Sorry if I ask in the wrong thread, as I'm new to the forum.
Please I have questions about my ROOTED Galaxy Tab 2 P5100 (3G) with the LATEST OMNIROM (4.4.4-20140819-p5100-nightly):
1) is it possible to install Touchwiz UX on it?
2) Is there a theme to install (like the white one in the original factory rom), as with my omnirom, it is a basic GUI?
3) Is it possible to activate (by some hidden option) the wifi hotspot? it was working before I decided to move to the omnirom. Note that the Bluetooth tethering still work for me.
If all this require to change from omnirom to other rom, what do you advice ?

2. IDK, never tried it on my P5110 as I liked Omni's UI

Thanks tetakpatak. But still i cannot use wifi hot-spot with any version of omnirom. Note that dit was working on thé stock ROM and other tethering work dell. Thanks fort advicing.

Mate, it definitely should work... but I own a Wi-Fi only version so I can't try myself.
Did you manage to setup the password? Or is it greyed out? If you aren't using any custom kernel, please try to create logcat while starting the wifi hotspot and post it in the ROM development thread for our developer, @Android-Andi
He might ask you for few more logs to debug the problem.
One more thing: did you instal totally clean way, after formatting all (including also /system)? It is very important for Kitkat ROMs.

The wifi hotspot SEEMS working, as it does not show any errors. But there is no wifi hotspot !
wifi connection To a router works well, USB tethering and Bluetooth tethering also Work. But there is no wifi HOTSPOT.
The problem started after I installed OMNIROM. And yes I did a clean installation

As I can see - there is already Google Edition ROM was ported from i9505 phone. Is there possibility to port another greatest ROM - Android Revolution HD to i545? I will ask owner for permissions.
No need to wait or ask for a port, that rom most likely will be a multi carrier rom very soon. His work with the G3 version was awesome. Give him time. Actually it is the works now, he was waiting on a solid working aroma installer to work.

I asked him for permission for porting and he said - "no problem, go ahead". If he had in mind to port on i545 - he would tell me for sure.
Actually, I tried to install his ARHD for i9505 on my i545 - and Aroma Installer was working properly till the end. But ROM won't boot because of Verizon's security check (accordingly to the message on screen). I will try also to put in archive different kernel and to check through build.prop settings.
Also I am planning to take VRUAMDK base for porting, if none of developers will help me I was on HTC devices before and have some ROM-building experience.

Well, first run is successfull. Everything is working so far, except NFC and CDMA-networking (minor for me - I am using mostly GMS).
Any testers-volonteers? Was ported ARHD v. 2.0
UPD: No, NFC is also working.That was message about pay-over-NFC turning off.
GPS - tested. Camera, calls, SMS, USSD - everything is working. S-view cover support is also working. Running ktoonez's KT kernel - everything is just flying!
GSM was started up and even APN was set automatically and properly and 2G (EDGE) is working.
3G (HDSPA) is also working. Voice calling was testet both in 2G and 3G GSM networks.
UPD2: And I forgot to say - yes, Aroma Installer is working perfect.
Where is this file? I'll test it.

Questions go into the Q&A Area not general thread.
Lollipop is still very new and requires alot more work to get it working as a daily driver.
When that happens there maybe more roms.

Actually I used the CM12 Alpha 4 for 3 days i didn't had any problems the only thing i was fed up about is that i had to enter that data fix code when ever it turn on mobile data .
Trying RessurectionRemix for today, everyting works almost as fine as possible.
Wifi got bugged after rebooting with airplane mode, easily fixed after rebooting again with AP mode off.
So far the only real problem at least for me is a constant wake lock. And no, my phone isn't Murata.

Actually i didn't face any of these problems in CM12 so i'll suggest to give it a try. and also a new release of Nameless rom is out. so will try that over the weekend.
and my phone has a murata chip,
so trust me there were no wifi issues, mobile data as also working fine with the help of the temporary flashable zip file.
so give it a try.
CM12 with Cellular Data Fix - Android 5.0 - Unofficial Port - Redmi Note 4G
Firstly, this is not a flashable zip from receovery. This is a fully working ROM from TWRP backup. I tried to make it flashable zip but somehow didnt succeed and also didnt get time to work further. I will do it when I get little free time.
Instructions:
1. MUST HAVE TWRP RECOVERY ON YOUR DEVICE
2. Download the ROM on your computer and extract it.
3. Copy the extracted ROM to your sd card > TWRP > Backup folder
4. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
5. Restore > Select the copied ROM backup from SD card.
This includes GAPPS as well. Other addons you can flash as you want from other sources. As per my usage can be used as daily driver if you want change from MIUI and want to see lollipop in your Redmi Note 4G.
Data FIX:
I have included a script that needs to be executed when you toggle/enable mobile data.
1.) Toggle/enable mobile data
2.) After a min hit the "Data on: widget in home screen. You will get an IP address and data must work flawlessly!
If you get Invalid IP address, hold on for a min and hit data on widget again until you get IP address. Network takes few seconds to assign IP.
Note: If you do not want widget on home screen, you have to go to gscript and run the data on script when you toggle mobile data.
If you use another launcher, just add widget of gscript to home screen, it will ask for the script, point it to gscript.
If anyone can make it as flashable zip, you are most welcome. Please upload and give me link to add to this first post.

Its weird nowadays. That the common bugs hasn't being solved, but, some blokes kept posting new "ROMS" even though its not new. Just being ignorance, or just want to post things in XDA forum.

Assuming that OP wrote "This is a FULLY Working Rom" in the red lines, I think it should work. Anyway camera is just google camera, might try using another camera app. The biggest problem is Mobile Data connection.
if someone tested..please replay..
Just tested this ROM..after I restored it..it show 3g mobile connection.. but I just can't connect to any website LOL and camera force close..now I'm back to mokee ROM and I think this ROM isn't ready yet for daily use.

I think he only provide download when he thinks that the ROM is ready for daily usage and all function is working
Got work around for data!
after spending some good amount of time I managed to get a work around for mobile data(both 2g and 3G) that's working well. I'll upload my rom tomorrow.

Hey guys today when I flashed the resurrection remix official with gapps stock zip I got a pretty irritating bug in the portable WiFi hotspot setting wheneverI turn on the WiFi hotspot it says error and I have to restart my phone again and again to make the hotspot work please guys help me to solve this issue and tell me if any one of you are having this issue or not
Same here ! And even if hotspot gets on sometimes it is not detectable in my laptop or other phones !

Bro RR right now contains some pretty major bugs, I would suggest to switch to a better more stable ROM like LOS or AEX for now and as you know kernel sources are released by Xiaomi now so we'll get really quick updates for pretty much every ROM . And right now these ROMS don't contain the hotspot bug so just try em out. Hit thanks if helped.

same issue here, tried talking to carrier EE they diagnosed everything is normal on their end. I even tried replacing the SIM card it works for once, then error again. Super annoying!! I don't want to reset the phone and spend another 2 days to recover the data and setting up all my all and layout damn it!

Any suggestions on getting a data connection on cellular? The rest is working beautifully, but I don't get the option to change the settings for cellular, and even though it's connecting to the network, it won't go to 4G or LTE. Thanks for your hard work @alex009988
This rom was build by sabar, I dont have plans to rebuild it. If it works on other my last roms like aosip then use it. It means pixel rom uses a bit different device.

Thanks for the reply, it's a great ROM just can't get the cellular to connect. I get a signal so the modem is working, but something is wonky with the configuration on this ROM. I wanted to use AOSIP, but unfortunately bluetooth is crashing on that one!
Anyone else experiencing an issue with the cellular connectivity or found a way to get it to connect?

It doesn't work completely or crashing sometimes? Brcause I was checking it with bluetooth headphones. It seemed to be working then.
