like the industrial look of someone seeing the back and the battery and the device internals. Hey, some of us are geeky that way.

I'm NOT at all sure it's available. I do know I've found them for all my previous devices, eventually. I just think it looks cool. I was asking here because I didn't know if it was available and I hadn't found it.

This piqued my curiosity so I checked out eBay. They don't appear to include any sort of custom back so I would surmise they're the same size as the original battery. I would still be skeptical of these but if you buy one be sure to give us your review.
