Even if there was a way to do so, I don't think it would be really worth it. It's like trying to connect to XBL using dial-up; super slow more than anything.
when i use wifi tethering the very few games it lets me join due to strict nat type have bareley any lag especially if its a good host with fast internet. it isnt as slow as dial up as i get 3g signal which is way faster than edge/gprs so if i only got edge/gprs then the speed, would be dial up speed and wouldnt even connect to a game even with open nat type i bet. all i want is an easy way to open the nat type cos i get quite fast internet. also the sound from people talking in party, game chat etc bareley gets crackeled up which you would expect with this connection. someone needs to develop an app to open the nat type and if it has already been done, someone please upload it and post it here.

I don't play gta5 live, but I need an internet connection to save game progress. My smartphone does not have WiFi, it does have Bluetooth and USB tethering. I've searched to see if Xbox 360 has Bluetooth capability. Nothing definitive yet.

This has me scratching my bonce too. I don't have internet at home but have a internal network in the house with wifi switch (for laptops, NAS and streaming media to xbox). The only internet I have is my all-you-can-eat data plan on 3 (UK).
I have easytether which connects laptop flawlessly but should also connect xbox 360 / Wii / ps3 but I get an MTU error on xbox. Annoying as I need to connect to Live! to update console and play a new game (also all my bought games revert to demo mode offline) Anybody got any progress on this?
hi all.
I have stock 2.3.4 rooted ray and I tried the new app -vscreens.com which let U to share your photo and video on wifi and I want to ask U if my transmit speed from Ray is good 4 G router
when I share my video(same network as pc - using G speed wirelees router)
the speed is 3.3mbps- isnt it to low? G standard speed should be up to 56mbps 4 local lan file sharing so why my xperia ray transmits filles so slow?
I tried enable burst mode but no change
what should I do? is it OK or I can be improved?

How did you check the speed?
There are 2 different things, speed between Router and phone/laptop, and speed from router to the whole internet.
The speed between router and phone/laptop can be high, 56 Mb/s or even 100 Mb/s, but speed to the internet maybe only 3.3 Mb/s and that can only be changed by your ISP(internet service provider).
Yes, it is good. I have a lower speed between my PC and router.

For me, speed between laptop and router is 72 Mbps(Megabits per second, not megabytes), but from router to the internet is only download 4,2 Mbps, upload 0,71 Mbps.
I wanna know if there is some app that do the same work like iDemo but in my android device... Thanx!
Something like airdroid maybe?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid
Maybe... I want to play my games on my pc screen like my friend do with his iphone 3gs, he play real racing on pc. Can this application do that? Or not exist such app for android?
try this [email protected]
i have tried over wifi but the frame doesnt keep up so its laggy on my pc screen, so u better try it with usb cable n make sure usb debugging is on n u dont activate storage cause ur game wont find game data (realracing2 is at /sdcard/android/data)
edit:
nevermind my post, cause i already try with usb, it does increase transfer rate but still don't keep up the frame rate aka laggy
Hey every one
i know android user can play games over blutooth or local wifi. i read some where that ragging thunder 2 also support these feature but i dont know how to connect 2 android to play if we have no router in house and also how to play on blutooth some one plz help me ..... its too difficult to write with on screen keyboard on windows (no physical keyboard today) so i cant explain my problem in details i think you understand what i want to know.
Hello,
i use teamviewer to connect to my (home) remote android smartphone, open its camera and see what happens in my home (i use the smartphone like a remote surveillance camera)
The streaming works very well, but i have the problem that i have a limited data plan, but teamviewer consumes a lot of data when it is streaming the camera.
I would like to reduce the bandwidth used by teamviewer: i do not need a super clear image and super fast frame rate.
So i would like to reduce the resolution and the frame rate.
Is there a way to reduce the streaming bandwidth used by teamviewer?
Perhaps setting some parameters on my smartphone camera in build.prop file?
My remote smartphone is rooted, i can do on it all modifications i want.
Do you have any suggestion?
Let me know!
Lodovico
no ... you can't change anything i think.
thanks,
i think so too, i searched also if there is some app that reduces the speed of the connection
Teamviewer adapts the streaming quality basing on the speed of the connection, so perhaps if i can reduce the speed, it should reduce also the bandwidth...
but i have not found such app...
i think bandwith is optimized to minimum
Yes,
i think the streaming quality is optimized basing on the available bandwidth.
But perhaps i found a solution:
Netlimiter for windows.
I connect to my remote smartphone with my laptop or windows tablet.
Here i can install Netlimiter, and set Teamviewer to use no more than a specific bandwidth (that i have to decide)
So if the upload bandwidth of teamviewer host on the smartphone depends on the download bandwidth of teamviewer client of my laptop/tablet, in that way i should limit the upload bandwidth of teamviewer of the smartphone...
What do you think?
Could it work?
Thanks
i think it will make it really slow maybe
yes, maybe
i 'll try and let you know
Netlimiter does not fit for my case.
I found that , despite the netlimiter does work on windows, reducing the download speed,
this does not impact directly with the upload speed of the smartphone, that keeps quite high.
Perhaps the teamviewer server that works in the middle, manages the two connections
- one for the upload (from the smartphone)
- one for the download (to the windows tablet)
almost independently...
so for now, i have still not found a solution for my problem
